I had a accident driving down a busy highway and i was struck from behind forcing my car into the car in front of me. The air bag never imploded.

Passenger air-bag has shut off and air bag trouble light began flashing (even when passenger is above the normal shut-off weight).technicians were able to reset the warning light, but it comes back on hours/days later with no obvious trigger.no accident has ever occurred in this vehicle.service tech and nissan corporate have pointed the blame to the passenger seat, with replacement cost at a prohibitive $3,000+.

My daughter had an accident yesterday and she hit someone on the front drivers side.the impact was on the front drivers side and the front fender and other parts of the front bumper.the disturbing part of this is that the airbag did not deploy.the policeman and tow truck driver were very concerned that the airbag did not employ.she could have been seriously injured.she appears to be sore at this point.

The contact owned a 2007 nissan sentra. While driving approximately 30 mph, the front passenger wheel flipped sideways and caused the contact to lose control of the vehicle. The contact's vehicle crashed into the rear of a parked vehicle. The air bags did not deploy. There were no warning indicators illuminated. A police report was filed. I was driving down the road & someone pulled out in front of me so i had to hit my brakes when i did my seat belt locked then the airbag light came on flashing. As of today it's still on & flashingm

Takata recall i was driving around on october 21, 2017 came to a stop and when i went to pull off on a city street hit a dip in the road and the driver and passenger airbags deployed

Driver air bag light came on while driving and won't go off.even when reset it returns.went to dealer and they confirmed that there was something wrong but didn't think it was a recall, and would charge close to $1000 to troubleshoot and fix.

My car was involved in a rear end accident april 2, 2015 while stopped at red stop arrow lightand a front end accident 10-20-2015 while stopped in left turning lane and no airbags deployed. Safety issue --airbags should have deployed.see also odi 10706098.*dsy ..updated 12/11/17

The contact owns a 2007 nissan sentra. While closing the front driver's side door, the front driver's side and seat air bags deployed without warning or an impact occurring. There were no warning indicators illuminated. There were no injuries. The contact called interstate nissan (located at 8890 peach st, erie, pa 16509, (814) 860-8377) and was informed to have the vehicle towed to their facility for diagnostic testing. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. Therefore, i cannot file an insurance claim for this problem.'parts of this document have been redacted to protect personally identifiable information pursuant to the freedom of information act (foia), 5 u.s.c. 552(b)(6).'

My 2007 nissan sentra caught on fire while i was driving on the highway. No warning lights came on, no noise, just stalled and i was not able to pull off the road. Car was a total loss. I had taken it in to the dealer for 2 recalls (brake master cylinder and airbags) last year, but was told my car cleared both.

I was about going for a meeting but when i started the car, the air bag light started flashing. I wasn't into any accident. I went to a nissan dealer on 10/16/2012 to know what causes the air bag light to be flashing when there was no accident involved. They ran their test and told me that the cause of the flashing was {rh side air bag module defective}. They refused to fix it and inturn gave me a repair quote of about $1300 to fix the problem. I told them the problem was from nissan and not me. Since i didn't have that amount to repair the car air bag.in november 2014 i met a friend that drives the same car, model, & year with the same air bag light flashing. I asked if he got into any accident, he says no that the air bag light just started flashing on one of the days when he was going to work. On 11/07/2014, i called nissan usa and told them about the issue. The customer service rep told me to fax the diagnostic and evidence that am the owner of the car to them with the fax #and the case # she gave me that they will investigate and if the problem is from them, they will fix the car for free. I faxed the required document and never heard from them again. After waiting for a month, i decided to call and check the status of my case. It happens that every time i called the rep and the supervisor are giving me different and conflicting information. Till now that am writing this, nissan have refused to fixed the problem the cause. I will appreciate if someone can look into this matter.thanks, sew

My nissan sentra 200 airbag light is on, yet dealer refused to fix safety issue, advising me to seek contact nissan manufacturer, at 0745am. Personnel was blatantly unfriendly and rude, while taking down my keys and paper work - customer details, i.e., bypassed to the next customer behind me in the queue. Personnel ordered me to "remove my stuff, demanding my insurance and credit card," before even letting me know what to expect, as the "other" jumped into vehicle, trying to drive to repair shop. The lack of courtesy and respect to me as a customer, accorded to others, was not an issue, i just wanted to the safety issue in the manufactured vehicle addressed. She also blatantly declared that since my airbag was "blinking," i was "not to expect recall list service." while in the restroom, inside building, was ushered to a seat within 5 minutes, and same rude personnel handed me back my key, credit card and insurance card. The manager was also within earshot, and did also ask, that my "customer number" be written down, after letting them know that i was disappointed, since others behind queue were made to wait, receiving service. I honestly invested in the vehicle, thus is seeking your help, to have nissan fulfill obligation to me as a customer.

Sometime in april 2019 all of a sudden all the buttons switches in the steering wheel including cruise control; radio volume radio stations; the horn all stopped working without notice, also the air bag light began flashing. I asked the mechanic about that and he saidlot if nissans have that problem. He said i might need to get the combination switch?

Air bag indicator light came on. Took to dealership to have checked out. After they had the vehicle all day, and after several calls to the service department to find out status, they finally told me the air bag deflated. That was the passenger airbag and was told because that didn't work, none of the air bags would work. Said that was normal. Sometimes they just do that. Explain to me how air bags deflate from no accident after 5 years. Tried to resolve with nissan, was told nothing they could do. Out of warranty.

The contact owns a 2007 nissan sentra. The contact stated while driving 12 mph into a parking lot, the drivers seat, air bag and the curtain air bag deployed without warning. The vehicle was taken to a dealer, but was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 84,000.

The passenger airbag light is on in the car. The passenger airbag off sign is on, there is some kind of fault with the airbag system or fault. I spoke to dealer about any recalls, they said they didn't have any and it was going to cost 100's of dollars just to diagnose what was going on. I think this is very unsafe and a safety issue and dealer should be responsible to fix.

I started my car to go to work and air bag light came on flashing.it has been on ever since.now my passenger air bag stays off no matter if someone is in the seat or not?i worry about passengers now so no one can drive with me.

My tire pressure light is lit up on the dashboard. I was parked when i first noticed the light on. After noticing, i then proceeded to make sure all four tires had correct amount of air and to and to turn off car and back on to reset. After doing so the light has continued to remain on. Also my passenger airbag has been flashing on and off while care is in start mode. I am unsure the cause of it. My vehicle also cut off while stopped at a traffic light a few week ago.unsure if the problems were related.

My wife was involved in an accident last night in our 2007 nissan sentra, she rearended the car in front of her that stopped short, she slammed on the brakes when it happened and there was no response(the car didn't slow down at all) and the air bags did not go off, she hit the car in front of her between 30-40 mph, and she hit her head on the steering wheel, luckily there was no severe injuries, but in contacting nissan they didn't seem to care to much(expected that they aren't going to take any blame) but when i contacted the dealership they told me the car needs to be checked out to see why this happened.

Problem is cvt transmission. Transmission main seal leak. Whine, to loss in acceleration and power. At certain speed. Cvt internal belt flapping. Resulted in full shut down of vehicle while on highway. Caused speed control sensor and throttle body sensor to go out which started minor electrical fire in the engine compartment which could have resulted in great bodily injury and possibly hurting others if accident would have and very much could resulted in for sure. Multiple times to mechanic resulting in stress and out of pocket expensive currently with a mechanic now. Nissan cvt transmission...

2007 nissan sentra caught fire while on the highway. Consumer stated that she just recently received a recall for a brake fluid leak. She would like to know if there is anything that could be done and if this is what caused it to catch fire.

My son bought a 2007 nissan sentra s on july 27, 2007. This vehicle has broke down on 08/03/07, 08/07/07, 08/10/00 and as of today it is still at a nissan dealer. The problem with this vehicle is that three times the while driving along for no reason it the car speed drops to 5 mph. The first time it happened was at development and noother traffic. When this happened the car would only go 5 mph. No faster. The second time this happened my son had two clients in the car and was able to get off the highway. The third time this happened my son and i were returning home. We were traveling up a two lane road with many vehicles going both ways, as we got half way up the hill this happened again. We had no place to pull off and almost go hit from behind. Thank god the driver was able to get around us. We had to put the 4 ways on and was only able to go 5 mph to the top of the hill. Still with no place to pull off the road i told my son to drift the car down the hill into our home town. My son drives this car on interstate highways every day to go to work if this happens on that highway while everyone is going 65 mphhe is not going to time to get off the road. I have contacted nissan and complained and they told me they will fix the problem that was the second time it broke down. I fellthis caris unsafe to be on any highway.

On two occasions while making right turns, the engine failed to operate. The first occurrence, the engine restarted and appeared to operate normally. The second occurrence, the engine failed to restart and the vehicle was towed to nissan maintenance where it was determined that the battery was leaking acid, which was ingested in to the air intake, destroying the air filter and causing severe contamination of the spark plugs and fuel injector system, as well as corrosive damage to the framing. Had this engine failed on the freeway, it would have jeopardized the lives of the occupants. Action is being addressed with the battery manufacturer, but this report is implemented to address the poor design of the vehicle which placed the battery above the air intake, without provisions for containment in the event of such an acid leak. (photos available).

The car ran fine, until one day the electrical system seemed to die (all the lights on the dash illuminated) and the car seemed to lock itself up. The power steering stopped functioning and made it hard to drive. After pulling over to restart it, it would not. At first i thought it may be the battery, but when i took it to the dealer they were unable to figure out the exact problem. It's been nearly a week since the problem started and no resolution yet. I chose to report this because when the car began to malfunction it became very unsafe to operate. Since i was in a fairly residential area it wasn't hard for me to pull over and get help, but had i been on a major roadway i could see this problem being potentially disastrous. I also feel that this problem needs to be more closely looked at since the technicians were not able to accurately identify the problem because it had yet to be seen until i brought my car in.

I had taken it in to the dealer for 2 recalls (brake master cylinder and airbags) last year, but was told my car cleared both.

On february 9, 2015 i was driving my nissan sentra and everything stopped (all power)i thought it was the battery so i got a jump it started and i drove to the store.when i stopped at a store the car was dead again.after some investigation i realized the battery terminal on the positive side was not staying on the battery so therefore the power in the car could stop at any time.i researched online to see if this problem has happen with any other nissan sentras, and found it had so i called nissan corporate office.i was told that the recalls for the car i have did not include the battery terminal.my concern is that if this exact problem was an issue reported and recalls done for other sentras is it possible the same could be for my car.i think this very dangerous and nissan should repair the car.

My car transmission is under warranty but dealership would not fix it, they say purple fluid is not nissan certified but i have proof that transmission fluid was never changed, it seems coolant has contaminated the transmission fluid.

Car was in motion when it begun sputtering and shaking as i accelerated. I drove back home, about 5 minutes, and opened the hood. Car was on and parked for the visual inspection. My partner put the car in reverse to see if i could see what could be causing the problem. The motor shook when it was put in reverse. Immediately something near the fuel lines started to emit smoke. It looked like aluminum foil. The car had a half tank of gas and gauges seemed normal. I turned off the car and went inside the house to get my tools. When i came out, the car was engulfed in flames coming from the motor. 9-1-1 was called and firefighters put out the fire in about 30 minutes. The fire spread rapidly and the car was destroyed when the fire was finally extinguished.

Front struts leaking, passenger window sometime want roll up or down, engine timing problem, and now transmission cvt problem.all with end 160,000 miles. How many miles can you get out of a car now days. Guess manufacturers and making throw any car after 100,000 miles.now it just seating in my yard.

I was driving down 114 in grapevine, tx heading toward southlake, tx. The engine stuttered and then shutdown and the check engine light came on. I coasted to the right shoulder of the highway. I noticed smoke coming out from the left side of the hood. I got out to pop the hood to see what the problem was. When i tried to lift the hood flames were shooting out. I stepped back and called 911. With in 3 minutes the car was engulfed and was a total loss. The fire department showed up and put the fire out.

While at a red light waiting for it to turn green the engine sputtered, the rpm's revved up really high, then the engine suddenly cut off.luckily my husband, who was driving, was on a city street at the time but had to eventually cross a bridge and was extremely nervous doing so.i have a scheduled appointment at my local nissan dealer to diagnose the problem.this is a scary situation and causes extreme anxiety in me knowing that the engine could cut off at any moment and possibly causing a crash and/or fatality.

I warmed up my vehicle for approximately 3 minutes and drove as i normally do than as i came to a stop sign and stopped.as i pressed my accelerator pedal the car was off. I checked the rpm and i was at zero (0). My cvt jerks me and passengers and it hesitates and turns off in reverse. This car will cut off regardless if in drive or reverse.the cvt needs to be recalled before an incident occurs that could affect our safety on the road someone help. Please.nissan needs to recall the faulty cvt transmissions they whine and overheat alot.my cvt warranty was extended to 10yrs 120,000 miles.no more nissans for me. Or cvt transmissions ever.

When driving there is a loud noise coming from front end and not sure why. Also alot of things with my front end is messed up it seems. The noise is one of theworstand also getting louder as time passes

The car turn on normal. Then after a few minutes on the city, the car started making a grinding noise coming out the bottom of the car. Also, i had the car in drive and it would not move forward.

Coolant leak noticed. Took to dealer discover a cracked block.

The check engine light came on. The dealer told me it was from defective gasoline. When the light immediately came back on, the dealer told me i needed a new engine and denied warranty repairs because i had changed my own oil and could not show receipts from a commercial oil change.

There was a noise coming from the engine side of the vehicle, but it was a separate noise from that of the engine. It was like a rattling/loud sound. Every time i would turn to the right and also reverse, the sound was louder. I took it to the nissan technician and they found the motor mount was broken. After replacing the motor mount the vehicle sound just like new (just how is was supposed to sound).

Vehicle began making a ticking noise from front passenger engine area at a stop light, as i began through intersection once it turned green the car completely stalled on me as traffic began moving again in the opposite direction almost causing a collision in the middle of the intersection.there were no pre warnings, dash warning lights that came on prior to this incident.i took the vehicle to the nissan dealer the next day (4 year old car w/ 75k miles) and was told the noise is coming from the engine i need a new motor but would not elaborate as to what exactly it was but advised me i was out of warranty and i could buy a new motor from them for 6500$.being completely stuck in the middle of the intersection has scared me enough not to even want to get back in the vehicle so as of right now it sits in my driveway a 4 year old car with 75k miles on it that almost caused me to be tboned in an intersection and no one has any answers for me, only want money to give a new motor.nissan corp has been contacted with out any assistance provided.i was told by nissan not to drive the car, which i obviously wont, i have done my research and there are hundreds of complaints out there for the same exact "unknown" problem that many people have had.

I have a 2007 nissan sentra with 53,000 miles. Started making loud rattling noises when turning to right and when cold to start. Started to get very scary and took into mechanic, since nissan charges $120 just to diagnose, even if under warranty. Mechanic said it was the right motor mount and was extremely unusual to see with such low mileage. I spoke with a friend that worked at nissan dealership and he said it always happens, and should be a recall. I spoke to corporate, and they refuse to help at all. This should never happen when you take good care of your car and have low mileage. I will never buy nissan again.

Coolant leak noticed. Took to dealer discover a cracked block.

I drove the 2007 nissan sentra for about 7 months with almost no issues except the "check engine light was on." i took it to the deal for the scheduled maintenances and had regular oil changes, and used premium gas. While driving on the highway going about 60mph, the car stalled and caught on fire. I was not able to pull over. It was a very traumatic experience. Recently i have received a recall notice concerning the brake fluid leak. I know that fluid and electricity do not mix, so it may very well have been the cause of the fire.

My 2007 nissan sentra caught on fire wile i was driving on highway .

The contact's daughter owns a 2007 nissan sentra.the contact stated that every time her daughter drives her vehicle at any speed, it shuts off and has to be restarted.the vehicle has been to the dealer approximately six times.the current mileage was 14,000 and failure mileage was 375.

In november i was driving on the highway for 30 minutes, next thing i know is that i have no power in the engine. The car would not go higher than 20 miles and the revolutions on the motor were as high as 5,000rpm. I lost control of the car because i could not accelerate and i could not stop the car because the brakes were very hard and unresponsive. I could not move the car, it felt like the car had the brake pedal push all the way with emergency brake, i tried to accelerate but it did not move. Had to tow the car to the nissan dealer service department. After 1 week, the service guys told me the problem was the outpeed speed sensor. After 3 days of using the repaired car, the car did the same thing only this time i almost crashed with another car because i lost control of the car again and the car almost got on fire. From the engine compartment you could see smoke coming out. Had to tow the car again to the nissan dealer service department with no result because they could not replicate problem. The car did the same to me 2 more times and this time the dealer decided to replace the cvt transmission which i have read they have a lot of problems and because of that nissan extended the warranty to 10 year 120k miles. After the transmission was replaced i used the car for about 1 month and the car in february did the same again. No engine power, unresponsive brakes, high rpm and smoke coming out from the engine compartment. Until when will i have to deal with this problem??? when will nissan correct or recall these transmissions, when a life is lost? i took the car more than 4 times before they decided to replace and fix the problem. I'm going back again to nissan, how many times will this time will be? i have lost more than 3 months with this issue and still the car is not working. Nissan does not have a safety recall and don't seem to take seriously the problem.

A/c unit never worked. Radio unit never worked. Fuel gauge was defective. Car was bought new and unused.

My 2007 nissan sentra was purchased new in december 2006.after having to bring in my car on several occasions for minor glitches (a rear-view mirror falling off, one of the sun-visors fell off), i finally had a big problem.in february 2008, while driving on a straight, flat road, while approaching an intersection i prepared to stop my vehicle for a light.i was about 4 car lengths behind the car ahead of me, and was only traveling about 35 mph.when i pressed the brake pedal softly, nothing happened.then i pushed the brake pedal down all the way, and still nothing happened.i had a wide shoulder to my right, so i tried turning the wheel and it had locked up.at this point, i made contact with the car ahead of me.my car was immediately taken to a repair shop and had the steering column replaced, as well as the hood of the car and various other parts needing to be fixed.the emotional trauma from the accident was difficult and though there were no established injuries, i did experience slight neck and back pain afterward.i was found to be at fault for the accident, despite the brake and steering wheel malfunction, and subsequently had a large increase in my car insurance premium.a nissan representative was flown out at my request to run diagnostics on the sentra but since the steering column was replaced as well as other replaced/fixed parts, no information was found.i am 100% positive that the accident was caused due to a mechanical failure and would warn against purchasing a nissan sentra.it was a horrible experience and i'm stuck with the car since nissan would offer no assistance for the trouble.

I started my car to go to work and air bag light came on flashing.it has been on ever since.now my passenger air bag stays off no matter if someone is in the seat or not?i worry about passengers now so no one can drive with me.

The contact owns a 2007 nissan sentra. The contact started the vehicle and turned on the air conditioner; however, the air conditioner was distributing warm air instead of cool air. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic for inspection on two separate occasions. The ac fuse, ac compressor and two ac clutches were replaced at different times on the vehicle. The failure continued to occur after the repairs were made. The vehicle had not been repaired due to the repair cost. The failure mileage was approximately 26,000.

Tl *the contact owns a 2007 nissan sentra. The contact stated when attempting to start the vehicle, the ignition would turn over but the engine would not start. After a few attempts, the vehicle started.the failure would occur intermittently without warning. The dealer advised the failure could have been caused by a malfunction in the fuel pump injector. The vehicle was not yet repaired. The failure mileage was 30,402 and the current mileage was 30,498.

I am filing a complaint in regards the the fuel gauge/distance to empty meter. Few weeks ago it started to missread. I fill up and its already 2 bars empty. Everytime i start the car up it drops a bar and i've noticed a drastic drop in the dte of up to 50 miles on highway traveling of on 24 miles. I had the dealership look at it and try to see why and they told me that it is something that has been happening with lots of people and that it is being looked at as normal. If it is normal it would have been nice for nissan to have sent a letter or something to car owners letting the public know that it is happening and that there isn't anything that can remedy the situation. I had my car in the shop multiple days just to find out that basically the only way it would be corrected would be if nissan found it a recallable item since there is no code to work with when they put it on a machine. I feel that it should be looked at as a safety issue cause its obviously malfunctioning equipment, if its not reading right it could easily lead to me being stranded on a highway due to incorrect fuel readings.

Approximately june of 2004 my sentra began to have extended crank times to start, especially after sitting for more than a few hours.i took it to the local dealer who diagnosed the issue as a faulty check valve in the fuel pump.they replaced the fuel pump assembly under warranty.this issue has happened again under warranty.the third time the dealer replaced the fuel pump under warranty even though the sentra was 1500 miles out of warranty. The car is now at 82000 miles and the beginning to have long crank times again.

The contact owns a 2007 nissan sentra. The contact stated that the fuel gauge failed to display the accurate amount of fuel in the tank and the service engine warning light illuminated. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 100,000. The vin was unavailable.

My vehicle was in a car accident 4-2-2015. Mercury insurance lisa openshaw failed to investigate the underbody of the car in the rear. Shocks were bent inwards in the rear and never repaired by mercury. I had the shocks repaired. Along with the estimates of repair lisa openshaw threatened me by stating that mercury paid for repairs twice duplicating labor on same matters. She tried to say the damages on the inside did not matter and damages on the outside was all that mattered. She also tried to violate the law to say i could not use my own repair facilities. The damages total enough to total the car and my vehicle was placed at risk compromising my safety while daily driving. I sent a complaint regarding the negligence of my car not being rightfully totaled. Attached are all documents for review. I have cc'd ricardo lara , the california insurance commissioner regarding this matter asking that he respond to me asap regarding the serious urgency of the matter since it has been literally 5 years. According to the recent letter by commissioner ricardo lara, all claims are to be paid to include car damages with no dishonesty and negligence. I am requesting that my car be totaled in full as at the time of the car accident , the value was $ 9500 plus tax and license for replacement value. Once the car is totaled, mercury insurance may update state farm insurance, the defendant's insurance company.*dt*dtconsumer stated teared down of the vehicle was completed on 06/10/15.

I was driving on the highway, going about 65 mph on the highway, all the sudden i lost complete momentum as i was turning into another lane and had to make an emergency stop on the side. My engine/ brakes/ wheel completely locked up. Got it towed, the shop mentioned that my gas pump blew.

Vehicle was experiencing stalling on a stop and hesitating in reverse for approximately 4 months. Thought it was due to fuel pump issues. Then, heard a loud clicking noise when i took my foot off the brake to slow. Was told my transmission needed to be replaced. Nissan has an extended 120,000 warranty on transmission. My vehicle had 120,815 miles. They only replaced 50%, causing me to pay $1500. These nissan cvt transmission clearly have a significant defect causing these issues that nissan has acknowledged by doubling the warranty, but this is insufficient. The transmissions should have been recalled. I should not have paid anything for the repairs. Additionally, the replacement transmission was a nissan remanufactured with refurbished parts, not new. Based on the numerous consumers reporting they have had to replace transmissions in these vehicles 2 or 3 times, i will not be keeping this vehicle, nor will i ever buy a nissan product again.

The contact owns a 2007 nissan sentra. While driving approximately 15 mph, the contact heard a grinding sound coming from the transmission when the accelerator pedal was depressed. The sound would stop once the vehicle reached a certain speed, but continued once the brakes were applied. The failure occurred numerous times at different speeds. The vehicle was taken to a dealer to be repaired according to an unknown manufacturer recall. The technician replaced the transmission, but the failure recurred. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified. The approximate failure mileage was 110,000.

The nissan cvt transmission should be recalled voluntarily due to a major defect that seems to be causing the transmission to overheat and fail.for the past 3 weeks, my car has been hesitating from a dead stop, which i chalked up to high temperatures and a/c usage.additionally, the car was whiny when traveling at highway speeds.when the transmission finally gave out, the speedometer and odometer completely stopped working.the car continued to accelerate for a brief period of time, then the rpm's were terribly erratic and the car stopped accelerating all together.the engine compartment had a foul odor coming from it.after allowing the car to sit for about 30 minutes, we proceeded on to a dealership where the problem was diagnosed as a bad transmission.this left us stranded with no car in another state so we had to rent a car to make it home, and will have to travel out of state to retrieve the car when it is fixed, which is approximately 2 weeks because that is how long it will take the dealership to get the part in stock.when i contacted nissan, i was offered no help... Thank goodness the transmission is under warranty, but they made no offer to help us get the car to our home state - basically it was our tough luck.if they would have issued a recall for this defect, this would have never happened.i am posting my experience, along with thousands of other sentra owners online in as many forums as possible so people can prepare for this problem that will happen with their cars.we will never buy a nissan again!

Transmission; i have had to change the cvt transmission on my nissan sentra twice in the space of a year. Before the last change i suffered a transmission leak that entailed me adding fluid when a whining noise starts. Steering; power steering is hard and does not move with ease unlike other cars i have driven. Speedometer; speed is inaccurate. I got speeding tickets because my speedometer did not accurately depict my speed. It was wrong and off by ~5 mph when speed started to exceed 20mph

The contact owns a 2007 nissan sentra. The contact stated that the vehicle would decelerate independently while driving at various speeds. The vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer where the transmission was replaced on two occasions. The failure recurred and the contact was informed that the transmission would again need to be replaced. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure, but offered no assistance. The failure mileage was 80,000 and the current mileage was 125,000.

My car transmission is under warranty but dealership would not fix it, they say purple fluid is not nissan certified but i have proof that transmission fluid was never changed, it seems coolant has contaminated the transmission fluid.

Front struts leaking, passenger window sometime want roll up or down, engine timing problem, and now transmission cvt problem.all with end 160,000 miles. How many miles can you get out of a car now days. Guess manufacturers and making throw any car after 100,000 miles.now it just seating in my yard.

While driving on a city street, my 2007 nissan sentra lost power three times.all warning signal lights illuminated on the dash each time.i put the car in park and restarted the engine and all warning lights on the dash disappeared.the vehicle drove fine for about another mile or so until it cut off again.i researched this issue and it looks to be a known issue related to the throttle body unit failure http://repairpal.com/check-engine-lightloss-of-power-due-to-throttle-body-unit-failure-441.

Car would not come out of park, no brake lights.

Nissan transmission last just five years before you needs to replace them i was driving on the highway going around 65 to 75 mph when my car started to slow down. I pulled over to the nearby exit into a gas station turn off my car and add more gas and oil into the car. When i turn back on my car i notice that my check engine light was on, got a diagnostics the check engine light code was po840 and po845 codes mean transmission fluid pressure sensor/ switch. Took my car to nissan dealer repair shop they said that my transmission was going out and i need to replace my transmission. Got in contact with nissan consumer affairs they refuse to fix my problem. My nissan is a five year old car with 133000 mile this is the first time i had any major problem with my car. I cannot afford to repair my transmission that cost $ 3600.00 dollars just for the parts not the lobar. I need to know what i can do to get nissan to fix my car for free.i also like to know if anyone else had this problem and what did you do to solve your issues.

Ctv automatic transmission not responsive when is cold.transmission does not shift, rpm on vehicle riseup to 5000 and not response.i have a disable daughter that needs medical attention sometimes and needs immediate procedures.nissan usa has been just evasive with this new technology.

The contact owns a 2007 nissan sentra.the contact was driving 60 mph when the vehicle begin jerking abnormally and would not accelerate over 20 mph. The contact moved the vehicle off the roadway and discovered that there was no transmission fluid in the vehicle. The contact added an adequate amount of transmission fluid yet the failure persisted and the vehicle was hesitant to the contact attempts to accelerate. The vehicle was towed to an authorized dealer.the dealer advised that transmission fluid had spilled onto the engine and the transmission was not compatible with the vehicle. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was 60,000.

When i purchased my 2007 nissan sentra i heard a ticking sound under the vehicle took it to the dealer once they said it was normal. It got worse took it again they said nothing was wrong. Now i found out that both of the front axles are leaking grease everywhere only its been awhile now my vehicle is no longer under warranty. What this has caused is the vehicle to shake and the motor mount to crack. Also the brake master cylinder was recalled they replaced it and it is leaking bad one day my brakes failed almost causing an accident had to add brake fluid leaks out every week. Please help me thankyou.

The contact owns a 2007 nissan sentra. The contact stated the clutch pedal failed. The vehicle stopped on a hill and would not shift into gear causing the vehicle to roll backwards forcing him to use the emergency brake in order to stop the vehicle. The dealer stated they had to check for fluid leaks on the master and slave cylinders before replacing the manual transmission. The manufacturer was contacted and offered noassistance. The failure mileage was 100,000.

2007 nissan spec-vclutch chatter and steering vibrations like something is rubbing when making a turn. Clutch and flywheel replaced at 1700 miles then happened again and was told it was normal to chatter.

The driver's seat-belt on this nissan sentra cannot be applied when parked on a hill. There areonly solutions that work: place the seat-belt over the steering wheel when parking, and remembering to sit-back down without allowing the belt to return to the unused position when buckling back up. The other solution is to drive without wearing your seat-belt until you reach a surface flat enough that the seat-belt mechanism disengages enough to allow you to buckle up. Obviously, both solutions are unrealistic and represent a real safety risk for motorists. Many motorists may give up and assume the seat-belt is broken if they see this.

The contact owns a 2007 nissan sentra.while driving approximately 20 mph, the contact heard a loud popping sound coming from the front end of the vehicle.she also noticed that the seat belt warning indicator was illuminated on the instrument control panel.she is in the process of notifying the dealer to determine the cause of the failure.the failure and current mileages were 21,239.

The contact owns a 2007 nissan sentra. While driving, the brake and battery warning indicators illuminated. Also, an abnormal noise occurred when depressing the brake pedal. The contact was concerned for her safety and called trophy nissan (located at 5031 n galloway ave, mesquite, tx 75150, (214) 446-8017). The contact was advised to call nhtsa. The vehicle was not taken to a dealer or an independent mechanic for diagnostic testing. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 140,000.

When driving there is a loud noise coming from front end and not sure why. Also alot of things with my front end is messed up it seems. The noise is one of theworstand also getting louder as time passes

Car would not come out of park, no brake lights.

While going on up and down steep hills in a city all of a sudden the engine stalls and the breaks stop working.this happened to me several times and to my luck as there was no traffic i got escaped without any accidents.both the times i stopped the vehicle by shifting it to the parking mode.some times the steering also automatically shifts to manual mode and the steering becomes tight.so the issues are with both the brakes and steering and this could be a computer/communication glitch which is not communicating with the brakes properly.when i stop the vehicle and restarts after sometime again brakes works normally and everything works fine.but after some days this issue repeats.right now i am taking the vehicle to the nearby dealer to get more information on the vehicle condition.once i get a clear explanation of the vehicle condition i will add more information to this complaint.right now the mileage on the vehicle is 105000. I think there are some recalls on this vehicle and i am not sure if they have recall on this particular case.

I found while researching an issue on my nissan sentra 2007 that there was a recall on the master cylinder in 2008 because the same issue that just happened to me could happen. I never received a recall notification and apparently i was not on the list but my brake light came on and i had the maintenance shop check my brakes they said my pads were fine. That i was probably having an issue with the warning light. 2 weeks ago i got in my car and when i went to brake i had to push my foot all the way to the ground. I eventually made my way to my local firestone and had them check my brakes only tho find that the master cylinder and the boosters needed to be replaced. When they pulled them they said they were full of brake fluid. That is why i had no brakes. This is the exact issue listed in the recall. Why was i not sent this recall notice as i obviously had defective cylinders and i had to spend 1300.00 to repair.

The contact owns a 2007 nissan sentra. While driving at high speeds, the air bag warning light illuminated on the instrument panel without warning. In addition, the brake light flickered on and off and when the brakes were applied and the vehicle responded slower than usual. The contact experienced the same failures explained in nhtsa campaign number: 08v311000 (service brakes), but the vin was not included in the recall. The vehicle was not diagnosed nor repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 80,000.

I was driving my car on the freeway and saw a small group of cars stopped in the road. I went to put on my brakes and nothing happened so i kept trying to brake pushing all the way down to the floor. I wedged myself between the suv in front of me and the truck next to me. Also got rear ended by another vehicle. Air bags deplloyed and i received a few scratches bruises and muscle strain.i went to look up recalls about a month ago for my vehicle. Apparently my vin is an invalid number. I received a ticket for failure to maintain my speed.

My brake light came on 2 months after i bought my car in 5/2007. I called the dealer in glenside and was told to "check the fluid".my concern wasthis being a new car and lights were blinking on the dashboard such as low tire gauge and brake signals.when fluid was added the light did go out. In 8/2007 i made a trip to v.a. And had a hard time stopping in the jammed up stop and go traffic around washington. An accident would have occurred had i not pulled off the side of the road. Again in 9/2007 my light came on. I reported the incident when i went forroutine maintenance and was told it was resolved.my concern is i knew these occurrences were not appropriate for a new car.i was disregarded with my concerns by the dealer i bought the car from, so who i am to trust with the "inspection" suggested to me in my owner notification?

I was involved in a car crash, november, 2007.i put my foot on the brake when i noticed a sign saying loose gravel.the car spun and i wound up in a ditch.the passengers and i were transported to the hospital.the car was totaled out and i could not afford to retrieve it from the car pound.

I drive a 2007 nissan sentra, and the power steering has been failing frequently over the last several months.this vehicle has electrical power steering.the issue occurs more often in the cold weather, and the power steering has been failing almost daily this winter.typically, after the car is restarted several times the ps light will turn off and the power steering will again operate correctly.often i have had to drive the vehicle without functional power steering, and it is very difficult to maneuver the car.because this issue is worsened by the cold weather, the roads may be icy or snowy, adding to the danger of operating without proper functioning steering.it was difficult for me to have this issue diagnosed by my mechanic, as i had to get the car to him while the ps light was on, and when he ran it through the computer it gave him the code c1606.having done research online, i see that i am not the only person having this recurring problem with this particular vehicle, but nissan has not issued any recall.it is an expensive fix (estimated at $2,500), but due to my car no longer being covered under warranty, i am expected to pay out of pocket for this repair.nissan was willing to offer me $150 to pay for the diagnosis of the problem at one of their dealerships.they offered me this money after i insisted on speaking with a supervisor, and due to the fact that i am a considered a "loyal customer", having owned a 1998 sentra in the past.because of the number of customers that are suffering from this malfunction, and the safety concerns involved, i believe a recall is in order.

I brought the car from the dealership when i got the car lou (seller) stated they just brought the battery and the airbag light should go off after being driven a couple of miles the airbag light never came off i went to get the inspected and payed 162 at nissan to be looked at then 400 at the dealership to be fixed another couple miles the airbag light came on

I own a 2007 nissan sentra - within the first year of ownership the power steering failed - the dash light would come on and the car could not be driven because of the lack of power steering.i took it to don williamson nissan and they erased the failure light and said nothing was wrong with it.this has happened again (3rd time) - now the warranty has expired, the ps light has come on approximately 7 times within the last week, the power steering does not engage when the car is turned on - i turn the car on and off approximately 6 times and the ps does engage, however now the gears within the steering column grind for approx 1minute before the car operates.i brought the car to the above dealership again and initially they told me nothing was wrong with it again - i insisted twice that they read the computer warning system and they finally did read it and determined that the power steering is actually electric and the electric motor is faulty.they told me they would not fix it unless i pay for $600 in parts up front and labor for a charge of $910 - this is a safety issue that i should not have to pay for.the motor was faulty from the beginning.if the power steering goes out while driving, a major accident is likely to occur.

Just purchased a pre-owned 2007 sentra and it pulls to the left when driving down the interstate at 55+mph. Checked tire pressure, dealer balanced the tires and did wheel alignment problem still occurs.

The contact owns a 2007 nissan sentra. The contact stated while driving 35 mph the steering wheel seized. The engine was turned off and on and the steering then reset. The power steering warning light was also illuminated. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure and the vehicle was not repaired.the failure mileage was 63,595.

The contact owns a 2007 nissan sentra. The contact stated that the alignment was out of place since the purchase of the vehicle. As a result, the vehicle was difficult to steer while driving at speeds of 55 to 70 mph. The vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer and the contact was informed that the axle was bent and the vehicle was out of alignment. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was 114 and the current mileage was 35,600.

The contact owns a 2007 nissan sentra. The contact stated that the power steering and engine warning lights would illuminate intermittently, followed by a loss of power steering assist. The vehicle was taken to the dealer and the dealer advised that since the vehicle was no longer under warranty and the power steering and engine lights did not remain illuminated consistently, there was nothing that could be done to repair the vehicle. The manufacturer would not repair the failure unless the power steering light and engine light remained illuminated. The vin was not available. The failure mileage was 42,000 and the current mileage was 44,000.

A manufacturing defect of the rear cross member does not allow adjustment for toe alignment which resulted in excessive tire wear creating an incalculable risk of failure.

The contact owns a 2007 nissan sentra. When the contact started the vehicle, the power steering warning indicator illuminated and the power steering failed to function. The vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer who stated the failure was relatedto the electronic control steering shaft assembly. The failure recurred twice. The vehicle was not repaired and the manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 53,878.

My car's power steering stop working. According to nissan i need a new power steering column, price 1795.00 plus labor and tax. They have a recall on the nissan sentra 2007 for this same reason but for some reason my car's vin is not one of them. I think if my car has the same problem as the other ones it should be included in the recall.

The contact owns a 2007 nissan sentra. While driving approximately 60 mph, the steering wheel seized with the illumination of the power steering warning indicator. The vehicle was maneuvered to the side of the road and the engine was turned off. When the engine was restarted the vehicle resumed normally. The failure occurred thirty times. The vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer for diagnosis. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the problem. The approximate failure mileage was 60,000.

When turning the wheel to the left eithera stop or a slow roll the steering made a low toned noise. This only happens to the left. It is not low on power steering fliud and has done it since i've owned the vehicle. I've talk to other owners and they have the same problem. The dearlerships are saying it has to do with the abs and something else. The brakes work fine and still makes the noise even if you are not pressing the brakes.

I own a 2007 nissan sentra, the power steering light (ps) continues to come on and the electric power steering does not work on occasion - it has failed beginning at 1 year of ownership and has continued to fail even this morning - august 12, 2009.don williamson nissan will not replace the faulty electric motor (pulled by computer code from the car) even though i have documentation of the faulty code at 32,043 miles which was still under warranty.this is a safety hazard - nissan usa will not fix the problem because the car is now out of warranty.i will never buy another nissan and i currently own 3 - they have a dishonest service department and are unwilling to satisfy their warranty.

Vehicle: nissan sentra 2007problem: when starting the car, the power steering may fail, making it difficult to steer the car. Stopping and restarting the engine will temporarily fix the problem.i have not yet experienced loss of power steering while driving and hope i never do.

During a uturn the steering wheel locked and was unable to continue. Auto needed to be towed back to the dealership. Was given an estimate for $2500 to replace the entire steering column.

The contact owns a 2007 nissan sentra. The contact stated while driving in reverse about 5 mph the power steering failed. The steering wheel would not turn and the vehicle was towed to the dealer who stated they would replace the steering column at no cost to the owner. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 55,400.

The contact owns a 2007 nissan sentra. The contact stated that while driving approximately 65 mph, the steering wheel became difficult to manuver. The contact stopped the vehicle on the shoulder of the road. After restarting, the vehicle regained normal steering function. The failure occurred on three different occasions. The vehicle was taken to the dealer for a diagnostic test. The technician was unable to duplicate the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The approximate failure mileage was 46,581.

The contact owns a 2007 nissan sentra. Upon starting the vehicle, the contact noticed that the power steering light illuminated on the instrument panel. The vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer where the contact was informed that the power steering motor needed to be replaced. The vehicle had not been repaired. I had to purchase new tires due tro uneven wear on the passenger side of the car.i have been hearing a thunking noise, periodically, in the location of the passenger front tire location.the dealership looked at the vehicle 4 days ago and stated that the steering rack needs to be replaced.i am still waiting for the parts to arrive and the noise is getting worse.it now can be heard every time i turn the steering wheel and even stop.

The contact owns a 2007 nissan sentra. The contact stated that when the brakes were engaged, the vehicle would veer to the left and an unknown noise would emit from the front of the vehicle. The vehicle was taken to the dealer. The technician was unable to diagnose the problem. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was unknown.

The contact owns a 2007 nissan sentra.in march of 2008, the vehicle made a grinding sound when making left turns.the contact took the vehicle to the dealer, but no failures were found.immediately after leaving the dealer, the contact noticed that the front wheels were unstable.he returned the vehicle to the dealer a week later and a diagnostic test indicated that there was an alignment failure.the mechanic stated that the failure had been previously repaired on the vehicle.immediately after leaving the dealer the second time, he noticed that the vehicle would stop abruptly when the brake pedal was depressed.this was a persistent failure.he currently must avoid crashing into other vehicles as a result of the brake failure.he took the vehicle to the dealer again and they advised the contact to go to the original dealer to receive any repairs.the current mileage was 12,000 and failure mileage was 8,000.updated 10/20/08.*ljupdated 10/20/08.

While driving the vehicle, a bolt in the steering column broke and the wheel was no longer connected to the wheels, making a turn the wheel becameimpossible as the wheel spun completely around multiple times.this is the second time we've had a problem with the steering column, the first time the entire column was replaced.we have owned this car for only 8 months and it was new when we purchased it.we are currently waiting to hear from nissan about our request for an exchange or refund, and we feel this vehicle is no longer safe to operate.

My one month old car rocks side to side when i turn from a smooth road to a bumppy one, and i feel the road bumps through the tiremore so than any other new car.i took the car to saratoga nisson and lia nisson, andthey said there was nothing wrong. I was trying to trade it back but i will loose money- not happy .

1-9-07 i purchased a 2007 nissan sentra on 1-13-07 the ps light came on and the power steering was out.it corrected itself and drove okay until 1-18, 2007 i took the car to the dealer.the porter drove the car and confirmed the power steering was not working.i had to argue with the service clerk to demand that the vehicle be checked, after talking with the service manager and the sales manager they agreed to keep the vehicle overnight.the next day i receive a call stating that a problem was found and the part had to be ordered.i have not been told what the part is.i still do not have the auto.they are still waiting for part .

2007 nissan sentra. Consumer writes in regards to lose of steering power while driving. *ldthe consumer stated after inspecting the vehicle the tire was turned all the way to the left even though the steering wheel was straight. The inner tie rod had broken.

2007 nissan sentra failed to come to a complete stop and impacted with an suv at approximately 35mph. Hood, front bumper and front grill need a complete replacement due to damage. Although driver was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident, moderate neck and back injuries were sustained. Air bags failed to deploy.

Front struts leaking, passenger window sometime want roll up or down, engine timing problem, and now transmission cvt problem.all with end 160,000 miles. How many miles can you get out of a car now days. Guess manufacturers and making throw any car after 100,000 miles.now it just seating in my yard.

Just purchased a pre-owned 2007 sentra and it pulls to the left when driving down the interstate at 55+mph. Checked tire pressure, dealer balanced the tires and did wheel alignment problem still occurs.

The contact owns a 2007 nissan sentra.the contact took the vehicle in for routine inspection and was informed that he needed a front end alignment.the psi warning light illuminated on the instrument control panel.after the repair was made, the contact had to continuously insert air into the rear driver's side wheel.several weeks later, while driving 41 mph, the rear driver's side wheel overturned and caused him to lose control of the vehicle and rollover.the vehicle was completely destroyed and the contact sustained moderate injuries.the manufacturer could not determine the cause of the failure; therefore, they would not assume any financial liability.the contact has pictures of the failure and a copy of the police report.the failure and current mileages were 18,000.updated 08/04/08

My 2007 nissan sentra was pulling hard to the left with brand new tires just installed the day before, so i brought the car to the dealership after two alignments had been performed with no change in the handling or pulling of the car.it was divulged after a day of diagnostics that the car had a bent rear axle replaced in april of 2009.from the factory it was conveyed that my particular model had the wrong axle installed on it and many other vehicles from my model year were affected.the car left the shop and was no longer pulling.gradually my alignment began to worsen and since the incident i had it redone 4 times since april.the final time i told the dealership to keep the car because something must be wrong and they did two days worth of test to rule out tire wear and other problems.it was determined that the new rear axle was bent at a 20 degree angle causing the pull.there was no damage to my low profile tires or rims nor a collision that would cause the damage as the dealer was able to testify too yet the axle still bent.it was not covered this time and the pull was dangerous still to the left.this must be a defect with this model year.

The contact owns a 2007 nissan sentra.on october 6, 2007, the vehicle was taken to the dealer for its 7,500 mile maintenance service.the tires were rotated and balanced at that time.while driving between 65-70 mph, the steering wheel began to vibrate and shake.he called the dealer and they stated that he could take the vehicle to a dealer that was located closer to him.at that time, he and the dealer believed the tires just needed to be aligned.when he took the vehicle to another dealer, they found that the rear suspension needed to be replaced in addition to the two tires that were just rotated from the rear to the front.the vehicle is currently still with the dealer.the current and failure mileages were 7,700.

A manufacturing defect of the rear cross member does not allow adjustment for toe alignment which resulted in excessive tire wear creating an incalculable risk of failure.

I have a 2007 sentra 2.0s, with brand new goodyear assurance tripletred tires, that i bought new from nissan in brooklyn park, mn. Its cold and icy here in the winters! i started noticing a lot of swaying and loudness in the rear on bumpy roads and ice/snow. After roughly 5000 miles of driving on new tires all around, my rear tires decreased significantly to 6/32s, brand new is 11/32s, and when i spoke to the dealership about this issue, they had no comment. When i spoke to discount tires about the 80k warranty on the goodyear tires, they said they would replace them but were very confused about how they got bald so quick at only 5k miles. I cannot drive this in the winter but its suppose to save me gas, but it doesn't. My little acura has better gas mileage. Obviously when i took it into the dealership, they had no clue what the issue was and even when i said, "i have read a lot on rear tire alignment issues with my nissan and i want answers from you", they still look at me like they have no idea what i am talking about. Until i showed them what i printed off the internet, they told me they are not aware of the situations around the globe and if i wanted to fix my sentra it's not covered under warranty.

We are experiencing severe rear tire wear. Dealership refused to acknowledge problem untilthe third visit when we went with handful of testimonials( printed from car review sites on internet) from other people experiencing this same problem with their nissan 2007-2008 sentra's.on our third visit dealership manager said he would call nissan corp. And personally speak to regional manager on our behalf. We also called nissan corp. And filed a complaint on 06/17/08. Rm called us on 6/18/08 and left message sidestepping rear end issue by stating to us that tires are not under warranty by nissan. ??. We returned call to regional manager telling her that tires at this time are not the issue, it is a defective rear end, suspension or engineering. We just want the problem corrected.

Tires are incompatible with winter weather driving. Car slides and drifts making it unable to safely handle, and dangerous as vehicles constantly attempt to pass .this is unacceptable for a six month old car.

False illumination of the low tire pressure light.light will illuminate randomly and the dealer cannot fix it.it has been brought in 4 times in the last 4 months for it and they won't do anything.it is to the point where when the light comes on, i don't believe it.

I took my 2007 nissan sentra to the costco on 7 january 2010 in order to have 4 new tires put on the car.i was advised that tire pressure sensor packs for each tire be replaced at the same time the tires were being replaced and that the cost would $2.00 per tire.when the tire technicians attempted to replace the first service pack they found that the sensor nut on the rear left tire had seized up.they then found that the sensor nut on the front left tire had also seized up and the tire sensor cracked.for this reason it had to be replaced with a rubber stem.it was reported to me that this was common with nissans because they are put on too tightly by the factory when the nissans are manufactured.after having problems with the tire sensors on the left side of the car, the costco technicians didn't feel comfortable trying to replace the ones on the right side of the car.i was advised to take the car to the dealer.i took the car to my nissan dealer and was told that the tire sensors are not covered under the warranty and that it would be $650 to replace all four tire pressure sensors.i refused to pay for them to be replaced after being told that this is a specific problem that nissans are having.so now the tire pressure warning light stays on all of the time due to one of the tire sensors being replaced by a rubber stem.so if there is a problem with any of the four tires i will not be able to tell it via the tire pressure warning light since it stays lit all of the time.i asked at costco if they have problems with any other makes of cars when it comes to the tire pressure sensors and i was told that it is only with nissans.so obviously i am not the only person who has experienced this problem and it might warrant an investigation and possible recall - out of consideration of the cost ($650 to replace 4 tires pressure sensors) as well as the safety concern.thank you in advance for your time.

During routine maintenance, i was told i needed 4 new tires and 4 wheel alignment by the dealer.the estimated cost was incredibly high.i only had 35,000 miles on the car.i found a good master mechanic of over 20 years, bought new tires and had alignment done.i was told the rear wheels are bowed in and manufacturer does not call for any adjustment.he showed me the back of the car visible turning in slightly on each side and on the top.only way to be that way would be if the bar was bent.suggested i take it to the dealer.dealer said the back wheels passed but are not at 0 as the front was.it was -15 which is considered passing.their mechanic told me the manufacturer designed this car to be like that in the rear so when you have passengers in the back or weight in your trunk the wheels would then be straight!what if you are like me and hardly ever have any passengers in the back seat nor weight of any kind in the trunk?now the tires are to wear out prematurely?also my car in front was way out of alignment and tires were prematurely worn.dealer told me i was lucky to get 35,000 miles out of my car that a lot of people only get 16,000.i am still pursuing this matter and this is step one above the dealership and there are other issues also which i will post in the appropriate category.also now the tire gauge light keeps coming on.

On may 10, 2015 at approximately 3:15 pm, i was driving eastbound on john hanson highway when suddenly my hood come unlatched and smashed into my windshield cause the glass to shattered while i was driving causing me to try and move over to the shoulder lane because of loss visibility while shards of glass was all over me.i contacted my roadside assistance through statefarm and had the vehicle towed.after the vehicle was taken to the repair shop they told me that statefarm will not repair my car in its entirety because the root cause of the latch breaking causing damage to my windshield, hood, and roof, was due to extensive corrosion to my core support. I contacted nissan and they stated that there was no recall for my vehicle and that they could not fix it; however, the severity of the incident could have caused me to have been in my terrible accident.nevertheless, the rusted and corroded core support was no cause on mine and i am requested assistance with this matter.i do not live in a flood zone. I purchased my vehicle brand new from the nissan dealer in january 2007.please help me resolve this imperative matter. Thanks in advance for your assistance.

The car turn on normal. Then after a few minutes on the city, the car started making a grinding noise coming out the bottom of the car. Also, i had the car in drive and it would not move forward.

When driving there is a loud noise coming from front end and not sure why. Also alot of things with my front end is messed up it seems. The noise is one of theworstand also getting louder as time passes

Stalls when coming to a stop. In the morning, about 3 miles down the road, as soon i come to a complete stop at a light the car shuts off. Rpms drop and just shuts off. Put in park and starts back up. No check engine lights no codes. This has happened 5 times. Also now when parking face down on hill car will sputter and stall. Again, no check engine and no codes

Rusted exhaust/muffler pipe

I took my car in to be service and they did not service it. So i stop payment on the check and they file a complaint againstme with the state attorney office they told me it would take about two hours to service my car and they did not service it at all they had charge me over three hundreds dollars.the case # 27671367. I won my case. Now i received this recall notice from you all and i really appreciate it. But i have lost faith in there service, but i am going to take it back to the bill seidles nissan the dealer where i got it from. I let them know how disappointed i was with there service. I am doubtful about there service.thank you all so much for looking out for all of us who drive.

I had just finished washing my vehicle when i pulled out into traffic and could not drive my car at regular speed i had my foot all the way on the gas pedal and could not even get up to 5 mph. Traffic was coming and i had to put on my four way blinkers so i would not be hit. I made it over to a parking lot and ran it around for a few minutes until it finally kicked in so i could get back into traffic.. At that moment i had my 3 year old grandson onboard and i was trying not to panic.... I recently purchased this vehicle from a friend.

My car transmission is under warranty but dealership would not fix it, they say purple fluid is not nissan certified but i have proof that transmission fluid was never changed, it seems coolant has contaminated the transmission fluid.

The contact owns a 2007 nissan sentra.while accelerating from a stop, the vehicle accelerated at a high speed on its own.the vehicle struck a fence, crashed into and removed the side rear of another vehicle, and drove over a sidewalk.none of the air bags deployed and there were no injuries.the contact pumped the brakes, but nothing happened.the vehicle began to slow down and the contact turned off the engine and engaged the parking brake.a police report was filed.the vehicle was towed to an auto body shop.the insurance company diagnosed the vehicle.the dealer stated that they never heard of this type of failure and was very interested in the matter because they want their products to be safe.there are no recalls for this vehicle; however, nhtsa campaign id number 08v311000 (service brakes, hydraulic:foundation components:master cylinder) was referenced.the vehicle is currently at the auto body shop.the dealer stated that nissan will not get involved with inspecting the vehicle.both side mirrors were removed, the widnshield was damaged, and the front fender was hanging.the failure and current mileages were 25,000.

The contact owns a 2007 nissan sentra.the contact is experiencing issues with the front defroster/defogger system.she stated that the defogger only activates in the middle of the windshield and only defrosts the middle of the glass.it does not operate on the driver or passenger sides of the windshield.she took the vehicle to the dealer twice for this failure and they stated that it was working properly.the contact was advised that the defroster would eventually work itself over the entire windshield; therefore, there was nothing for them to repair.the failure mileage was 30,000.updated 03/17/09. *ljupdated 03/18/09.

Consumer complaint regarding an incident with 2007 nissan sentra automatic windows closing on consumer causing amputation. Complaint submitted by lawyer on behalf of client. The consumer was leaning on the open door when the driver began closing the window in preparation for leaving. According to the lawyer, there are regulations for one-touch operated windows in the federal motors vehicle safety standard no 118 section 5: while closing the window, partition, or roof panel it must reverse direction before contacting, or before exerting a squeezing force of 100 newtons or more on a semi-rigid rod from 4 mm to 200 mm in diameter that has the force-deflection ratio described in section 5 and that is placed through the window, partition or roof panel system opening at any location.

The contact sustained injuries that required medical attention. The vehicle was totaled and towed to a tow yard. The dealer and manufacturer were not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 130,000.

I had instability on the highway going around curves. The car would start to shake, so i had to slow down to navigate around curves. Turning on town roads felt somewhat less, but i still had to be careful. Meineke put them on with 64,249 miles on the tires,on 2/19/16, but they put on new front pair at 70,203 miles on the tires on 10/8/19, because they said the tread worn down. They left the rear tires on.
