We keep getting airbag service light come on every time we crank the truck.. We have taken it to the dealership 3x now and they have finally found the issue (of course it is out of warranty at this point. But it is the orc sensor that has shorted out. This is a known recall on many other vehicles. But mine has now shorted out with no "current" recall.

From a dead stop or trying to merge in traffic when hitting the accelerator there is a 2 to 3 second hesitation no power at all, then takes off. This is very dangerous afraid this is going to cause an accident. I have noticed a lot of people on the web talking about it, they are calling it a dead pedal. How many people does it take to make this a recall.

The electric fan went out after 1year just over 50,000 miles and it seems it happening on enough vehicles that the fan is on back order. The daytona dodge dealership misdiagnosed radiator and replaced it, and refused to reimburse after it was checked and found to be good. This might have made installing fan easier. I mentioned this in case it's a on going practice.

Front turn signals, driver side headlight, passenger side fog light all went out at the same time. Tested bulbs and all are good. Message on dash said they were out and yes they were.checked grounds all good. Found the big plug under fuse box moved it around and lights came back on. Connectors are very lose in the plug we will we need to change harness?

I have a 2017 ram 3500 with an aisin transmission. The throttle lag in this truck is very dangerous. I really have to be careful when crossing roads or pulling into traffic because the truck hesitates 2-5 seconds after i press on the throttle. This is a very dangerous situation and must be looked into. I have found many, many other people complaining of this problem and how serious it is. Ram will not do anything about it. Please look into before someone is killed, if they havent been already.

I received recall notice (nhtsa 19v-818000) in november, 2019 for defective engine cooling fan which has caused engine fires.it's been nearly one year and replacement parts are still not available.i have contacted my dealership numerous times.this long delay is unreasonable and represents gross negligence.

Later dodge trucks seem to have a built in design flaw wherein torque management programming is preventing the truck from taking off normally, creating seconds of delayed throttle response and very dangerous cross traffic issues commonly referred to on many dodge forums as the dead pedal.repeated efforts with dealer failed although they recognized the issue.

Very slow to respond throttle pedal, its to a point of not safe to pullout in traffic or merge onto a highway. There is 2-4 seconds of idle while pedal is to the floor, then the engine will start to increase rpm at a slow rate of speed. Also the transmission will seem to be in neutral at times when turning into an elevated parking lot or driveway. Apply more throttle and clunks back into gear then will continue to move forward. At times coming to a stop, the transmission will stay in a higher gear or the lockup converter is staying locked up. Trying to stop with typical brake pedal pressure will not stop the truck when this is happening. You really need to apply pedal pressure until it completely stops rolling then it seems to reset or go back to normal. Ram dealers claim its characteristics of the truck and they say that ram star says its normal. A little research online and you will find this to be a major issue. I am looking into lemon law or getting an attorney. $60k truck and its unsafe to drive. Completely unsatisfied with my purchase

After only 57k miles the fuel sensor / fuel pump is malfunctioning. Fuel gauge is not working. I believe not knowing how much fuel is in the truck constitutes a safety issue. This is a common problem with ram trucks as reported 100s of times on line.

My ram 3500 2017 lost shifting in an intersection. It was towed to hermiston chrysler in oregon 9/21/2020. They say warranty requires them to determine the failure of the transmission. Parts were sent to fix it. Now warranty says send pictures. Might send new transmission. I made a 1400 mile trip there this week and came home in another rental. My pickup camper is stranded there.

I was driving in heavy traffic on the freeway and attempting to merge to the right to exit the freeway. When i pressed the gas pedal to the floor to accelerate and merge into traffic, the engine hesitated and there was no power at all for 2-3 seconds.after that short period, the engine accelerated and i was able to safely merge.this sudden failure to accelerate when merging is a hazard because while waiting for power from the engine another car could close the distance and hit me due to the unexpected hesitation.

Fuel leak in engine compartment. Fuel filter housing was replaced due to leakage around fuel heater elements in housing. This is exactly the same problem and same fuel filter housing that brought about ram recall p65. I have contacted ram and filed a report as well as retained the failed part.

While beginning to pull out onto the highway, i noticed a vehicle that appeared to be coming faster than expected, i let off the throttle and then made the decision to continue entering the highway. When i got back on the throttle, there was an approximate 2 second delay where there is absolutely no throttle response. I averted an accident by managing to pull off the road, but this is an extremely dangerous situation. I had the same issue with my 2013 ram 3500 i had previously. To summarize, i would call this a "dead pedal" issue. I can replicate this situation every time by accelerating, letting of the accelerator, and then getting back on the accelerator quickly. Again, there is a roughly 2 second time period where the engine does not respond whatsoever.

Significant and dangerous delay with acceleration response when depressing the acceleration pedal while entering traffic. The hesitation is excessive and it can take greater than 3 seconds for any response.

Extreme shudder on take off only. Replaced transmission..didn't fix it so they replaced entire driveshaft assembly including u-joints and carrier bearing. Still not fixed. Exact same problem. My work truck has been down a month with no fix yet. Going back in again monday. This truck is bankrupt ing me! i'm going to have to close my business. I thought 60 grand for a truck would make it at least 50 thousand miles. I can't do anything.

Merging onto the highway from the feeder, my truck had a delay (2-3 second) in acceleration.

There are two outstanding recalls on the vehicle; vb2, engine cooling fan & w00 shifter cable.i have been talking to dealers & fca about getting the vehicle fixed since august & am told that the parts are not available.the recall notices state that it is unsafe to operate the vehicle, yet the manufacturer is unable to provide parts to make it safe.so i have a vehicle that cannot be used in its current state.

Driving on i-95 in georgia, all 8 of the lug studs on the drivers side dual rear wheels sheared off, causing the outer wheel to shoot past the truck in traffic, while attempting to stop the vehicle.vehicle was moving at a rate of 60 mph when the onset of severe vibration caused me to look for a safe place to pull over, and slow down.thank god the other rear wheel remained on the hub, though completely unsecured.the truck has just 4,500 miles on it.

Rear end of vehicle shakes 40mph plus and gets worse the faster you go. Ram dealer says this is how the truck is suppose to run.

Vehicle is equipped with a g56 mercedes 6 speedmanual transmission. When in 5th gear there is a chatter originating from the transmission amplified by the shift lever. Noise and vibration occurs at any speed and any load (under the fifth wheel or not) while in 5th gear. Gears 1 thru 4 and 6 are quiet as expected.

This is about my dead pedal when letting of the accelerator to merge ect there is like a 2 to 3 second delay in power. I have almost beenhit several times. I do not trust the truck. Seems like a accident waiting to happen.

Occasionally when you step on the clutch to stop the vehicle or change gears, the clutch pedal just goes straight to floor and does not disengage the clutch. Sometimes you have to shut the engine off to stop the vehicle, and sometimes when stopped at a stop sign or red light, the vehicle will not go back into a gear. Also while driving, sometimes you cannot change gears. After the first sign of trouble i checked all of the fluid levels and found that the hydraulic reservoir for the clutch control assembly was low on fluid. I've had to refill this reservoir several times now, which helps the issue of changing gears however the fluid still seems to be leaking out from somewhere, and i'm concerned that it is leaking somewhere internally in the transmission/clutch area.

There is a chassis vibration issue where the entire truck shakes at speeds over 60 mph.the seats shake and the whole truck shakes as if a tire is really out of balance.there is no shake in the steering wheel however, and new tires, and recently balanced tires, have no effect on the issue.it seems to start in the rear of the vehicle.many people on the forums report the same problem and no one has found a fix for it that i know of.dealers just throw new tires and wheels at the problem with no resolution. Check forums like cumminsforum.com and turbo diesel register for the hundreds of threads on the issue.also appears 2500 and 3500s are both effected and have different rear suspension setups.

2017 ram promaster 3500 automatic transmission downshifts on its own coming down mountain grades and forces you to stop on the shoulder because the transmission continues to downshift on its own. Once you are stopped and in first gear you may continue down the mountain till its does it again all the while other automobiles and semis are passing you at high rates of speed. You must come down a mountain in neutral. The only way to stop the downshifting and the rpms shoot up to 4000 rpms, is to shift to neutral or stop and start over again. In snow and ice on steep grades this may cause the vehicle to lose control and slide off the cliff. When the vehicle feels the push of its own weight and begins to accelerate on its own down an incline it may downshift on its own or tapping the brake will make it go into this condition. Therefore there is no braking coming down a mountain.

I have a ram 3500 towing a 15 000 lbs camper with the factory integrated brake controllerwill not stop my camper.less than 30 mph there is very little stopping with the system set on all max settings.i have spoke with ram ,/dealer and was told system is working as designed.there are a lot of people complaining about the same thing all over the web.ram should be made to fix this before somebody gets killed if it has not already happened.there is another complaint on your site saying the same thing

The contact owns a 2017 ram 3500. While driving with a trailer connected, the "trailer brake not connected" message illuminated. The vehicle was taken to pine belt chrysler jeep dodge ram (1400 ocean ave, route-88, lakewood, nj 08701), but the failure could not be duplicated. The vehicle was repaired but repairs were unknown. The manufacturer was contacted and informed the contact that he could not be reimbursed. The vin was not available. The failure mileage was 69,000.

The trailer brake controller have been little to no trailer braking power at low speeds.

The intergrated towing break controller is faulty and will not stop my camper in an emergency situation..

Current owner of this vehicle, victor ciobanas, rolled back odometer twice in the last year, 50000 miles each time, and several times before. I was working on this truck as a driver. Owner said he did it for warranty in dealership. Now odometer shows around 80000 miles, while the real mileage is around 300000 miles. He did it at 8270 s 86th ct., justice, il, "andy's auto electronics", 12 june 2019.

I have a ram 3500 single rear wheel truck with integrated brake controller.it was hooked up to my 10,000# gvw 5th wheel trailer this past weekend and no matter how i set the controller, for either braking strength or trailer selection type, it provides imperceptible braking to the trailer.it nearly pushed me right through an intersection at 25 mph because there was no braking.this occurred on a 35 mph level grade and i was slowed at the time for an approaching red light.truck is rated to tow much more.i disconnected factory unit and put in an aftermarket and it worked exactly as it should, which should rule out both the trailer and truck wiring as it uses the same with just an plug switched from internal brake controller to aftermarket..i have seen many postings about this on the internet and it seems fca has a star case on this as well #s1508000014.i feel this can put any driver in a very bad or deadly situation very quickly.i had both a 2010 and a 2012 ram 3500 trucks with the same controller and towing the same trailers and there were no issues at all.i will be taking this to a dealer in about 2 weeks for testing, but all postings i have seen show no resolution from fca on this problem.i think it is imperative that this gets reviewed before someone gets killed by this.

The contact owns a 2017 ram 3500. While driving 37 mph, the vehicle would not decelerate when the brake pedal was depressed. As a result, the vehicle drove off the road and crashed into a ditch, then the brakes would not work and engine was at max rpm and could not shut engine off. Consumer could not steer back on the road. Truck finally stopped after 5 to 6 times after revving. There were no warning indicators illuminated. The vehicle was towed to an independent mechanic who repaired the front end damage and transmission. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. A police report was filed and there were no injuries. The dealer was not contacted. The cause of the failure was not determined. The failure mileage was 22,000. *dt

Parking brake locked up due the fact that parking brake pads had been completely worn.details:bought vehicle at 100 miles and had always been releasing the parking lever prior to drive and at little over 2,000 miles, parking brake failed and locked up at a parking lot 150 miles away from home.i believed the parking brake system must had been engaged without my knowledge since there had been no warning light on dash.that was why it took over 2000 miles to completely wear down parking brakes to the point at the final pull/engagement, it locked up. Since the vehicle is still brand new and under manufacturer warranty, i had asked dealer to investigate and dealer would not.i had also asked fca to send engineer to investigate the incident and was told ?no?.their reason was it was my fault which is easier for them to do than accept the responsibility.i also asked my extended warranty policy people (which i had purchased) but the extended warranty folks said, the vehicle was brand new so it would be cover under the manufacturer warranty which the extended warranty would not cover until the manufacturer warranty period had expired.since this is a brake issue and i believe this is also a safety issue which i need help escalating to fca to take/accept some responsibility at least to investigate.

The contact owns a 2017 ram 3500. The contact received notification of nhtsa campaign number: 19v021000 (steering). The vehicle was taken to hill-kelly dodge chrysler jeep ram (850-476-9078, located at 6171 pensacola blvd, pensacola, fl 32505). The contact stated that the recall remedy required the part to be cut and then replaced. The manufacturer was made aware of the issue and provided case number: 68186480. The failure mileage was approximately 49,000.

The adjuster on my draglink was loose and the nuts were welded to the adjuster and i was told this was a tempoary repair. Today i contacted ram about a permanent repair for my truck and was informed that weding was a permanent fix. How can you allow this. My front end is no longer adjustable and now i am forced to go to dealer for front end work independent shops do not want the libialty. Welding nuts and cutting them loose weakens the metal are you requiring welding certification for repairs. This repair is not satisfactory please advise thank you

My vehicle is subject to a recall for the steering drag link assembly. The recall states the assembly will be inspected and welded as the repair. There is a replacement part listed on the recall however dealers are not installing the revised part. I contacted fca (chrysler) corporate office about the safety concern with welding steering components. My contact was to receive the revised steering drag link since no credible automotive automotive source approves of welding steering components and that beyond the safety issue the part is no longer adjustable or functional to adjust during routine front end alignments and will require replacement at the owners expense. The response from the executive referrals manager was that i had one choice and that was to bring my truck to a dealer for the stated recall repair and that welding the drag link was approved by their engineers. I stated that the repair was unacceptable and that i would pay for the revised part and the installation through the dealer even though my truck is still covered by the original bumper to bumper warranty. I was informed that neither the replacement part or any other chrysler/mopar part is available for the consumer and they would not assist me in having the dealer install the revised part at my cost. I asked what if i have a aftermarket drag link installed. I was told the recall would not be cleared on my vehicle, i would be responsible for for any defects in the steering components, and that fca would be absolved of any responsibility. Its no secret that fca is rated lowest of any manufacture in customer satisfaction, however this is a major safety concern for the nearly one million recalled vehicles. The truck is not safe to drive and fca is worried about cost not safety. Fca has given the owners no option by refusing to provide updated parts and forbidding the installation of aftermarket parts.

Ram has a recall for the drag link, my dealership has preformed the recall repair which is to weld solid the drag link this is not a proper repair.i would saythis is what a backyard mechanic might do to enter a demo derby not a repair on a new truck under warranty. This item came on the truck as an adjustable part of the steering system and rams fix is to weld this part making it no longer adjustable and the steering can no longer be aligned. My steering wheel is crooked and ram has told me that's to bad we are going to do nothing for you that's rams customer care not the dealer...

Recently, i departed from home in my truck to head out on errands. I found it was difficult to steer. Realizing it felt like a flat front tire, i pulled off the road and found the front right tire was flat. At no time did i receive any warning from the factory installed tire pressure monitoring system. Looking at the tpms, the pressure indicated 14 psi, then later 11 psi. At no time did i receive an audible or visual alarm from the truck.later i had the nearby dealership investigate this, and they reported the system is working as designed, but they can't/won't show me in writing when the alarms are supposed to activate. I have an open case with ram customer care, but the manager continues to point towards the dealership's verbal answer. Another person i know was recently driving towing a heavy rig when another driver pointed out to them that they had a flat tire on the truck. They told me they had not received any warning from the tpms. As you know, the risk of a tire overheating and blowing is what tpms is supposed to help drivers avoid. A tpms that is not warning drivers after about 10-20% loss of pressure is creating a risk for operators and other vehicles and passengers.

Front passanger tire is being ate up at 16000 this has been an on going issue since the vehicle reach 6000 miles, and been nor ram refuses to acknowledge a safety issue with the trucks and will cause a fatal accident. With 16000 these tires should not be wearing like this

Broke shifter on steering column. Shift lock would not disengage when brake was depressed.

V06/nhtsa 19v-021the fix for this recall is not adequate , welding an component that has part its functionally, adjustment and maintainability, rendering it useless , could be considered causing irreparable damage. I believe recalls should not damage a vehicle , but return it as functional as intended.

Multiple times my tailgate has just flipped open on it's own, when parked and hitting the lock button on the key fob, and while driving down the road. There is currently a new recall on ram trucks for this exact problem but the recall excludes trucks with 8' beds. My truck has an 8' bed - and has this problem and should be included in the recall.

My tailgate keeps opening on it's own whenever it wants to.it opens while driving and parked.i transport rvs for a living and if the tailgate falls and i don't realize it, it can damage the unit and i have to pay to fix it, when it is a chrysler known issue.the recall that just came out is for only short beds and i have a long bed.i need this issued resolved under the recall, but cannot because it's supposedly not included in the recall. *dt *dt *dt

The contact owns a 2017 ram 3500. The contact stated that the vehicle was on a hoist, an unknown after market spacer on the spring came out of place and damaged the boot. The independent mechanic repaired the the vehicle. The repairs were unknown. The vehicle was later taken to the dealer (russell westbrook chrysler dodge jeep ram of van nuys 6110 van nuys blvd, van nuys, ca 91401 (818) 646-6908) for nhtsa campaign number:19v021000 (steering). Another dealer (autonation chrysler dodge jeep ram valencia 23820 creekside rd, santa clarita, ca 91355 (661) 379-7709)had repaired the spacer the first time but the contact was again concerned that if the vehicle hit a bump and the spacer came out of place again it could lead to a loss of control and a possible accident. It was unknown if the manufacturer was contacted. The failure mileage was 10,000.

The entire truck shakes at 70mph and above. It feels like the tires are extremely out of balance. The dealer has balanced and road force balanced the tires, but this has not solved the problem.chrysler knows about this problem but is unwilling to fix it.

Rear end of vehicle shakes 40mph plus and gets worse the faster you go. Ram dealer says this is how the truck is suppose to run.

Online research best describes this problem as the dodge "death wobble".when an uneven spot or a pothole in the road is driven through, the front wheels wobble and shimmy violently until the vehicle is stopped.the local dealer as well as a local alignment shop have been unable to determine the problem.

2017 ram 3500 dually 4x4 68rfe, first time truck was taken out on the highway out of town where speed limit was 75. Truck has a very pronounced shake in the rear. This is felt in cab of the truck, but not the steering wheel. Passenger seat shakes back and forth. Like rear is oscillating, and a droning can be heard. It comes and goes in intensity. Happens on all types of road surfaces. Ram field engineer, and regional manager say it is known issue. Taken other trucks out with very minor vibration, and also with no vibration. This was done with service manager to confirm issue. Tires have been changed out, drive shaft changed out with no change. Regional manager says take truck it is normal. No additional repairs will be made. Truck is two months old and has 1700 miles at this point. Got to pull my fifth wheel but very concerned of failure on the road that could be catastrophic, since unknown cause in driveline. Vehicle had a star case, with no resolution to the issue.

The contact owns a 2017 ram 3500. The contact stated thatthe ball joint on the front passenger side damaged the front passenger tire. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic who diagnosed that the ball joint needed to be replaced with a special adjustable ball joint, which would align with thefront end axle to prevent the ball joint from damaging the tire. The dealer and the manufacturer were not notified. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 7,000.

Truck has a vibration/shake at highway speeds. Initially thought it was tires so i replaced. Problem continued and i replaced tires again. Steering and pitman arm came loose and dealer could not find. I showed it to dealer, they tightened it and fought me on alignment. Vibration continued, front bumper sagged and front sonars became intermittent. Dealer fixed bumper twice and said dodge sonars are fair weather and couldn't duplicate. Steering came loose again, dodge fought me on alignment again. Recall came out and welded nuts on steer bar turnbuckle. Contacted ram service and continued trying to get truck fixed. Dealership became "tired of me" and brushed me off with "could not duplicate".new dealership, kept vehicle for 1 week and returned it stating they couldn't hear any problems. When told the problem wasn't audible they politely told me my truck was out front and i could leave. New dealership, tech went for test drive with me so i could show the problem. Acknowledged that it wasn't normal. After 2 weeks i got my truck back with no documented maintenance or invoice. Problem continues. Returned truck. After 6 weeks ram customer service told me that it was ready. Invoice showed mileage in and mileage out the same and that chrysler stated problem as normal. In 6 weeks my truck moved 1 time from 1 parking spot to another. Not enough to change mileage and nothing was done to it. Dealership was short with me when i picked up. Ram service sent my issues to litigation. Was told that truck has too many miles and is normal. Prior to litigation dealership had told me they drove every hd they had and mine was the only one doing this. After sent to litigation i was told that they all drive the same as mine. Currently looking for 5th dealership, still working with ram service case #57185298. No documentation of 2nd alignment given. No documentation for 2 week stay at stanley

While driving truck on cruise control on florida turnpike at 68mph, no potholes or abnormalities in roadway.truck began to shimmy real bad.nursed the truck home and inspected all aspects of front end and tire pressure.pressure was set at 80psi per manufacture recommendation for front tires.took truck to dealership and they advised both front nexen 235/80r17 tires had inner wall separation.the truck has only 5734 miles on it and it is not abused.extremely disappointed that these tires failed and could have been catastrophic if i was hauling my 8000 camper with family inside of it.dealership would no let me photo the tires, they said they were in communication with nexen to get them replaced.

2017 ram 3500 diesel.strong exhaust smell in cab during colder times.the wind is not blowing in the direction where the heat intake can draw the smell in.the smell is very over powering.i have had in the dealership 3 separate times with no luck in them doing anything.they are 'not able to smell it', however each time i start it at the dealership i can smell the exhaust in the cab.the smell continues until the vehicle is at sustained highway speeds.the smell is so bad that the windows must be open.

Bought truck in 10-10-2020 and i still yet to have my license plate. Dealership still hasn't returned my calls. And dmv shows that my vin isn't valid.

A06 drag link recall: planet chrysler, dodge, jeep, ram fiat in flagstaff az pretended to fix the recall however they did not fixed it properly. They never cleaned the drag link first. They put few dabs of welding material on the nuts and sleeve right on top of dirt and did not weld them together like they were suppose to.

I was hauling a 15,000 lb fifth wheel with the cruise control set at about 45mph coming up to the light on hwy. 35 and hwy. 20 intersection northbound in indiana. I tapped my foot on the break to shut my cruise control off like i normally do and put my foot on the throttle to control the acceleration to the light. I realize i wasn't slowing down properly and put my foot on the brake and stood both feet on the break to try to stop to avoid hitting the car in front of me.i ended up hitting the car in front of me even with the truck and trailer brakes applied.the airbags did not go off in either vehicle. Everything went so quickly, didn't know why the truck didn't want to slow down.i have had no problem with the truck or my 2018 truck.i believe the cruise control not shutting off was the cause of the accident.i would like you to come and investigate it to see if that was the issue of the accident. I can't think of anything else that would have caused it.

Both front tires separated.almost caused accident.immediate shutter and bouncing of truck.i was forced to replace them.ended up replacing all six tires due to fear the others would separate.ram need to discontinue placing these tires on their $60 - $70 truck.should a disservice to their customers.

Nexen tire failure at 3452 miles. Tires came on new truck. Driving on interstate hwy, 65 mph, pulling a 14000 lb 5th wheel rv. Front left tire tread separated which caused sidewall to blowout completely. Difficult to maintain control but successful. Examination showed tread was not properly glued to carcass. No personal injuries but there was damage to left main wheel. Lt235/80r-17e tires made by korean company. Tires may not be suitable to that heavy of vehicle.

Nexen roadian htx tires are unsafe. Tire with 17741 miles has "slipped" belt. Front tire was making a "bumping" noise on 1 august; mckinney ram dealer, easley sc, diagnosed left front tire as requiring replacement.

My 2017 ram 3500 6.7l dually with only 18,312 miles on it had a tread separation on a factory nexen roadian rear tire.had another one previously late last year on a factory front tire at 14,412 miles.luckily i discovered both with cupping of the tier and road vibration before catastrophic failure.the factory nexen roadian 10 ply tires on the ram trucks are crap and dangerous and i've read many other complaints about these same factory tires, some with catastrophic results.ram should have recalled and replaced these tires after seeing all the complaints!i use this truck to pull a 34 ft horse trailer with $50,000 horses, but more importantly, my wife is usually out on the road with it alone and it could be catastrophic to have a failure at highway speeds with a heavy trailer.ram is responsible for this poor choice of tires.

Tire failure nexen rodian separation at 11,000 miles. Left front tire blowout on 95 at 65 mph. Right front tire separation causing vibration also. Replaced both tires.

'takata recall'mike complaint is with nexentires, the tires have less than 16,000 miles on them and were noted to be separating i contacted nexen tire who told me to look at the warranty and refunded me a check for $150 for tires and installation for over $450for something that is not my fault.i just found online where nixon tires have had incidents with the same exact tire that i have ,i believe this was an issue they are aware about and failed the consumer.i have exchange the tires for two new mexican tires thinking this might of been an isolated incident but both places from which i got the tires replaced that said that next and tires we're separating and that was the cause of my tire damage but nixon has refused to reimburse me my money please help me

Had a left front tire (nexen roadian at pro 8-factory installed-size:lt 235/80r17) start vibrating and pulling to the right while driving to work on the highway.tire had a total of 17199 miles on them. When unmounted at discount tire, there were tread separation in numerous spots visible inside tire.

The contact owns a 2017 ram 3500. After a traffic stop on the highway, the contact was informed by the state trooper that the front passenger side rim was fractured. The contact could not recall making contact with a curb or a pot hole that would have caused the rim to fracture. The fracture was between 3-6 inches. The rim was still able to contain 70 psi of tire pressure. The vehicle was not taken to be inspected. Friendly dodge chrysler jeep inc (located at 2499 ny-14a, penn yan, ny 14527, (315) 531-8563) was contacted by phone. The contact was informed that the rim was out of warranty. The vehicle was not included in nhtsa campaign number: 17v499000 (wheels). The contact stated that the wheels were original equipment. The manufacturer was also notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 78,000.
