While driving, 2 vehicles in front of consumers son slammed on their brakes, consumers son slammed on his brakes, however he still hit the vehicle in front, the air bags did not deploy and the abs failed.
2000 nissan frontier crewcab se, v6, 4wd.vehicle was travelling at highway speed and engine suddenly shut off. After tow to garage (not nissan dealer), mechanic checked fuel pressure, found none and dropped fuel tank. Fuel sender unit assembly had crack/hole in connector for fuel pump elctrical power at fuel tank penentration.wiring inside of assembly was exposed and corroded to the point that fuel pump failed to operate. Mechanic mentioned that he had seen the same failure in another nissan frontier just a couple months before so this was the first area he checked.i still have the failed component in my possesion and can provide digital photographs.
63,000 miles on a dealer maintained vehicle and when i moved to va inspection revealed cracked manifold. $700 to repair/replace by dealer.

Suspension ,tires hit rough roadwaybecomes very unmanageable to drive.the truck is very sensitive toevery little bump or flaw in the roadway.
