The motorhome lights are not relay isolated from the tow package. Turning the motorhome lights on, while towing a trailer, caused an overload of the supply circuit and caused a fire in the forward run bay.
2002 monaco signature caught fire. Consumer believes that fire was caused by a faulty design of the external lighting circuitry. Consumer would like this matter investigated.the consumer stated all of the current needed to power the external lights ran through a smart wheel controller located in the forward run-bay. The controller was designed to handle the current load of the external lights on the motorhome but not additional load of a tow vehicle.
