Metallic contact points for the front turn signal bulb holder integral in the headlamp assemblies corrode or erode rendering the turn signal inoperable.correction requires costly replacement of the entire headlamp assembly.point of failure is inaccessible for photograph. Both left and right front turn signal contactors have failed on subject vehicle with in the past year.the parts in question are not subject to operational movement or wear, and a mandated safety item whose failure may result in a traffic citation by police.
