2014 m-b glk350 was traveling on a six lane road: three lanes in the north direction; three lanes in the south direction.glk350 was traveling in the north direction right lane at approx. 15 mph when it was broadsided on the driver's side by a pickup truck who was coming from the south direction. The pickup truck made an illegal left hand turn and crossed over three lanes of travel in an accelerating mode before impact with the glk350.the pickup truck was traveling at least 25 mph.impact zone on the glk350 was centered below a-pillar in the vicinity of the firewall, a very well reinforced area. No airbags were deployed during this impact --- especially curtain and sidebody bags.driver was injured ( concussion ); passenger was injured and died ( complications of traumatic brain injury - concussion as stated on death certificate ). This appears to be a major malfunction in the safety aspects of having 9 airbags as marketed by this manufacturer. Additionally, m-brace telemetrics system did not automatically engage with this hard impact asking us if we needed assistance or to summons a police officer.... Nothing !..updated 10/28/14

The recall letter states that deployment of the passenger-side airbag can cause "... Serious injury or death." because of this warning, we are unable to accept passengers and are forced to limit driving the car without risking harm (or death) to ourselves or others.the recall notification letter was received in early 2019, but are told that parts necessary for the repair are estimated to be available in the 3rd quarter of 2020 (~18 months). For this extended time, we are expected to drive this car without regard to risk of injury or death; which is unacceptable to us. Not to mention the duress and anxiety placed upon us during this time.there seems to be no hurry or rush on behalf of mercedes, and their efforts to bring the airbag manufacturer (takata) seem negligent.when asked of the possibility to replace the airbag at our own expense, the local service rep advised us that this part is not available.to conclude, we feel this situation places us at undue duress and extended exposure to injury or death, should an accident occur prior to the "scheduled" repair.

Incomplete recall 2019010001 (nhtsa recall number19v010) needs to be completed asap. This car has been dangerous for far too long. I can't imagine a safety feature shooting a projectile at one of my passengers, which is exactly what my airbag will do in the event of an airbag deployment due to collision.

We started to develop a strong smell of gas inside the vehicle. I started to research online to find that many mercedes models have the same problem, a crack develops on a cap that houses the fuel pump under the back seat inside the vehicle. This permits gas fumes to enter the vehicle, let alone actual gasoline to collect above the cap and leaking under the seat inside the vehicle. Some people try to just patch it with epoxy and attempt to replace parts. But this problem seems to be ongoing for years on various models and obviously is a design flaw that needs immediate attention by the manufacturer. You need to drive with the windows open and if the vehicle is parked overnight, you cannot enter the vehicle for a long time in the morning, until it aerates.

In december 2019 i was on the expressway and the traffic was bumper to bumper. I was driving behind a lady and when she stopped i went to put my feet on the brakes and the brakes went to the floor and my car hit her. I had my car repaired of course and paid my deductible. My car was driving pretty regular after being repaired. Then inaugust 2020 the same thing happened again. I was driving to get on the expressway and as i was entering the expressway as i begin to stop because a car was in front of me and my brakes went to thefloor again and i hit the driver in front of me. I am a good driver having driven a mail truck on my job for years and i never hit anyone before in my life while driving any vehicle. I just want to report mu vehicle issue. Thank you very much.

2014 m-b glk350 was traveling on a six lane road: three lanes in the north direction; three lanes in the south direction.glk350 was traveling in the north direction right lane at approx. 15 mph when it was broadsided on the driver's side by a pickup truck who was coming from the south direction. The pickup truck made an illegal left hand turn and crossed over three lanes of travel in an accelerating mode before impact with the glk350.the pickup truck was traveling at least 25 mph.impact zone on the glk350 was centered below a-pillar in the vicinity of the firewall, a very well reinforced area. No airbags were deployed during this impact --- especially curtain and sidebody bags.driver was injured ( concussion ); passenger was injured and died ( complications of traumatic brain injury - concussion as stated on death certificate ). This appears to be a major malfunction in the safety aspects of having 9 airbags as marketed by this manufacturer. Additionally, m-brace telemetrics system did not automatically engage with this hard impact asking us if we needed assistance or to summons a police officer.... Nothing !..updated 10/28/14

Rolling, because of gear shift lever, you have to push button to get it into park automatic, jeep just had a recalled for the same thing.my mecerde roll on me several time. It easy to forget to push button if you don't it stay in neutral
