Purchased vehicle on 11/1/2011 and notice immediately that the steering was sloppy-thought it needed front end alignment . Installed new tires all way around and had vehicle lined up. Did not correct the problem. The steering is so loose and sloppy that it is hard to control and keep vehicle under control. It wears your arms out because you are constantly having to move steering wheel !!!!! i am told by repair shops that this problem is a design problem with the steering box on 2001 holiday ramblers. It is dangerous to drive this vehicle becauseit is almost impossible to keep it under control. I have talked to several other motorhome owners and they say they can drive their motor home with one hand.(different make and models). You surely can not drive the 2001 holiday rambler one handed-it takes both hands and a prayer. The vehicle darts all over the road and you are constantly having to move steering wheel to correct!!!!!!!!!! what a nightmare!!!!! wish i had never bought this make and model-too late now because too much invested.
