While driving the motorcycle the horn bracket came off.dealer was not willing to replace it.

While driving at night 35-40 mph, the motor lost power with cycle shutting down.the owner was told that one of the lights had blownout which affected the starter, blowing a fuse.this occurred again several times later,but this time due to a fuel pump failing.also, hit a pothole and thekickstand came out while turning left due to spring popping off.* scc *nlm

Consumer statedthat after recallrepairs wereperformed vehicle was in poor condition becausetechnician left some parts out.

While traveling on the highway and without prior warningmotorcycle stalled.the engine has a leak in the lower cylinder,the fuel pump is faulty, the dashboard in the headlight get condensation. The dealer notified has not help problem.

While driving at 40 mph the motor cycle chokes like its not getting any fuel. Took to dealer and they replaced the throttle positioning sensor and reprogrammed computer. Ts

The transmission slipping on a force gear

2000 polaris victory motorcycles, you need to check out these motorcycles they have faulty transmissions on 1999 and 2000 models-transmissions are slipping out of gear going down the highway,downshifting on there own by going from 3rd gear to 2nd gearcausing a major safety concern,these vehicles are unsafe to be on the highwy.polaris industries answer to this problem is for you to buy extended warranty,and have them pay to up-date transmissions, if you do not act on this problem somebody is going to get killed on these motorcycles,i know you have had reports of this problem with the transmissions on the victory motorcycle,we must make polaris industries recall their product to make them safe to be on our highways.

Saturday, sept. 18, 2004 while riding in northern michigan my 2000 v92c polaris victory downshifted from 3rg gear to 2nd gear without any input from me.this problem with the early (1999-2000) bikes has been talked about on many websites on the internet and polaris is well aware of it.polaris has evedentally upgraded some owners motorcycles with parts at no charge.the cost abor for this upgrade has not been covered.polaris should issue a voluntary recall on all models affected.

The transmission on my motorcycle consistently fails to properly shift from 2nd gear to 3rd gear.it goes into what can best be described as a false neutral.more than once it has slipped from 3rd gear into 2nd gear while riding.this is a very unsafe condition, especially on unsure pavement.

The contact owns a 2000 polaris victory v92 motorcycle. While driving and shifting into third gear the transmission shifted into second gear automatically which caused the motorcycle to slow down immediately. The motorcycle was taken to two different dealers who stated that they could not duplicate the failure with the transmission and there were no recalls or warranties. The manufacturer was notified and did not offer any assistance. The failure mileage was 3,000. The current mileage was 7,000.
