Dt*:the contact stated while driving various speeds, the air intake located next to the engine consumes water in rainy weather which causes the engine to stall without warning.the vehicle was inspected by a dealer who installed a bonnet around the air intake which extended the air intake.afterwards, the problem persisted.the instrument panel also intermittently illuminates.the dealer was unable to determine the cause of these failures.the manufacturer was alerted.
At any speed, when vehicle hits a bump in the road it will cause the vehicle to pitch back and forth and rock from side to side. Dealer claims that this is normal,and suggests that the consumer break the vehicle in.this pitching and rocking problem occurred several times since ownership of the vehicle.the dealer replaced the suspension once, and problemrecurred.

Exterior running lights catching on fire
The contact owns a 2004 newmar scottsdale rv.the contact stated that the brakes were failing.recall number 50901-c and nhtsa campaign id number 09v217000 (service brakes, hydraulic) state that the brakes will lock up and not release until they cool off.the brakes are located on a 2003 workhorse chassis.the vehicle was taken to an auto center and the mechanic stated that the caliper failed.the mechanic has been waiting on the manufacturer to provide the parts for the repair, but the contact has been waiting over two weeks.workhorse is not calling the auto center or the contact back with a remedy.the failure mileage was 19,186.
Dt the contact owns a 2004 newmar scottsdale. The motor home is on a workhorse chassis, and the instrument panel is supplied with a workhorse chassis , under the speedometer there is a led display panel whichit tellsthe contactwhat gearhein as well as other data. The problem with this display is that it is very dim, making it difficult to see what gear thevehicle is in as well as the other data that it displays. The contactknows of other people with this same type of complaint. He went and looked at a brand new 2005 motor home and he turned the leverthatled display on and that one was dim as well. Also contacted the manufacturer, and they where aware of the problem, andthey where requesting new instrument panels from workhorse. The technician said that some of the instrument panels were so bad that one could not read them at all. The contactdid not believethat the new oneswere any better. The contact has been experiencing this problem with the vehicle ever since he purchased it on august 9, 2004.
