Atv trailer on highway in tow with atv secured. One of 5 ramps suddenly fell off trailer while in motion. Spot welds on ramp pins failed allowing hinge pins to work out and fall upon road and ramp dropping to road. 3 pins appx. 8" long and several pounds dropped to road while in motion and 3'x4' appx. Size ramp dropping to road. Unknown if pins hit or damaged anything as i was traveling.retrieved ramp and two of three pins. Poor welds broke allowing pins to work their way out.upon inspection of pins and hinge body i found spot welds were poorly done and no angle of weld on pins were made-just surface adhesion. Inspection of remaining pins show weld stress and eventually will fail.
