The contact owns a 2015 pacific coachworks tango. The contact stated that the 30 amp land cord had over heated and caught on fire. The contact was able to extinguish the flames with a fire extinguisher. The fire department was not contacted. The contact indicated the 30 amp land cord was plugged into the generator for approximately 6 hours before the failure occurred. The cause of the failure was not determined. The local dealer baydos rv ( 296 sw interstate ave, chehalis, wa 98532) was notified of the failure. The manufacturer was not contacted.the failure mileage was 20,000.
