The bearing and or seal that holds the rear driveshaft when it comes out of the transmission has failed, causing machine to lose some to most of the transmission fluid.also it will allow contaminates into the transmission greatly reducing the life of the machine.

Service manual and owners manual call for 75 foot lbs of torque for the lug nuts. The studs are 10mm x 1.25 thread pitch. 2 out of 8 studs broke at this torque setting. This torque setting is common to all polaris atvs equipped with the alloy wheels.
