The vehicle was towed to an impound lot and then towed to an auto garage by the insurance company. While at the auto garage, the vehicle was unable to be inspected due to the amount of blood inside the vehicle. The contact stated that the vehicle was towed to another repair facility to have the blood cleaned. The vehicle was not inspected by a dealer or independent mechanic to determine why the air bags failed to deploy. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 45,000.

The sensor for the airbags was out during the crash but airbags did not deploy

Driver proceeded to stop the vehicle in traffic and the brakes failed and did not engage. The vehicle did not come to a stop and hit the car in front of it. According to an of-duty police officer directly behind my vehicle, the brake lights were lit up as if the brakes were functioning but no slowing of the vehicle occurred.

My 2015 outlander was just inspected a week prior to this happening. My wife was driving the car on the highway and the vehicle would not exceed 50 mph. Now the car is in the shop and they say it's computer failure . @60,000 miles? i just find it funny that's how long of a warranty they give to you

We purchased our 2015 outlander in feb 2017 with only 25,000 miles. It was manufactured in july 2015 with a 2.0 liter engine. There is a recall for shuddering engines for this vehicle during this time, however out vin did not appear on the recall list. When i am stopped at a red light or slow down, then try to speed up, the transmission shutters and jumps forward. There is now another issue resulting in the vehicle to increase rpm's without gaining speed. With further inspection, there was no transmission fluid in the reserve. This vehicle is now only at 34,000 miles. I scheduled a warranty maintenance visit, the dealer doesn't have availability for another month.

Hear stick pops out of fear with slightest touch while driving. Transmission drops to lower fear while driving. Have to pull over and restart car to get it to work properly. Engine has 15,693 miles, mechanic says a rod is knocking and shouldn't be running the fan to cool as much as it does. All this has multiple occurances. Mitsubishi has had the car twice but found nothing wrong.

This happens almost all the time - when driving at city street speed of 25 mph and under my car shakes so much and does not accelerate and feels like it is going to shut down.on 3 occasions i was rear ended because of this and one time was with a huge sanitation truck with my children inside the car.i have taken this car to the dealer and the mitsubishi dealer to be looked at and help to no avail it still does it.i have reported this to mitsubishi motors and was given a case number but to date no one has contacted me nor helped me. I am scared for the safety of my family and myself - it is a very scary situation and i just bought this car about a year ago.help me because no one else does.

The problem has been on going over time and started by noticing moisture in the rear lights. With time the moisture turned into water that caused bulbs to burn out.the rear lights absorb moisture which condenses into water that affects the light bulbs and had to change the bulbs countless times and eventually the lightingstopped working completely. Today the lamp on the right side has accumulated rust and is no longer functional with the turn signal which is dangerous while driving and would like to change lanes.upon taking the vehicle to the dealer, the dealer refused responsibility claiming the vehicle has surpassed the mileage threshold. Only advise was to buy new lamps which cost around $400 whereas there is no guarantee the new lights won't absorb moisture and the cycle repeats. It's in this respect that these issue should be investigated what causes the moisture in the lamps and mitsubishi should replace the lights without charges to the consumer because it's responsible for substandard products that was not caused by the consumer. Will appreciate help accorded.

I went to go turn on my car when i got out of work and when i put the vehicle on drive and pressed the gas pedal the car would not move when the gas pedal was pressed! so i turned off the car and turned the car back on and put the car on drive and pressed the gas pedal and the car revved up and moved a little with hesitation. So i put the car on reverse and pressed the gas pedal and car would rev up but not move! so i turned off the car and turned it back on again and put it in reverse again and pressed the gas pedal again and the car moved but with hesitation and with not a lot of force! so i leave the car at my workplace and get the car towed to my house the next day! i call the dealer because my mechanic seen there was a recall with the vehicle hesitating to move and i gave them my vin number and the dealer told me there's nothing they could do because my vehicle wasn't on the recall list ! they also told me that to replace the transmission it was going to cost about $8000. My vehicle only has 114000 miles i shouldn't be having this problem! so now i'm stuck with a car that needs a new transmission/power train !

My wife and i went to walker automotive, 1616 s. Macarthur dr alexandria, la 71301, (318)445-6421 to finance a low or no mileage, mpg) efficient vehicle for my wife. The salesperson, steve farrell asked, 'what type of vehicle did we want?' i told him my first choice was a 4 cyl with a third-row seating, with an mpg rating in the mid to upper 20's and not a big body that my wife would be driving most of the time. He showed a gray 2016 mitsubishi outlander se (the vehicle we financed). My wife got in the driver's seat and drove the vehicle around on a few city streets surrounding the dealership.i asked mr. Farrell about the mileage (34,421) this vehicle already had. He stated, 'these were hwy miles.' i informed him that the mileage was agreeable since i knew my wife needed a vehicle that was good for hwy driving.after financing this vehicle, i returned to walker for oil changes, multi-point inspections and a couple of mitsubishi recalls. One of the recalls was for the door locks not automatically locking once the vehicle reached 5miles per hour. The other recall was for a failure in the parking brake system that would cause the vehicle to move even with the parking brake engaged. I discovered these recalls by going to the autozone website.mitsubishi did not send me a letter. I scheduled an appt to have the recalls corrected. I was asked to speak to 2 different svc advisors. The first advisor, michael medina, was supposed to have ordered the parts, but didn't, so my appt was pushed back another month. The next service advisor, sam morrison ordered the parts and set the appt for me to bring the vehicle in. Mr. Medina committed suicide and mr. Morrison stopped working for walker after repairing the recalls on my vehicle. My conversations with both of these advisors was to ask them if there were any other recalls. They both replied, 'not to their knowledge.'

I have a 2015 mitsubishi outlander sport es 2wd has 21,500 miles. The front rotors have deep groves on the driver's side and smaller groves developing on the passenger side.i have never experiences any squealing when brakes are applied. It appears to be a defect with the rotors and/or brake disc pads.the dealer will not investigate and only speculate that the problem is caused by stones.i had a 2008 mazda 3 sport with 65,000 miles prior to this mitsubishi and never experienced a disc brake rotor problem.my other vehicle is a 2000 ford f-350 170,000 miles and there are no signs of groves on the front rotors. I drive on streets and highway

Parking brake is nonfunctional due to parts of brake caliper related to parking brake becoming stuck in place, and preventing the parking brake from engaging.

When the car hits pumps which are too deep, the steering moves. The vehicle also shifts sometimes when it hits small pumps. I feel i do not have control over the car when such happens. I have driven other cars before like my brother's highlander but it does not do so. It is so weird even though the mechanic from where i financed says it is because it is an electronic steering. It feels so unsafe and i dread to drive when it is icy.
