Air bag replaced however continues to experience air bag warning light coming on.

Violent deployment of airbag during accident caused the glove compartment to fly out and hit passenger in the face and to lacerate drivers arm.nlm

The air bag warning light continuously flicked on and off while driving.the consumer is concerned that this may result in premature deployment or not deployment of the air bag.the dealer informed the consumer that they could not guarantee the air bag repair would cause the air bag to function in the event of an accident. *ph *nlm

While the vehicle was parked it caught on fire on its own. The fire department extinguished the fire.vehiclewas towed to a dealer for inspection. The vehicle was parked for 3 hours.the house was damaged by the fire.*tc

Horn malfunction - unexpected and sporadic blowing.

Around 50,000 the transmission has started to cut off . Please explain.tt

When starting ignition jams.can't start it or cut it off. Consumer felt this could happen in traffic and may be dangerous. The problemis found to be in side lower steering column assembly.

Consumer was having a seriousheadlight problems.headlights were so dim that when driving at night he veered off the road because the oncoming vehicles could barely see him. He was told by dealer that the reflector material inside the headlamps overheated and burned out. Consumerneeded helpto replace the headlights because it would cost over $1000.00, an d he did not have the money.

Protector shield omitted from rear brake line. Allowing dirt to accumulate in braking system. Also fuel line interference.tt

Broken shift tube assy, which snapped in two while parking the car, shifted in park, shift handle disengaged completely, leaving no transmission and no power, car rolled, replace shift tube.

While traveling at 20 mph, consumer states another vehicle traveling ahead came to an immediate stop. Consumers driver side front seat belt broke at the chest. Resulting in a chest injury.cause is unknown. Please describe further. Ts

Driver's seat belt is stuck within the driver's seat fromwhich it extends, causing the seat belt to become inoperable. Seat belt track weld separated, seat belt buckle disappeared into its opening and could not be retrieved.*ml

Rear wheels loss traction, causing vehicle to spin out of control, & kept spinningeven after rear wheels regained traction due to defective abs system.*skd

Anti-lock brake warning light illuminates intermittently.probable cause: miscommunication to driver and module sensors.

The brake pedal is hard to push and causes extended stopping distance whichmay result a crash.please provide further information.

When driving in wet weather, vehicle slides after coming to a complete stop.please describe.

While in motion, consumer experienced a blow out.the vehicle became hard to control in the middle of traffic.prior to the blowout, consumer had taken the vehicle to be serviced for tire rotation and because of a balloon like bubble on the sidewall of the left rear tire.the tech told consumer that the bubble was nothing but a joint in the tire and that it was safe to operate the vehicle.*jg(sears road handler by michelin. 1993 mercury marquis.while parked in the auto repair garage, the vehicle caught fire.after the fire was extinguished, the fire report indicated that the vehicle speed control was the possible cause of the fire.the shop was severely damaged along with the other vehicles that were present.the failure mileage was unknown. Updated 07/15/08 the consumer does not own the vehicle, he was doing repairs. Updated 07/15/08.

Received recall notice 99v124000. Contacted dealer. Informed consumer no parts were available for speed control. Would notify when parts become available.

Vehicle is experiencing a problem with the cruise control deactivation switch. Vehicle caught on fire while parked in the driveway. Owner notified the dealer and the manufacturer. This vehicle was not included in the current recall due to vin. Recall campaign; nhtsa campaign id number : 99v124000. Electrical fire under the hood.*tc

Dt:the contact's grandson took the vehicle to an automotive shop and the vehicle was left overnight and it caught onfire. The fire department said it was spontaneous combustion.they said itstarted from the engine compartment on the driver's side. Nhtsarecall99v124000 was issued concerning vehicle speed control:cruise control.however,the consumerstated she contacted ford, and this vehicle was not included in the recall due to vin.the fire department stated this was consistent with recall for the vehicle speed control switch. Consumer stated the vehicle had been sitting there for 15hours before it caught on fire. Prior to the vehicle catching on firethe contact'sgrandson hadto put the vehicle into neutral in order to get the vehicle to start.updated 12/27/05.

Power windows failed.

The windows in vehiclefall down into track and can open or close.power windows replaced 5 times.
