The air bags failed to deploy. The contact sustained knee injuries, but did not require medical attention. A police report was not filed. The vehicle was towed to the contact's residence. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The vin was included in nhtsa campaign number: 16v244000 (air bags). The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 3,200.
Air bag diagnosis control unit and occupant detection controlunit need replaced. Airbag light just came on and continues to blink. Nissan has had recalls on this problem
