Open range 5th wheel rv, wires from chassis to front axle electric brakes routed over springs, insulation partially rubbed off due to contact with springs while unit was in transit.on this unit, the wires exit the chassis and then go to the left, or driver's side of the unit (axles) when attached to a tow vehicle.please note, this is a new unit with very few miles on it at this time.wires from chassis to rear axle electric brakes routed over suspension components and are very close to the suspension components. Expect to see contact at that location, too with similar damage possible to insulation of wires.i have pictures of the issue available if they would be of use to nhtsa.when insulation fails i expect a short resulting in failure of brakes in rv unit....updated 10/15/15 updated 8/23/2017
