Consumer states vehicle needs electrical repairs. *yd
Right after turning off the igntion vehicle caught on fire in the dash area. Owner was able to put out the fire. The problem was reported to the dealership.vehicle is being repaired. Also, windshield wiper motor/transmission and wires are being replaced.
Vehicle is experiencing cooling system problems. *yd
Engine fire.
Door ondriver's side did not stay closed because the latching mechanism broke. A rope had to be tied around the door to keep it from opening. Gmc was notified about the problem. Owner was told that part was no longermade, and to try a junk yard. Please provide any further information.

Experineced brake failureanumber of times. Whiledriving approximately 40-50mph consumer applies brakes and vehicle did not stop. Consumer turned the ignition switch off, and let vehicle drift to side of road. Vehicle had to be towed. Please add vin#. Dealers have sprayed thelinkages a number of times because tey were no able to find a problem. In february, 1999, dealer replaced both front axles, and the very next day the same thing happened. Therewere no brakes.
Right rear axle broke, causing loss of control/accident.*aw
The cv joints are worn was having problem with brake every two week change pads wearing out.tt
Recall 94v248000/ motorizedshoulder belts.intermittently, shoulder belt gets stuck in the rail. Dealer did perform recall repairs,but problemhas reoccurred. During recall repair, the belt was greased but shortly after wards it continued to either stop half way or not atall.
Motorized seat belt sticks.
Front exterior door locks, driver and passenger side will not operate normally.also, motorized driver's side shoulder belt operates erratically sometimes will not function at all.
Motorized seat belt sticks on track at temperatures of 30 degrees or less, releases once temp warms up and vehicle is turn on/off.
Passive restraint will move back and forth, won't activate or stick in motion. In dealers (12) times for service.tt

Seat belt retractor lock-up sometime it don't retract back.tt
Shoulder belt retractor locks up intermittently, especially at stable speeds. If vehicle is turned off while retractor is locked up, driver is pinned to seat until retractor self corrects.(appr 15 secs).

Driver's side lap/shoulder retractor broke, vehicle was impacted at 11:00 position,speed 30mph, causing injuries to driver.
