Low beams flash on and off while driving. They do this on smooth and bumpy roads, and while sitting at stop lights. Sometimes only one goes out. Some times it is the right one, and sometimes the left, but so far it has only been one at a time for any length of time. Turning the lights on and off makes them both come on for a short period. Then on goes out again.

A headlight recall existsfor this model but my vin number does not confirm.my headlights are failing while driving at night. There seems to be an issue with the vin on this vehicle.

The contact owns a 2007 saab 9-7x.the vehicle experiencednumerous recurring failures.the vehicle was been taken to an authorized dealer to have the following failures repaired:license plate trimming, fuel sending unit, water pump, stabilitrak sensor, steering sensor, brake lights, front struts, front mounts, front bearings, upper control arms, serpentine belt, cup holder, manufacturer emblem, and the throttle positioning sensor. As my daughter was driving in elon north carolina, both headlights failed.she was able to get the high beams to work.she took the car the following day to a garage. They confirmed the lights worked intermittently.meaning - they would turn off for no reason.we called saab, at the 800 number to be told that we had xenon lamps so it was not a recall item.i explained the issue was identical to what had been reported on other models.the reply =gm had not told us we have to recall those yet. She gave me the name of a dealer 30 minutes away and told me we were responsible for the charges. Ok that is fine- but i have a hard time believing this is not related to the recall.read the posts on the internet - it is all over it for the same issue.something is wrong and someone is going to die because of it. My daughter was lucky. Please look into the lighting issues in all of the 9-7x. Thank you.

We have headlights that randomly go out since we purchased this car.it was serviced twice for driver side front door module.i expressed concern both times about the lights.received letter in jan./15 for headlight modular recall - but no parts available at that time.now notified that my car is not part of that recall.well the lights still go out periodicallyand we have to drive with the fog lights on.thank god no one has been injured.

One headlight goes out while driving. It can be drivers side or passenger side as it is not specific to one side or the other. Both headlights went out at the same time during a night drive. By turning the lights off and back on, they will usually come back on. There seems to be no pattern other than they just turn off. Saab stated that there were no recalls for my vehicles lighting.

On numerous occasions while driving my vehicle, it has registered half a tank to a quarter tank of fuel. While driving, with no warning, the vehicle has stalled, and later was determined to be out of gas. It has occurred at least 4 occasions in the past 6-8 months, always while i was on the highway.

Erratic fuel gauge.at times gauge will read empty when tank is near full or will read full when fuel tank is half full.

Fuel gauge does not display the correct fuel level.fuel gauge will indicate full when tank is empty, or empty when tank is full.has caused a check engine light on numerous occasions.

The contact owns a 2007 saab 97. The contact stated that while driving at an unknown speed, the fuel gauge was indicating incorrect level readings. The vehicle was not taken to a dealer or independent mechanic. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure and current mileage was 102,000. The vin was not available.

The first time i noticed a problem i was at the gas station.my fuel gauge indicated the vehicle was close to empty and needed gas.the vehicle has a 22-gal tank, but the pump stopped at 10 gallons.it would not take any more. I thought that was odd.i had never had any other problems with the vehicle.since the problem started the vehicle will only take 10-12 gallons of gas.my husband thinks there is more gas in the tank, but i'm not taking any chances.i reset the trip meter to zero each time i get gas.my vehicle gets approx. 18 mpg.i used to fill up at about 330 miles on the trip meter.one day, upon getting in the vehicle, the low fuel light was on.the vehicle had been driven approximately 216 miles.the gas hand came up to half a tank and then quickly began to drop to empty.the miles range (how many miles you need until you get gas) just starts quickly ticking down the miles.this has happened several times.now when i get near 216 miles driven i get gas.there is no stalling or anything like that. I have not run out of gas.i get gas immediately when the gauge starts dropping and the miles range starts ticking down.i make sure i hit the trip meter so i don't run out of gas.it sounds like a gas sensor or something like that.i will take it to the dealership next week to see what is wrong.i believe there needs to be a recall for this item.can you help?this problem started around june 10, 2011.

Less than 100 miles after the manufacturer warranty ended, after filling the gas tank, the gauge dropped to "empty" and the gas light came on.after driving for several miles the gauge started fluctuating between full and empty, and seemed to be accurate after a while.this continued for a few weeks, but eventually stopped fluctuating and now always shows empty, regardless of the amount of fuel in the tank.

The contact owns 2007 saab 9-7x. The contact stated that she refueled the vehicle to capacity and when she started the vehicle, the fuel gauge displayed an empty reading. The vehicle was not taken to the dealer to have the failure diagnosed. The manufacturer was not notified. The failure mileage was 50,000 and the current mileage was 57,000.

After filling up at the gas station a few days ago, i started the car and i got the low fuel light and warning ding.i turned the car off, restarted it and it showed i had a full tank of gas.as i drove to work (less the 2 miles) the gauge quickly went back down to empty and the light/ding came on.over the next few days it did this constantly so i had it looked at today.$500!! to fix.

The fuel gauge on my vehicle became faulty. The meter would work only till half tank and after that the guage would go straight down to e or empty.fuel sensor recall

Fuel gauge stopped reporting actual level of fuel in the tank about 2 years ago.guage remains pointed at 1/4 full tank level at all times.forced to keep track of fuel level by resetting the milage tracker at each tank fill-up.when miles reach around 250 its time to find a gas station to fill up again.have run out of gas 5-10 times in the last 2 years.several of the sudden "out-of-gas" events were also false.vehicle had gas, but engine stalled as though it had run out of gas.car was pulled to the side of interstate and coasted to nearby gas station.

My fuel gauge read empty after i filled up my tank.after driving for a few miles my service engine soon light came on.it will spontaneously read full, then empty then partially full then near empty etc etc.in researching this topic this seems to be a well documented issue for gm and it appears in the luck of the draw now my vehicle joins the large number of vehicles with this issue.i don't see a recall for this in my research for my 2007 97-x.is there a broader scope recall??some sites indicate a willingness of gm to pay half the cost??seems odd that if this is something that is common among gm vehicles why would gm not honor a repair of a known faulty design??

For the past two year i have been getting intermediate false fuel readings.the gauge would read empty or close to it.one time it stated i had more gas then i really did, causing me to run out of gas on the freeway. As time went on, the issue became more frequent.it is becoming a dangerous issue.

During turns at low speed, vehicle slips, making it very hard to steer.it feels like the vehicle is slipping on loose gravel.additionally, there is a low "howl" noise in the rear of the vehicle. My mechanic diagnosed this as a defect in the slip differential and recommended replacing the fluid.i have completed that service twice and the condition has not improved or gone away.

When the steering wheel is near locked (virtually fully engaged in a tight radius turn) the rear differential of the vehicle and wheels begin to slip, appear as though the vehicle is on gravel and wheel hop and "crow hopping" occurs and the driver is unable to make the vehicle go forward or backward under power. My wife has been complaining about this condition since we purchased the vehicle and there are tsb's from gm on the condition. I was driving the vehicle and made a tight radius turn the other day and was nearly broadsidedby another vehicle as i pulled into the right away the vehicle could no longer be powered to move forward due to the condition. As the wheel is straighten the ability to move the vehicle returns. This is an intermittent condition but well documented by many drivers on the web. Please force a recall before someone is killed. The dealers seem to be well aware of the condition but apparently cannot "duplicate the condition" or so they say. I am fighting with gm (as i purchased an extended warranty from gm)to make the necessary corrections.

When driving the car, at about 50 mph it will begin to feel like the wheels are cutting loose, like you are on gravel.it has also begun to make a howling noise that seems to be coming from the wheels?nobody seems to really be able to pinpoint the problem.we have thought maybe it had to do with traction control.it sent my husband into the ditch though.we're lucky it didn't send him into traffic!

When turning vehicle jumps and bumps and makes a whining noise.feels like car is riding on gravel and freezes and holds like all 4 wheels are grabbing and does not want to roll (crow hopping).repairs are over $2,000.00.dealership says it is the transfer case however after the rear end service was completed problem still remained.problem was misdiagnosed and they said they had repaired the rear pinion bearing which i received a full refund for as this did nothing to solve the problem.

Vehicle power windows, seats, seat heat stopped working.windows have gone up/down uncontrolled when keys are not even in the vehicle which is very dangerous.gm says that this condition is a fire hazard and do not park in a garage, but are dragging their collective feet in fixing this problem!!!! this vehicle is unsafe to put my family into, i just want it fixed now!!!!!

2007 saab 9-7x with several problems. Consumer would like the dealer to buy back the vehicle due to these problems. He states that the side mirror control does not work, grinding noise while turning right which was fixed previously.

The rear air suspension has a leak in it.it fails to calibrate correctly and has the vehicle sagging.in the winter this is very difficult to drive until it calibrates which can take more than a few minutes.the suspension continues to leak during the drive.

None of the drivers side front electric is working, air suspension died, no low beam

My complaint is regarding the faulty air suspension of a number if gm suvs. These include the trailblazer, envoy, and 9-7x (which i own). The air suspension leaks and fails to stay calibrated which results in the vehicle sagging to one side. This is extremely unsafe. While cornering or performing any emergency accident avoidance maneuvers the vehicle feels very dangerous. I can imagine that there have a number of accident that could have been prevented had these vehicle been made safer. Gm is aware of the problem and has issued service instructions to their technicians. However, i cannot understand why an investigation has not been launched into this issue. Thank you for your time.

The compressor and/or suspension air bags for the electronically controlled air suspension system began to periodically fail to raise the rear portion of the vehicle. The problem continued to occur periodicallyespecially when the temperature fell below 35 degrees which made me suspect whether the system was built to withstand cold temperatures over a period of years. Currently, the compressor and/or suspension air bags does not appear to be engaging consistently. I have heard this problem from envoy and trailblazer owners as well. Thank you for looking into this problem.
