Door lock actuators stopped working causing a safety concern cern when needing to quickly exit the vehicle. Cruise control buttons stopped working as well. Vehicle has been clipped and also been involved in a rear end collision where on both occasions, the air bags did not deploy. Very concerning!

My 2007 nissan titan was parked for 2 days , at 5:30 amaugust 12, 2014 i heard the trucks horn sounding offwith just a constant blast . I went out to investigate an notice the wind shieldshattered and my keyless remote would not turn off the horn . I opened drive side door , black dense smoke filled the cab and the center of the dash had a large hole and the temperature inside the cab was intense , but no flames .i sprayeddown the area with my extinguisher ,horn still engaged i disconnected battery.items that were stored in a top compartment of the dash , ended up on the driverside seat tells me that some kind of explosion occurred , not just electrical and the items were not burnt . All wiring , blowers , everything in and around the dash was destroyed ,and still do not knowthe cause .i had to have all replaced .reminder truck not used for two days.

2007 nissan titan air bag did not deploy in frontal crash, estimated $16k in damage, in sept of 2007.

Traveling at approximately 30-35 mph, early morning, dry conditions. I set the cruise control, because i was having severe stomach pain. I leaned my head back and next thing i must have passed out. I awoke after striking a telephone pole on the opposite side of the street. The impact was dead center. The license plate is the exact shape of the pole, infact the sensor is directly behind and under the bumper from the plate. The seatbelt did not lock and the airbags neither one didn't deploy. The cruise was set, and there were no skid marks, so i must have hit the pole going 30-35 mph. The pole is approximately 3' from road. I suffered chest and back injuries, and still recovering. Luckily i'm still alive! the interior looks perfect like it never was wrecked, on the other hand the truck was totaled. The bumpers ends where literally wrapped around the pole. It was a 2007 nissan titan, less than a year old. I do have photos.

I bought a 07 nissan titan in july of 07. Right away i found that the controls on the steering wheel were not working. Including the air bag. I had it fixed right away. Then it happened again in dec 08. I once again had the problem fixed. I was in a head on collision on jan, 23 at 8:30 pm. I was going 45 miles an hour and hit a cement and medal signal pole. The impact was in the center on the truck. My seatbelt did not lock and my air bag did not deploy. When you buy a new car the safety is part of what you are paying for and when it does not work it is very scary.

2007 titan le 4wd, with 72,000 miles.in dec 2018 my right turn signal indicator would flash once and quit while driving but issue is replicated driving or stationary, engine on or off.i had the cruise control engaged and hitting the right turn signal tripped it off, as if i'd tapped the brakes.a week earlier, i started having intermittent issues with my backup sonar warning system then complete failure.later troubleshooting the turn signal issue, i realized when i hit the brake, the right front turn lamp would illuminate while the brake pedal was depressed.i realized if i held or rode the brake pedal, then engaged the right turn signal, the right turn lamps and indicator worked normal, until i released the brake, then the right turn signal lamps would quit. Also noticed that all clearance lamps, tail and stop lamps fluctuated a little in sync with the turn signal operation.i realize i've got an electrical short.checked what i could and could not find the problem and decided to take it to my car repair guys.this morning, when i started it for the trip, i had warning lights on for low tire pressure (flashing, then steady, then flashing), abs (steady) and slp (steady), and said it was in 4wd when the dial was in 2wd.never had that happen before.after 5 miles the 4wd indicator went off and the 2/4wd graphic was back my shop found a melted wire bundle above my exhaust where the tailpipe exits the muffler.they say it looks like a heat shield is either missing or that one should be there.however, the mechanic says it is not safe to drive as several key systems wires pass in that bundle that has indications of excess heat and may have partially melted which could create shorts that could make other vital systems fail, or create a fire hazard.i've seen several other reports of similar issues online.still in the process of diagnosing and repair.

A 7 way trailer plug adapter was plugged upside down into a 2007 nissan titans receptacle socket and it caused the chassis wiring harness, the engine wiring harness and the main wiring harness to all melt down.other electrical components are also probably damaged.it would appear that there was not a properly designed circuit to limit the damage to the electrical system or it malfunctioned.although the vehicle did not catch fire, the plastic coating on the wiring was melted down, the plug adapter was very hot and it potentially could have resulted in a fire if the plug would have been left in long enough.it is suggested that this defect be investigated by nissan.

My ecm has failed twice, once in sept. 2010 and march 2012. I have been getting the run around with by the nissan dealership about the what is wrong with my nissan titan. The truck as quit on me several times once at a red light during on a very busy street and several other times at the grocery store and my home. I have called the customer satisfaction hot line for a resolution and my attempt was unsuccessful. I really need help with this situation this is my only transportation and this issue cannot continue to go on being ignored.

1) my truck brake down on the 91 freeway for lack of gas eventhough the gas gauge registered a quarter tank. Towing cost me over $ 400.002 )the oil gauge register 1/2 full at all times.when the engine light is on indicating it needs oil or after an oil change, the gauge still registers 1/2 full.3) my aircondition works well.the heater malfunctions all the time. Sometimes it heats up sometimes it does not.4) my engine has oil leak..starting june of 2013, whenever i start my engine, i get a lot of blue smoke from the exhaust pipe it last for a several seconds. The more oil in my engine the greater the amount of smoke the less oil the less smoke. I put in a minimum of 2 to 3 quarts of oil weekly in my engine to keep up with the oil consumption.

Column shifter causes damage to wiring harness of the manual modetransmission button. When shifting vehicle into drive, column hits wiring harness, and over time causes wiring to the transmission manual mode button to break. Once this breaks, there is no means to down shift vehicle, causing a hazard especially when traveling roads where there are elevation changes. Was able to determine the cause of the manual mode button failure by researching nissan titan forums (club titan and titan talk). Upon removing steering column shroud immediately noticed chaffing of the wiring harness, and the broken wire. Contacted nissan, nissan was not concerned with this issue due to the age (currently 3 years) of the vehicle.

Door lock actuators stopped working causing a safety concern cern when needing to quickly exit the vehicle. Cruise control buttons stopped working as well. Vehicle has been clipped and also been involved in a rear end collision where on both occasions, the air bags did not deploy. Very concerning!

Electrical issues, clock not keeping time when vehicle is turned off, heater/ a/cintermittently shuts off/ and /or does not work at all. Tire sensors on, windshield wiper sensor flashes on and off. All power to dash has shut off for a few seconds while driving, windows would not roll down when this happened. Smell gasoline strong, filled gas tank and needle was not registering full until driving for several minutes, then went down 1/4 then back to full.

Traveling at 10 mph the vehicle went dead. No brakes, steering. Luckily i was able to run it along a curb to stop it. Due to a crack in the exhaust manifold both o2 sensors had to be replaced as well as the mass air sensor. Running up a bill of $ 1700.00. All due to manufactures poor assembly.

I own a 2007 nissan titan. When i drive the vehicle, the steering wheel feels like it is slipping. It doesn't feel stable even when i am going straight. I'm sure its not the alignment but has to do with the suspension. I have had problems with the steering controls before because last spring during the raining season my vehicle slipped out of control when i was driving straight with the 4 wheel drive on going about 40 mph on the 15 freeway. I felt during that time it was the rain that caused me to slip but after that incident it has gradually gotten worse. I have ask nissan to take a look but they wanted to charge me $130 just for an inspection. My vehicle has not been in any accidents nor any repair was done to the vehicle since i have purchased it. I feel that this is a very big safety issue and that it endangers thelife of my family and also the public.

Transmission cooling lines broke and sprayed transmission fluid all over. Engine would barely transfer power to transmission causing vehicle to barely be driveable. After being towed to dealership, not only the transmission cooling lines needed to be replaced but also the radiator hoses and the high pressure power steering line. Neither of those to my knowledge needed to be fixed when brought in but was told they were cracked or slowly leaking and needed to be replaced. After 2 weeks and 1500 dollars later i finally have my truck back.

Waiting over a month for parts on a recall of gas gauge sender unit. Since it has failed we have been stranded two times. Now we try to keep the tank half full but this is a hassle.

Gas gauge shows incorrect amount of fuel.the nissan people's fix is to keep the gas tank over half full.we received a recall notification about 3 or 4 months ago, but when we took our truck in, we were told we had to receive a appointment from nissan before they could do anything.our letter states "the vehicle could stall, which could create an unsafe condition which could result in a crash."we need to be able to get this fixed.please help us.

The vehicle had not been inspected at the time of the complaint. The current and failure mileages were approximately 63,000.

I drove my nissan out of the driveway, it started slipping, grinding. The transmission fluid check light would not come on at all, ever since i had it. Turns out transmission fluid tank empty. I was on major highway, could go 40 miles an hour, jerked out of gear with traffic behind me. Had tow it to transmission shop and transmission burned out. Faulty transmission light failed to warn me of problems. Nissan owners manual does not instruct you to check transmission fluid. It directs you to dealership. Had no warning light to alert me. Could have gotten killed.

Started smelling gas fumes. Service engine light came on. Took the truck to advance auto to get the codes off of the computer and the tech said it has to do with the engine and that i should take it to the dealer. Dealer says it's the exhaust manifold and it has cracks in it. Would cost about $2000 for parts and labor.

Fuel does not read on instrument panel and it's hard to get gas to go into the tank, it wants to spray back out.

Passenger side door won't open when the temp is cold.the handle comes out but the door won't open.when i finally did get it open, it wouldn't close, the latch would not move to catch the post.i put it in my garage over night, and the problem seemed to be solved, but the next time i left it out, the same thing happened.

With the service brake applied, the transmission is shifted into neutral and the parking brake is fully applied.when the service brake is released, the vehicle rolls backward when parked on a slope, even with the parking brake fully applied.

Rear axle seals leaking causing lubricants to cause the rear brakes to fail.

While driving on flat road under normal road conditions i heard a loud thump from the rear of the truck followed by a several more intermittent thumps. The truck still drove, but with the thumping. Upon inspection i discovered that the cross shaft for the spider gear slipped out and got in between the pinion andring gear causing it to bind. It broke several teeth off of the ring gear, damaged the cross shaft and marred the pinion gear.

Wheel seals leaked and got onto brake pads and two axel seals had to be changed to make truck safe.

Replace passanger side axle seal at 94000 miles. Now i have a driver side axle seal leak at 105000 miles. Seems to be a problem after looking around on the internet.

Passenger side rear axle seal failed.fluid is leaking on the back side of brake shield on to wheel.may be leaking inside the rotor drum on the emergency brake also.4x4oem e-locker on rear differentialoem wheels and tiresdifferential fluid changed twiceoriginal owner

On two separate occasionsthe left and right back axel seal started leaking oil on tothe back brakes and wheels. The seals and back breaks had to be replaced booth times would not pass state inspection because oil soaked break pads breaks had reduced stopping power.

We purchased the nissan titan new in 2007.the first repair for the rear differential (axle bearing was leaking) was on 1/13/2010 34,617 miles.the second repair for the same issue was 3/29/2012 with 79,010 miles.the vehicle has now again been diagnosed with the same rear differential problem at 115,000 miles.this has been a consistent recurring issue every 35 - 40,000 miles and it is now recommended that a full replacement of the rear differential is needed to fully fix the problem.this is a huge problem that nissan needs to address from both a safety perspective should the vehicle lock up and the expensive repairs.

My passenger side rear axle seal is leaking. From what i have read, this is an extremely big problem on nissan titan's. The leak is affecting the following parts:- passenger side rear brake components- passenger side rear tire (sidewall)- entire rear axle assembly.

I noticed a whining nose from 45 to 70 mph. It got real loud ad 60-65 mph. My titan is regularly serviced with differential fluid changes, and all maintenance. The truck has 112,000 miles on it.i was just told that they need to replace the rear differential on the truck, at a cost of $2448 plus tax on a vehicle that is very well maintained and taken care of. No excuse for it, and ridiculous.

I have had both rear axle seals replaced on my nissan titan, they almost didn't cover the driver side because i was 300 miles over my warranty.i just felt since this has happened to both sides, what will keep it from happening again?i want to make sure nissan recognizes this problem and it is in need of a recall to fix it.the worse part is that it leaks axles grease onto the rear brakes causing them not to work.

Right rear axel seal leaking, fluid level really low, if went unnoticed could have caused rear to lock up and cause crash.

Had transmission serviced and about 5000 miles or less later truck started hesitating and finally stopped. Investigated and found transmission fluid and antifreeze under truck. Had towed to nearest ammco station and they diagnosed problem as antifreeze in transmission smelled burned and said a complete re-manufactured transmission was recommended since all of the transmission components had been exposed to the anti-freeze and were burned or overheated.talked with nissan of gastonianc. And they stated they could install a new re-manufacturedtransmission and radiator and external after market transmission fluid cooler for 5,100 dollars with a 12 month 12,000 mile warranty. They said they had a large number of frontier, xterra, and pathfinder problems with the internal transmission cooler inside the radiator failing allowing anti-freeze to leak into the transmission and destroying it. They said they had not seen the same problem with the titans ans armadas. They had a campaign to help owners of the other models but not the titans or armadas. The service manager for nissan of gastonia said they could look at my truck but there would be a diagnose fee if i didn't let them do the work.the service manager at ammco said he would match nissan's offer and give me a 36 month unlimited mileage warranty covering parts and labor, so i went with ammco. The service manager at ammco stated he had numerous titan and armada vehicles come into his shop as well as the other models with the same problem. The internal trans/cooler lets anti-freeze leak into the transmission and it fries them. I just had my transmission serviced and the radiator flushed and filled. My 2007 titan only has 65000 miles on it, and if nissan knew they were having problems they could have warned me and i would have had the radiator changed out. This is really bad business in my opinion.

Rear differential axle seals are bad and leaking rear differential fluid on emergency and rear brake pads.

Nissan titan '07 power train:axle assembly:axle shaft:seal.

Could have gotten killed.

The rear axle seals on my 2007 nissan titan continue to leak gear oil. I have replaced the seals three times including purchasing and replacing the entire axle shaft, seal and spacer assembly on the third time. These were 2 axle shaft assemblies which cost me over $1000. I have also installed a breather tube on the rear axle and insured it is allowing air to get in and vent the rear axle. It's been a few months after installation and the seals are leaking again. My rear brakes and parking brake are soaked with oil and the parking brake no longer holds the truck in place when parked on a incline/decline.

The rear axle seals leak and the rear differential fluid is all over the brakes. This needs to be recalled as it is a known defect with this vehicle and has been reported many times.

Rear axle seal leaked on drivers side at 66,000 miles.gear oil all over brakes which is a major safety concern.no modifications - truck is full stock.nissan dealer database reveals this issue happened also at 29,000 miles and entire rfd was replaced under warranty for previous owner.now happens again at 66,000 miles.i am told there is a tsb for this issue, but since vehicle is out of warranty(6,000 miles ago) that this is my problem.dealer told me that this problem could very well have been going on without my notice for longer than 6,000 miles.a little research reveals this to be a very common problem with these trucks.nissan needs to acknowledge that they have a faulty design in the rfd, and they need to step up and issue a recall for this issue due to it being a major safety concern!

The rear axle seals leaked all over my rear brakes on my truck.rear axle seals, bearings all had to be replaced.

My 2007 nissan titan le 4x4 has experienced (3) rear axle shaft seal failures in addition to (3) front axle shaft seal failures all within about 20,000 miles of each other.the rear axle seal failures are a safety concern to me.the differential fluid leaks directly onto the rear brake rotors which causes a reduction in braking ability.it is clear after some research that this is a very common issue with multiple model year nissan titan trucks.nissan should address this issue and offer a permanent solution so we would not be faced with this safety issue in the future.my first rear axle shaft seal failure occurred at 56,672 miles on 6/9/14.i had another fail at 62,930 on 11/4/14.the third on 8/23/15 at 75,000 miles.the front axle shaft seal failures occurred at 53,139 on 3/20/14, again in october 2014 (mileage not available), and then at 65,105 miles on 1/21/15.btw, i have tried submitting this twice before and gotten errors so i apologize if this has actually worked all 3 times.

Rear axle seal like on 2007 nissan titan.

With the service brake applied, the transmission is shifted into neutral and the parking brake is fully applied.when the service brake is released, the vehicle rolls backward when parked on a slope, even with the parking brake fully applied.

Rear axle seal has a leak. This leak is caused to incredibly poor ventilation of the rear differential. The check valve allows water into the case and does not allow for proper ventilation. This, in turn, causes overheating and seals to fail. This repair has happened on this truck for the second time now, with no acknowledgement form the manufacturer.

Yet another titan with leaking rear seals. If it leaks enough the brakes get covered in diff fluid and the rear end blow up.

At around 60,000 miles both my rear seals and pinion seal blew due to a bad air valve or inferer seals, causeing the rear brakes to prematurly fail, due to the oil that had been spilling on to them, this should not have accured on a vehicle with minamal miles and no towing or hauling ...

At 1400 rpm there is a very distinctive rattle from under the truck. Upon throttle up in gear, you can hear a exhaust/manifold leak. After research, it is discovered there is a recall that the mfr is to repair. The recall extends to 8year 80k mi. Please advise on the course of action to resolve.thank you.

Front differential of 4wd failed. Factory defect that nissan refused to stand behind. Axle became unclipped without any abuse or impact. Undetected could result in seizure and fatal accident. Updated 02/14/11

Rear axle seals leaking all over break shoes (could cause fire) failed seals groved out axles. Need to replace seals and axles.

Was driving down the road at 50mph went to slow down and there where no brakes so finally i pulled i've and looked around and oil was dripping out of the axle housing almost a bad situation. Come to find out on the nissan titan talk forum there are many many more of these like mine this should defiantly be a recalled item very dangerous.

I recently bought a 2007 nissan titan and i love the truck.i was driving along and i started smelling brakes burning, i pulled over and my rear passenger wheel was smoking.i looked on the back side and rear end dope was on the back of my wheel.the wheel seal has went out.come to find out looks like the rear differential has been sealed up before.so, its a problem with the nissan titan rear end seals and differential seal.it creates a safety hazard getting on the brakes.the wheel could catch on fire.

This is now my 5th replacement axle seal and or bearing, i cant believe nissan hasn't been made to correct this ongoing issue, yes they replaced the first one but it has been mine to replace ever since.

I recently had my valve body replaced in my trans, i was driving to san diego on the 5 southbound and when i was merging on to the freeway from an on ramp and as i applied the gas pedal the truck did not move. I looked under at the drive shaft, while in gear the truck's drive shaft was spinning and making a screeching noise.

Axel seals started leaking in 2010,the truck was taken to the dealership for repair cost was approximately 1000 dollars may of 2012 was told axel seals where leaking again and they have not been fixed.

Right rear axle seal failure. Dealer replaced the axle seal. Right rear axle seal failed again 1/18/2010. Dealer replaced the axle seal again. These failures pose a quite real safety hazard as if the lubricant leaks into the brakes they would fail!

Noticed black grease/oil on right rear rim. Dealer diagnosed as right rear axel seal leaking. Dealer replaced right rear axle shaft, bearing and seal, covered under power train warranty.2007 titan se 4x4 with off road package. 29,500 miles.

My rear differential has failed under normal operating conditions, almost causing me to wreck.apparently, this is not a new issue with these trucks.i was driving 50mph when the rear end made a pop and i lost the ability to drive.

Right rear axle seal failure. Second failure within a 90 day period. Seal replaced by dealer again. These seal failures pose a very real safety hazard if the lubricant reaches the brakes. They will fail!

Rear differential is leaking oil on passenger and driver sides. The oil leak has the potential to deteriorate my brakes and cause an accident.

One rear axle already leaked and we had to repair it.now the other rear seal is leaking and we have to replace it.also the shocks are bad.

Driving along below highway speed in 4 wheel drive on a steep uphill on snowy road. I lost 4 wheel drive and caused the rear wheels to start spinning and sending the vehicle side ways. Recovered by letting off gas. Look under truck to find the driver side axle out of the transfer case. Come to find out this is a huge issue from manufacturer from 04-07. Somebody need to get seriously hurt for action on this matter?

Rear axle seal leaking, again.same seal was replaced 2yrs ago.could be safety hazard if rear axle fluid gets on brake rotor.

2007 nissan titan rear axle seals leaking onto rear discs causing vehicle to inadequately brake.

Power train went needed to be replaced. Only 27,000 miles on car. Seals needed to be replaced after new power trained installed.

No events leading up to failure, was driving down the road heard a pop, when making a hard left turn.went to the shop, turned in again, hard right, loud pop come from rear end.put truck on lift in shop, drained diff fluid, gear pieces came out.advised dealer in the morning, was told not to bring it in, they would check with nissan to see if it would be replaced under goodwill.was denied on 11/16/2007.

Had to have a new rear axle put in my 07 nissan titan with only 4,500 miles on it. Truck would click and pop when i would take off in forward or reverse.

Nissan titan '07 power train:axle assembly:axle shaft:seal.

Rear differential falilure on a 2007 nissan titan.

2007 nissan titan driver side rear axle seal leaking.took to dealership and stated it will be fixed under warranty.seems to be a common problem for both sides in the vehicle along with rear differential failure.

I noticed a popping in the rear end everytime i changed gears. I took it to my dealer and they ordered me a new rear end, and replaced it.

2007 nissan titan rear differential failed.i noticed a thunk when coming to a stop or starting up from a stop.upon deceleration there would be a thunk thunk thunk. Tempo would increase or decrease in relation to speed.i turned a corner, felt and heard a very significant clunk/bang, felt like i rolled over a boulder, as i proceeded for another 50 yds, the thunk was hard enough to feel through the vehicle and loud enough to hear from outside the vehicle as evidenced by the stares i got as i came to a stop.towed it to sheehy nissan in manassas, va, they confirmed it was the rear diff and replaced it under warranty.mileage was 42,828.

Right rear axle seal leaking onto rear brakes in 2007 nissan titan causing poor braking.

Both rear end axle seals went bad causing oil to leak over rear brakes which lead to brake failure. Complete rear end had to be replaced.

Rear axle seals leaking on 2007 nissan titan pickup. Rear axle grease was leaking onto wheel and rear brake disk... Potentially causing a failure of the brakes to stop adequately, had i not found the leak as quickly as i did. I understand that this is a frequent failure on the nissan titan. Here is one link to a forum that is tracking axle seal failures among its members: http://www.titantalk.com/forums/titan-engine-transmission-drivetrain/42837-rear-axle-seals-leaks-please-report.html.

Rear axle seal leaking.replaced at 30k miles under warranty leaking again at 67kno warranty coverage 2k repair.

My rear axle seals are leaking and have been for some time. I had them replaced and need them replaced again. They leak all over my rear brakes and i am concerned that this could lead to a potential dangerous situation.

Bought a used 2007 nissan titan 4d 4x4 on 21 june 2011. After driving it for a day, noticed fluid leak around brake and wheel area next to axle on rear driver's side. Took to nissan dealership who said that it was the axle seal, and both actually needed to be replaced. Have never used vehicle in 4x4 or to tow. Very concerned due to the possibility of the differential locking up at high speeds or towing something and causing an accident. It leaking on the brakes is also has my concern. Hope this can be fixed by nissan.

2007 nissan titan le, complete rear end failure in the middle of an intersection with an 18' bass boat in tow.i had to be drug about 100 yards to a safe area to get the truck and boat disconnected, ruined a new set of rear tires as the rear end was locked up.truck currently in shop for new rear end/ hopefully root cause of failure.luckily no one was hurt.

Had informed nissan two months after purchase at 1700 miles,of loud "clunk" noise in rear axle when traveling over bumps or potholes as well as tightness and noise from the steering column. Nissan stated nothing was wrong with the rear but replaced a defective rack and pinion assembly.during a routine oil change at 34000 miles the differential was found to be leaking from both rear axle seals and the pinion seal.nissan dealership verified the problem on 6/11/10, replaced both rear axle shaft assemblies, and replaced the pinion seal.

1. Clunking noise on slight takeoff in drive or reverse, driveline vibration at highway speeds, excessive slop or play in the drivetrain.2. If the diff had failed completely, could seize locking the rear wheels, could cause you to lose power to drive wheels while merging3. Entire rear axle assembly and driveshaft replaced.

Vehicle bought brand new and after 3500 miles continual clicking noise from drivetrain, took to dealer and had for 2 weeks and got it back and started doing it again within a day.took back in and dealer said it was the rear differential and replaced entire rear axle at 9230 miles.

On two separate occasionsthe left and right back axel seal started leaking oil on tothe back brakes and wheels. The seals and back breaks had to be replaced booth times would not pass state inspection because oil soaked break pads breaks had reduced stopping power.

Rear differential is leaking oil on passenger and driver sides. The oil leak has the potential to deteriorate my brakes and cause an accident.

Wheel seals leaked and got onto brake pads and two axel seals had to be changed to make truck safe.

Driving my 2007 nissan truck down residential road approaching a stop sign when the brake light came on.i tried to stop at the stop sign and my brake pedal went straight to the floor and grinding noise came on similar to sound of abs brakes when activated.i had no stopping power and went through the stop sign.luckily there was no other vehicles coming as my wife and children were with me.this is definitely a serious safety concern and near miss.i've researched this when i got home and found 1,000 of other similar cases.when will the nhtsa take action and have nissan fix the delta stroke sensor on these vehicles before someone gets killed?

Metal brake line rupture and complete brake failure. The rear metal brake line crossover from the passenger side to the driver side that is attached to the rear axle just above the jackpot cover ruptured. Brake pedal went to the floor each time it was pressed without hesitation and had no braking control at all. Brake fluid was everywhere under the truck, on the drive wheels, and on the pavement causing its own hazardous condition along with no brakes. Fortunately this happened in my driveway and not while i tow my 10,000lb trailer down the highway. That would not have ended pretty.

My passenger side rear axle seal is leaking. From what i have read, this is an extremely big problem on nissan titan's. The leak is affecting the following parts:- passenger side rear brake components- passenger side rear tire (sidewall)- entire rear axle assembly.

2007 nissan titan needed all 4 rotors and brakes replaced at 20k miles.not covered under warranty due to age.on occasion, would feel slight wobble during braking from highway speeds, but nothing too bad.then one day last week the front right brake started producing a horrible metal on metal sound, even when not braking.in my opinion there is absolutely no way that a truck with 20k light use miles should need to have all four rotors replaced.

I have an 2007 nissan titan se, and was having issues with the power steering.the engine would make a moaning or whining noise at start up and while idling near the power steering area. This went on for a couple of days.i noticed that the fluid in the reservoir was overflowing so i took it to my mechanic and he informed me that the pump is shot ad needs replaced.i tried numerous times to contact nissan in regards to the power train warranty to no avail.i would like to know what can be done to find out if its covered, recall etc. My truck has just under 45,000 miles.

I took vehicle to deal for unrelated issue and dealer notified me of a power steering hose leak at the joint, (2007 nissan titan)dealer stated it needed changed and would cost approx. $400.00. This system is sealed, non wearable item with obvious manufacturing defect. Nissan is not being responsible for their product/design quality. On-line search revealed multiple complaints for this issue. Please investigate the manufacturing/design of the power steering system for leaks. A failure of the system could result in serious injury or death.

My nissan titan shakes at the speed of 45 to 55 mph. It's been to the shop several times, they say it is the characteristics of the nissan titan, no accidents , nothing, just shaking!

Front axels make noise

I drove my nissan out of the driveway, it started slipping, grinding. The transmission fluid check light would not come on at all, ever since i had it. Turns out transmission fluid tank empty. I was on major highway, could go 40 miles an hour, jerked out of gear with traffic behind me. Had tow it to transmission shop and transmission burned out. Faulty transmission light failed to warn me of problems. Nissan owners manual does not instruct you to check transmission fluid. It directs you to dealership. Had no warning light to alert me. Could have gotten killed.

The truck has started to shake very badly when i apply the brakes. Sometimes i have to struggle to keep it straight when braking.very concerned that i will be in an accident due to this issue. I have contacted nissan and said it was my problem to deal with since my truck is out of warranty. This is known as "brake judder" to titan owners. I have researched this issue and found numerous titans with this issue.

The contact owns a 2007 nissan titan. The contact stated that the rear driver's side wheel was detaching from its axle. The vehicle was towed to the contact's home and the axle was taken to hill nissan (6401 cypress gardens blvd, winter haven, fl 33884, (866) 734-8595). The dealer diagnosed the fractured axle and ordered a new axle. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 260,000.

The contact owns 2007 nissan titan. The contact stated that while driving 30 mph, the fluid from the axle leaked onto the rear brakes. While driving on the interstate, the tire pressure monitor light flashes continually then stays on.it then goes out after a while.then it flashes for about 20 seconds and stays on.the cycle is repeated through out any long distance trip while driving at speed limit in any season, any time of day, month or year.the dealer's service department usually clears codes it finds and tells me not to worry,it will be fine nothing is wrong with the tpms.they have told me this twice already.

Airbag light flashing, horn wont work, cruise control all stoppedworking

The air conditioning actuators for cold/hot and vent or defrost both click non stop.this is a problem in a lot of nissan vehicles, per blogs and you tube etc. Not only in the titan but in many other nissan vehicles.

Flange connecting tailpipe to muffler rusted through, allowing the tailpipe to break free and dangle from undercarriage of vehicle.others have reported that similar failures have resulted in heat damage from exhaust to the wiring harness that runs in close proximity to the muffler.this damage to the wiring has resulted in loss of abs braking and traction control.while it may be expected that the exhaust system will rust, the placement of the wiring harness in such close proximity and the risk of serious damage to it when/if the exhaust fails is poor design that should be remedied.

Door lock actuators stopped working causing a safety concern cern when needing to quickly exit the vehicle. Cruise control buttons stopped working as well. Vehicle has been clipped and also been involved in a rear end collision where on both occasions, the air bags did not deploy. Very concerning!

-the contact stated that while driving the 2007 nissan titanwith 8,000 failure mileage at 65 mph on cruise control, and attempting to pass another vehicle the contact pressed on the acceleration pedal.at which point the vehicle accelerated at a higher rate of speed than expected.the contact pressed on the brake to get the vehicle to slow down, but nothing happened.the contact had to pull the vehicle onto the side of the road, turned off the cruise control manually, put the vehicle in neutral and hit the brakes to regain control.the vehicle was revving and sounded rough after the contact turned off and restarted the vehicle.the vehicle was taken to the dealership and the throttle chamber was replaced.the vehicle experienced the same failure three times after the repair.update *4/23/07

The contact owns a 2007 nissan titan. The contact stated that the driver side sun visor would continuously drop down, obstructing the contacts view of the roadway. The vehicle was not inspected by a dealer or repaired. The failure mileage was 57,000.

Sun visor failure - visor is no longer staying put and is a safety hazard as it falls into drivers line of vision randomly.

On two separate occasionsthe left and right back axel seal started leaking oil on tothe back brakes and wheels. The seals and back breaks had to be replaced booth times would not pass state inspection because oil soaked break pads breaks had reduced stopping power.

My passenger side rear axle seal is leaking. From what i have read, this is an extremely big problem on nissan titan's. The leak is affecting the following parts:- passenger side rear brake components- passenger side rear tire (sidewall)- entire rear axle assembly.
