I recently had air bag light start flashing. I took in to nissan dealer to get checked and they said the "spiral cable" was bad, this is also known as clock spring. Nissan reset and said bring back if occurs again. It did andi took to another shop for second opinion and same result. I agreed to get part to fix the truck. After being told part was on back order no eta on delivery of parts from nissan. After 4 weeks i checked and found out the same dealer has 6 other "spiral cables" on back order.as i stand now, according to nissan my trucks driver side air bag will not deploy if needed, and no eta on parts.

Accident involving right front impact after hitting a ditch. Disabling impact. Vehicle towed. Side airbag deployed.

The contact owns a 2010 nissan titan. The contact was driving 30 mph when the vehicle crashed into another vehicle's rear end and the air bags failed to deploy. The crash caused two individuals to suffer injuries to the neck, back, arm and chest. The police were notified and a police report was on file. The vehicle was towed to a private repair shop. The manufacturer was notified. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure and current mileages were 22,000. The vin was unknown.

My air bag light keeps blinking the whole time my truck is on.

While driving on my property, my 2010 nissan titan's side curtain airbags deployed the vehicle was not in any auto crash it did not roll or anything nothing was hit.

During a road trip from fl to ny, i noticed a faint rattle underneath the truck but didn't think much of it.during that trip, i noticed my tailpipe didn't look like it was positioned properly.it was loose!the muffler to tailpipe mounting flange had completely rusted away from, which is apparently a common problem (reference blogs; titanspot, titantalk, clubtitan). I threw the tailpipe in the bed and kept driving.throughout that weekend, the vehicle operated normally without any issues.on our return trip from ny to fl the vdc off, slip and abs lights suddenly came on with about 100 miles left in the trip.the vehicle would not activate cruise control and 4wd wouldn't engage either.brought truck to the dealership in coral springs, fl for what i thought would be warranty service, considering i had the gold preferred nissan extended warranty.i was informed that exhaust components were not covered, and since the 'non' covered components caused electrical & sensor failures, they wouldn't warranty any of those components either.the heat damaged the plastic conduit, wires in the harness and the abs wheel speed sensors (and associated wiring).not to mention, dangerous exhaust gases can accumulate under the cab & bed of the truck without a proper means of exhaust routing.this is the third titan i have owned. All 3 (2005, 2006, & 2010) have had the exact same failure at that exhaust flange.this vehicle was the only one that experienced corresponding electrical & sensor failures.nissan must admit there is a problem with this flange connection design and materials.it is a poor design (when it fails, exhaust gases are pointed upward at the truck bed and sensitive electrical wiring).for nissan to ignore this defect is unacceptable.a straight connection, or better flange materials would go a long way in rectifying this recurring problem.

They have been making titan ics since 2004 and there have been re calls due to the trailer brake control circuit failing due to bad body control modules. I believe all titan ics need to be re called for this issue. My titan ic will not work with 2 different brake controllers by 2 different manufacturers. Best to not attempt to tow anything that requires a brake control due to this on going problem for any year titan ic. 2 bad for me it is out of warranty by a few months and the re sale value is very low for all nissan due to poor quality.

Clicking noise coming from dash when switching from defrost to vent, then again after vehicle has shut off (last 10-20 seconds worth of "ticking" noise ), has done this since i had purchased it.now there is no heat when heater is turned on, blows cold air. In reading forums, i am not the only one.this needs to be recalled.i saw the voluntary service campaign, but in talking with my nissan dealer, they say this only goes until 72k.kind of convenient when im at 73k.

Whether stationary or moving, the ac blower, defrost, etc won't work as it always runs cold and does not blow any hot air to defrost windows. This is especially problematic when car is foggin up on the inside and the defrost won't blow any hot air. Cabin of truck is especially cold now as it won't blow any hot air. There is a clicking sound when tying to turn the ac/heater control knob, like the blower door is stuck or the motor can't turn the door to let the hot air in.

Takta recalli have recently had many malfunctions with my truck. Shift interlock, ipdm, brakes are locked. Transmission wont shift, no brake lights, stereo does not work, ac system not working properly, back doors don't want to open, air bag light flashes backed truck in drive way. Got out for a few minutes. Got back in to move it and it would not go in gear. Then i noticed all of these other problems

2010 nissan titan pro-4x uncontrollably accelerated without driver input, resulting in a collision. I was driving down an aisle in a parking lot and began to apply the brake to slow down and turn left into a parking stall. Just as my vehicle was about to come to a stop and park, the engine revved (it felt/sounded like full throttle), the tires squealed and launched the vehicle forward resulting in a collision with a vehicle parked in the opposite stall. Because my foot was already on the brake pedal i managed to quickly depress it all the way and at least reduce the severity of the impact. To date, this is the first and only occurrence of a problem associated with vehicle speed control/accelerator.

Manifold cracked and had to be replaced by the dealer.

Exhaust manifold crack causing fumes to enter cab of truck while running.

Exhaust manifolds are obviously a flawed design that causes undue maintenance and pollution.i have had the exhaust manifolds replaced under warranty and they need to be replaced again, approximately six months later.nissan should be held accountable for this poor and unsafe design and be liable for replacement after the emissions warranty lapses.or they should replace the defective manifolds with a design that doesn't causes cracking.

The contact owns a 2010 nissan titan. The contact stated that the hydraulic brakes were exhibiting signs of failure. The contact was concerned that if the hydraulic brakes failed, the emergency brake would be the only brakes left and would not be substantial enough to stop the vehicle. The dealer inspected the vehicle and advised that the failure could not be repaired. The manufacturer advised the contact that the emergency brake was only designed to keep the vehicle secure while in park but not to stop the vehicle if the hydraulic brakes failed. The contact was concerned that the failure could become a severe safety issue. The vehicle was not repaired.the failure and current mileage was 4,000. Updated 2/23/11 the consumer stated the vehicle continues to not stop. The fuel gauge was not reading accurately.

Own a 2010 nissan titan purchased may 2010 from priority nissan in colonial heights, va. The truck as begun to produce a vibration in the front steering traveling through the floor board and under the seats to the center of the vehicle. The vibration is stronger at speeds between 25-40 mph and when braking vibration intensifies. Took to the dealer on 2 dec 2010 and was told that they had to order some parts to place some metal shims between the rear leaf springs and the rear axle. I strongly believe that the source of the problem comes from the drive shaft of the vehicle and expressed my concern and was told that they would place the shims first and go from their. It has been two weeks since my complaint to priority nissan and i am still waiting for the parts to come in and the appointment. I am some what restraint from driving my truck on the highway at fast speeds do to this vibration with the fear of the drive shaft components failing and something breaking off. I found some complaints on mycarstats.com stating that the source of the vibration comes from the propeller shaft u joint and that it should be inspected with the propeller shaft removed and replaced if abnormalities are noticed in the u joint. Some one needs to investigate this matter and have nissan do a recall on the 2010 nissan titan. My truck is only 7 months old and only does city driving. No reason for the truck to be having vibration problems with out punishing the truck on off road driving.

Wheel seal leaking onto rear driver side breaks. Seems to be a issue with this vehicle from postings i have read. Nissan should have a recall to replace since it involves .the brakes getting gear oil on them and not working properly.

While making a left hand turn onto my street i heard a loud popping sound from the right front side of my truck. While driving my truck the following week, the popping sound while turning and then squeaking started to get loud enough as to where people around the truck could hear it.i then took the truck to the dealership only to find that the strut tower bracket had separated from the frame of the pickup. I saw the damage myself and it appeared that the strut bracket was only tack welded in place. My insurance company claim was denied as there is no collision or comprehensive damage. The insurance company has claimed it to be metal fatigue due to faulty frame manufacturing. Nissan consumer affairs is working the issue on one end even though i was told by the service department the district rep said they won't work it because it is out of warranty. It has been 3 weeks now and i am paying for a rental out of my pocket. It seems i am only getting the run around. I don't have the money to fix this truck. :-(i need help with my $45,000 paperweight issue.

The contact owns a 2010 nissan titan. While driving approximately 40 mph, the vehicle began to bounce violently. The contact was able to continue driving. The failure recurred whenever the vehicle was in operation. The vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer three different times for the same failure. The four tires were rebalanced and a shim kit was installed. The failure recurred after the repairs. The manufacturer was made aware of the problem in which there were no resolutions. The approximate failuremileage was 2,400.

Poor defroster performance on drivers side windshieldat all times due to actuator failure. Part cost less than $35.00 shop labor quoted $1,300.00. Few owners can afford the repair. Poor design of actuator

The heater failed to work.on cold frosty mornings, i could not use my front window defroster because it failed to blow hot air.this could cause an accident because a driver cannot see out a frosted window.the water valve that controls movement of hot engine coolant into the heater core needed replaced to work properly.the service technician admitted that he has a to replace many of these electronic water valves.it sounds like there might be a nationwide problem with electronic water valves failing....updated 12/03/15 updated 05/21/18
