Immobizer systemi had been out over two hrsin my car came home for min turned care off it dinged saying immobizer system needs service and car would not start back even this morning

Over night, my battery died. When i tried to turn the car on, the windshield whispers would go crazy, radio would turn on, but not the car. Purchased a new battery, car is only 3 yrs old. The new battery is being drained now. When the car is off, the radio turns on and off by itself, the fog lights strobe, and there is a beeping noise. The dealership teased everything and found that it is the ecu (electrical control unit) which is on recall for my make, year, and model, but not for my car based off the vin. It is exactly what was going wrong in other vehicles exactly my year, make, and model, but not according to my vin #.

Car would randomly shudder and rpms fluctuate while idling.then would just die when attempting to go from idle. Eventually asc service required warning came on with service engine light. Transmission tunnler was replaced. Car ran fine for a few weeks and problem has started again.pulling into gas station, car started to shudder. Rpms fluctuated and asc service required came on again.

Immobizer systemi had been out over two hrsin my car came home for min turned care off it dinged saying immobizer system needs service and car would not start back even this morning

The catalytic converter was recalled and replaced in november of 2017, but now the exhaust manifold is rusted from the inside which caused bits to break off and fall into the new catalytic converter. Now the exhaust manifold needs to be replaced (there are only 4 parts in the nation for this??) and the new, less than a year old, catalytic converter has to be cleaned out of all the rusty metal bits. There is a rattling noise in the engine when idle (rpms jump up and down slightly in idle), quiets a bit once you hit 2-3k rpms and then is loud again around 1-2k rpms. The exhaust manifold is nearly a thousand dollars to replace! i don't live near the ocean or a place where it snows frequently. My 5 year old car shouldn't have rust in the exhaust manifold especially considering the other recall just last year. Service engine soon light has been on for weeks since the problem started. They told me it's out of my warranty because my car is at 75k miles.

When i started the car in park, and especially when i pushed the gas pedal, there was a noise in the engine that keep up while driving and when in park while the engine was running.the sound was like when a car has low oil in the steering wheel but i asked a neighbor and he says these cars don't use oil for the steering wheel that the noise was most likely the alternator.and it has being getting louder.i am afraid that the car may break down. Alsoin the first month of buying the car i noticed the front train seemed loose but i was told nothing was wrong. Is there any recall for this? .also i looked up the recalls for my model and year of car and of all the ones that show up i have received only one recall and it was for a torch in the seat belt for front passenger side i have not received any of the others. I want to make sure that i have not been passed up in these recalls since 2013 to this date jan 2015 and that it be too late to request the repairs.

Keeping this simple, the car has less than 60,000 miles on it, and i was smelling gas.took it to the garage, and was told that the gas tank, near the talk, rusted as it probably was not sealed properly.how could this happen, it seems it is right around where it connects together.this is ridiculous, and should be recalled.i noticed that it was on cars, but not on this particular vehicle.this needs to be looked into,as it jeopardized the safety of myself and my child.

Driving down the interstate its about 85 degrees out and im going 70 mph. The transmission over heat light come on and it says to slow down. I didn't have a choice because the car started slowing down on its own. About 5 miles a pull over at a exit. I let it sit for about 15 minutes. Everything cleared up and i was able to make it home with no more problems.

Rear passenger seat belt and rear middle seatbelt were damaged by the seat being folded forward, rear middle belt is completely cut in half and rear passenger side belt is partially cut

A parking brake recall has not fixed the corrosion/locking of rear parking break calipers. Rolls while in gear and turned off-if on incline. Parking brake doesn't engage fully and then sticks but will not keep car from moving. Sticks while frozen or in warm weather.

The contact owns a 2013 mitsubishi outlander sport. The contact stated that while driving at various speeds and depressing the brake pedal, there was a loud clanking noise coming from the front drivers side brakes. The vehicle was taken several times to the dealer but the failure was undetermined. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The vin was not available. The approximate failure mileage was 3,000.

My vehicle has had over 10 recalls but mitsubishi has refused to properly fix any of the problems.i will attach a photo of the control arms and certain parts and recalls they cleared, and sent me on my way with. Now there is full suspension damage. Tire damage. And an entire list of other recalls that were never fixed by mitsubishi. Also airbag light, incorrect gas level. Windshield fluid leaking, and more. My front tire is about to fly off. There are problems with the struts. And no mechanic wants to touch it due to a strut recall and canā€™t even buy struts anywhere for my car. They have been taken off the market completely. I have a 8 year old child in this car. And both of our lives at risk. I have brought it to several mechanics and they are in shock at the damage and how we have survived. I have had to pay with my own money for certain repairs because mitsubishi said ā€œeverything looks fineā€¯ and sent me on my way. And now refuse to open a claim and pay it back. Or fix all the damage it has caused since the first control arm problem.i can get receipts and invoices together. But honestly the entire car is a huge liability and needs an immediate solution!

The contact owns a 2013 mitsubishi outlander sport. The contact stated that the rear top liftgate was rusted and the license plate was bubbled and corroded. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic who repaired the top liftgate however, the failure recurred. The contact was informed that it was a corrosion issue. The vehicle was taken to verhage mitsubishi (343 e 8th st, holland, mi 49423 (616) 396-3589) to be diagnosed. The contact was informed that the top liftgate needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was contacted and informed of the failure and referred the contact to nhtsa. The failure mileage was 47,000.

Tailgate is rusting near the lift gate handle and also both sides of the upper part near the glass where the tailgate meets the spoiler. I have been in contact with mitsubishi they will not honor any rust issues unless i am able to poke a hole through the affected areas. Meanwhile the car is clearly rusting and the plastic handle which is around the rusted area on the tailgate is coming loose due to the rust. There have been other complaints online of other people with the exact same rust issue.

Transmission is over heating after driving a short distance and fails to shift gears. Taken to a two seperate independent mechanics and was verified the transmission is the problem. I researched recalls and found the same issues with 2015-2016 outlander tansmissions.

Unless we are within 12 inches of the car the panic button does not work, this is an intermittent problem, however most of the time it does not work. We have made this complaint on numerous occasions and had arbitration and mitsubishi will not recognize the problem. I was in a public parking garage and i thought i was being followed and the panic button did not work (fortunately i was not being followed).

I had a recall notice by nhtsa about 3 months ago. I have been in contact with the dealership, jim marsh of nevada and they have been in touch with mitsubitshi who claims they have no replacement parts for this recall problem.what am i suppose to do now when i cannot drive the car if it is raining. Please advisethank you,[xxx]information redacted pursuant to the freedom of information act (foia), 5 u.s.c. 552(b)(6).

Takata recall a day ago me and my wife was riding down the highway on a rainy day then the wipers stopped we was in the middle of a busy highway pouring down rain. We could not see anything at all we almost got into 4 accidents. Sitting on the side of the road the highway safety came and helped us off the highway. I call the company they are saying they have no way to fix this problem also we had a baby in the car this would have been our lives gone
