When driving about 30mph i hit a dip in the roadway. When the rear wheels entered the dip depression, the result was that the tail pipe hit the roadway and was pushed upwards into the inside of the body at the rear onthe drivers side of the unit. This resulted in the opening of the tail pipe being up against the inside of the body panel with the body panel more or less blocking the exit of exhaust gases from the tailpipe. The consequence of this was that the resulting heat from the tail pipe caused extensive damager to this area of the motor home. One of the storage compartments was melted. The electrical cord was damaged and had a hole burned in it. A lot of the wiring was burned and melted. Light fixture was burned and melted. The input box for cable and satellite connections was totally burned up. Two of the exterior doors in the area of the tail pipe were burned and damaged. The tail pipe itself became detatched from the muffler and supporting bracket and was simply dangling down without support. I currently have the unit at an rv repair facility so that the above described items can be replaced and repaired.the dealer stated replaced lower trim, replaced transfer switch and wiring, replaced 2 rear comp door and transfer switch and wiring.
