Im not sure whom to talk to? i bought a car from this guy, the picture he sent me wasnt the vechile i bought. I paid him half down 750.00 and found out everything that was wrong with the car. It looks like the vin # has been cut out of the dash, the numbers on the door has been pilled of and put back on but there over lapping, the air bags wires have been cut, the steering wheel wires are hanging out the dash is all cracked, and everything has been taken off the car. It looks nice on the outside. I told him i wanted my money back the next day and told him why? where do i go to have this car looked at because i dont think it is what it says? and i dont want to get in trouble for driving a car that has messed up vin numbers. I told the guy i was taking him to court, and he already spent my money and dont have a dime. And is calling and threaten me he wqants his car or the rest of the money. I dont want the car. I want my money back, could you help me ?

While driving 35 mph - 40 mph vehicle had frontal impact with a tree, and driver's airbag did not deploy, which did not protect the occupant in this accident.cause unknown.
While driving the driver apllied the brakes and the air bag deployed . The air bag cover broke the passenger's arm, and the windshield which caused the driver to hit another vehicle.
Clutch keeps getting stuck in gear ,it will freeze,will not be able to shift,cannot move. Has been to dealer 5 times. First four times dealer did nothing ,fifth time, dealer replaced whole clutch system. Out of warranty. Dealer has also replaced master cylinder due to it not engaging, however this did not help transmission problems, in reverse and second gear, transmission pops out of gear, dealer replaced shift boots and saw that the shift control was binding, there was a mechanical malfunction of the clutch.glove box light stays on, cigarette lighter inoperable, and cassette not functioning properly.vehicle idles rough and almost stalls at times.trunk release broke inside of the decklid.
I have a 94 pontiac firebird 3.4 that is giving me a vats problem.the security light does not blink but the car will not start for anything.
It takes 3 times before i start my car so what is wrong with it?

The car engine caught on fire is the major thing, but also you could always hear noises from the wheels got them inspected twice and the people said nothing was wrong.
Noticed service buletin number 476126 nhtsa item number sb037092 in relation to automobile problem.currently awaiting repair.originally dealership tried to remedy problem by retorquing oil pan bolts.
Oil leak at the oil pan to rail surface due to inadequate oil pan gasket.
Possible engine failure resulted in engine fire. *mjs

When driving in wet conidtions and water splashes underneath vehicle all power steering goes out, steering locks up,engine check gauges die out,causing loss of control.system goes back onin about 5-20 seconds. Vehicle will make loud squeaky noise when gauges goes back on. Dealer has changed serpentine belt4- 5 times, defect is still occurring.

Apparetly a fuel leak in the engine compartment caused a fire, vehicle was a total loss.
I was driving down i-4 when car seem to lose power, so i took next available exit. I shut the ignition off, heard what sounded like a backfire. At that moment of shut off smoke started from under the hood, both sides and then into the inside of my car. I and passerby's tried to extinguish fire but it was to hot and hopeless. Fire dept. Arrived very quickly but the front of my car is cooked. Please help me, the car was running perfectly right to that point! i noticed several other fires. Fuel line leak, caused fire.
Plastic fuel line loom is held in place with a plastic clip secured to throttle linkage cover.when clip pops out due to heat/age ot breakage,plastic loom/plastic pipe comes into contact with hot air injection pipe and melt plastic fuel line.
Rubberized style fuel line failed, causing vehicle to stall. Also engine check light came on.
The fuel lines have been misrouted and contacted the air check valve which burned and damaged other parts.nlm
The consumer had just parked the vehicle when he noticed flames shooting from under the hood. Lifted hood & noticed fluid dripping from hose (hot air hose below fuel line) was in flames. Put the flames out. The engine was burnt .recall 93v199000.
Consumer is having the same problem as the recall #93v199000 on the fuel line dealer say consumer is not under recall purchase car new there are bad gas fumes.
Nhtsa#93-v-199-000:fuel lines on these vehicles may have been misrouted and may contact the "air" check valve. The high temperatures from the "air" check valve could allow it to melt through and damage a fuel line. Consumer has the same problem.however this vehicle was not recalled due to vin.
Ie97060,vehicle had a burned hole in the fuel line, after a dealer inspected the fuel lines and belts and said that there was no problem, which caused a fuel leak and resulted in a fire.please provide further information.

Strong fuel fumes inside passenger compartment when car has been off for non-specific time. Problem comes and goes. Noticable when getting in the car to start and go. Sometimes so strong both windows have to be put down in order to breathe. It goes away once the car is running and aired out. This can happen once in a day, or week, or several weeks, or it can go on all day, then not again for a period of time. Or happen several times in a week.the gas cap is tight and a vacuum sound is released when the cap is loosened. The smell is not obvious outside the car.
Fuel odor comes through heater/air condition vents after fuel filler neck recall replacement.(94v-077) *aw
Gas cap failure in normal use on 1994 pontiac firebird formula (v8 engine ).(1) threaded portion of gas cap, part that threads into the filler tube, became swollen thru normal use (exposure to normal gasoline vapors), to the point where the cap wouold no longer thread properly and seal.(2) since the cap could not be properly threaded into the filler tube, the gas tank lost proper presurization/vacuum and this affected gasoline vapor recovery from the tank and ultimately, while the engine was running, from the vapor canister.gasoline vapors were present in my garage.since the seal was not contacting the filler tube, there might have been some possibility of gasoline spillage in the event of a rollover.(3)replaced the cap, driveability and gas mileage increased.can no longer smell gasoline in my garage.this could be a problem in that the gas cap, made of some sort of plastic is affected by normal gaoline vapors (this would include the methanol additive that is found at most gas stations now-a-days).the plastic swells to the point that the cap is difficult to thread into the fiiller tube, consequently, when hearing the "three clicks", it is a false tightening and the seal does not make contact with the filler tube.since the seal does not make contact, dirt and other contaminates work their way under the seal and further deteriorate it.

Shoulder belts infront andrear of the vehicle were worn out and freyed. Car can not pass state inspection.
Trans. Lock out and noise. Had to be rebuilt at my expense @ 63k mi. Dealer said there was no prob. Abs fails in wet cond. Caused many near acidents. I must brake many times the normal distance to ensure that i can stop

The contact owns a 1994 pontiac firebird.the contact stated that the plastic clip on the hood of the vehicle failed.the clip assists in preventing the fuel lines from making a connection.there are exposed fuel lines located on the top of the engine.the contact referenced nhtsa campaign # 93v199000 (fuel system, gasoline:delivery:hoses, lines/piping, and fittings), but her vin is not included.the contact is aware of the safety risk involved and the possibility of a fire.the dealer has not diagnosed the vehicle.the engine size and fuel system were unknown.the current mileage is 159,000 and failure mileage was 157,000.
My "t-top" car's a pillar collapsed and struck me in the head when i was struck in the leftmost front part of my car ,causing a severe traumatic brain injury which i am slowly recovering from.
T-top flew off on i-95.thankfully did not hit another vehicle which would have been disastrous at that speed.had driven over 40 miles at highway speed since last time top was off, so somehow it unlatched itself.

Driving on a hwy in texas my front driver side tire threw it's tread. This wiped out the front quarter of my car, and left streaks of rubber down the length of the car. A week and a half later a second tire of the same kind had a problem. This tire egged on the tread of the tire. I removed the tire and took it to a dealer who said it was a busted steel belt,but he also went on to say that he could not do anything for me. The next day while sitting in my car the egg busted and separated the tread on this tire similar to the first. Can yall look in to this and tell me what steps i need to take i recovering some of the money that i am putting out to have this damage fixed? thank you for any help and/or information that you can provide.( dot number: tire size: p21560r16 )
