Dt:the contact complained aboutproblems with2003 r-vision, model 27fkss trail bay. The breaker box caught on fire.he was able to extinguish the fire.the breaker box needed to be replaced, and there was smoke damage to the surrounding panel.the fire department inspected the damage.they believed water dripped on the electrical wires causing the fire.the damage has not been repaired. Additionally, the fire extinguisher provided with the vehicle was not the appropriate type.
Trail bay 5th wheel- in getting prepared for a trip, i noticed cracks in the 5th wheel hitch, started looking closer & found there were major cracks in the trailer frame. Took to rv repair shop & had repairs made, major welding. Informed by repair shop that this frame (lippert frame) has had cracking problems on other trailers. The rv shop said i should report this problem.
Trail bay 5th wheel noticed interior front wall is separating from the side walls . Took to rv dealer where it was purchased . Claimed they fixed it but having the same problems.seems to be flex problemin 5th wheel plate. Talked tocurrentmfg. Of r vision and they said the 2003problem is not covered on the2002 recall03v013.
