Ltr the defective esp control module "safety feature" which caused the speed to automatically... *mrwithout warning the safety suddenly activated and had become impossible to maintain a good speed on the highway.the speed was reduced to 20-30mph and had to stay in the far right lane.the problem was diagnosed as a faulty esp(electronic stability program) control module which had sent a false warning.the consumer requested information in reference to other owners of the same or like model who have experienced the same problem.(2002 s430)scc
Defective transmission in 2002 mercedes benz s430.*mr the repair records indicated the transmission was not the problem, but in fact the problem was caused by a defective esp sensor which sent out a false alarm toa safety device and without warning to the driver, it caused the engine power to be cut in half suddenly, the engine began to knock loudly and the vehicle started to vibrate while the speed of the vehicle was cut approximately in half.
Headlights automatically come on at night, and cannot be easily turned off which sometimes causes a glaring light to other drivers and vehicles.driver has to stop/ turn on interior lights, and reprogram vehicle to get headlights off. Error indesign. Drivers or rear windows can not opened from inside.
While drivingdashlight fordoor system comes on, indicating one or more of the doors are not closed properly. Please add further details.
