The steering column stalk controls drive, reverse, neutral and parking. I stopped the vehicle on an incline in a parking lot. I had my foot on the brake. I shifted into neutral. The engine was still running. I thought i pushed the park button but the car rolled back into another vehicle.

When i was pulling into a parking spot at a low speed, the car accelerated and lurched forward, hitting a wall, which deployed the airbags. When the car started to accelerate, i hit the brakes but they did not engage.

While slowly accelerating the transmission made a loud bang and the car slowed to a crawl in the middle of an intersection nearly causing a major accident, steering was nearly gone as well with no response from accelerator. The vehicle display also said it lost communication with the key which was in the vehicle.

The contact owns a 2018 mercedes-benz glc300. The contact received a recall notice for nhtsa campaign number: 18v177000 (structure, seat belts) months ago. The dealer (zt motors of fort walton beach, 1000 n beal pkwy nw, fort walton beach, fl 32547, (850) 863-2167) stated that parts were unavailable and did not know when they would arrive. The manufacturer was contacted to determine when the part would be supplied to the dealer. The vin was not available. The contact had not experienced a failure.

The seat belt latch plates (the parts that insert into the buckles) for the rear seat retracted into the interior paneling, preventing the occupant from being able to use the seat belt.(refer to similar recall # 18v177000).although there was a recall for the same issue, my vin was not included.i was ultimately able to fix it on my own by fishing it out from the interior panel with my fingers which was difficult to do.it is not clear how it happened, but we think it was after the rear seat was down and when it was returned to it's normal position it pushed the latch plate into the interior.we contacted our local mb dealership and were told nothing could be done since the vin was not on the recall even though we had the same exact issue as the recall.

When braking, the brakes make a grinding noise. This happens any time you apply the brakes when i am backing out of the garage of my home and when i stop at stop signs and stop lights and when traffic is at a stand still on the main thoroughfare. The noise will eventually cease depending on how often the brakes are applied. This is an ongoing issue that started in august, 2018 and continues as of february 10, 2019.

Breaks continually squeak in reverse on colder mornings at slow speeds.even if the car warms up for several minutes, the loud squeaking does not stop.

The brakes squeal very loud and i am constantly having to brake hard several times to make this noise temporarily go away. I have taken it to mercedes and they say that this is not under warranty. I took the suv once early on after the car was purchased. The dealer told me to brake hard a few times and this would go away. It didn't i took the car three times to the dealer until finally they replaced the rear brake pads but tried to charge me for it. The brakes continued to squeal. I took it to and independent garage to have the pads replaced at my own expense since mercedes doesn't know how to fix the problem. Now the brakes are still squealing and are very annoying. If i do not get this fixed, i'll never buy another mercedes. This only happens when moving and brakes are usually cold but sometimes it squeals regardless if it is cold or not. Very annoying problem.

I am having an issue of squeaky brake.it usually happens in snowing day or day after from front wheel.but, it would have happened at sunny day too.it sounds very loud, so annoying.i took my car mercedes dealership where i leased the car.for the first time, they fixed.according to the invoice, the technician found and confirmed the issue of squeaky comes from rear wheel. But, it happens now at front.it is pretty much doubtful about whether they did good job or not.i attach a link of youtube which i recorded the issue my self.please volume-up and watch the video.https://youtu.be/mc6ahevk8bithank you

My work heels got stuck between the carpet and gas pedal creating a driving hazard. There is a gap that is dangerous and after notifying the dealer and mb, they said that i should not wear work heels. I am a professional woman and wear business shoes. The heel got stuck causing me to drive with no shoes on the freeway.

My heel got stuck when pressing the gas pedal creating a safety hazard. My shoe was stuck and i had to drive barefoot. I took it to the mercedes calabasas dealership and they said there was nothing they could do and i should not wear heels when driving. I have driven for over 30 years with no issues.

August 8, 2019 while parking my car in a gas station and going at a low rate of speed i experienced a sudden acceleration of my vehicle. I was unable to stop the car and as a result hit the side of a building. The car was towed and repaired. Mercedes corporate was notified and they senta mechanic to check the car. On august 21, 2019 i was informed that mercedes found no evidence of a malfunction. I was also informed that i could not have the car evaluated by a third party. Around october of 2019 i had my vehicle returned to me from the collision center. On october 24, 2019, again while i was parking on my streetat a low speed the vehicle accelerated, this time i was able to put it in neutral, apply the brakes and avoid an accident. Again, i called mercedes and the car was then taken to the dealership. Once at the dealership i was told that they could not look at the car until mercedes corporate gave them the ok. I waited three weeks and was then told the car had no problems. When i picked up the car i did ask if the dealership checked the car and i was told no. Mercedes sent someone to look at the vehicle. When i got home i opened the hood and found it full of dried leaves. I garage my car but it looked like the car sat on the lot for three weeks in the weather. I am still driving this vehicle and waiting for it to happen again. I would hate to sell it and have someone have a serous accident. I also tried to have a local mechanic check the vehicle but they did not want to get involved with the issue.

Was driving down highway during clear sunny day on 12/21/18 at about 2:30 pm on i-10 east just outside of houston when my sunroof suddenly exploded outward. No signs of any debris being flung up or striking sunroof and there were no vehicles close to us at the time.

Brought my glc300 in for service once i received a recall letter from benz. I was told the recall service would take 2-3 hours. However, once i put the car in the shop (1/10/2019), i was told the unit will not update and a replacement unit was ordered. Afterdays in the shop, i picked up my car but the new unit did not include android auto ( worked before ) which i paid for so i was told to leave the car overnight again to fix it. The next day, i called and no one knew what was going on and now, 3 days later, i still have not heard when my car is expected to be fixed. I've called service multiple times and have only heard that they will get back to us soon but no update calls came i have to called the services on and off,. It seems that my car was passed back and forth to different service advisors because of their off schedule but no one follows up on my car. This one recall fix that should have taken only 2-3 hours, have now become over 6 days and still counting. This car is 6 months old with less than 400 miles - it should not take over 6 days to fix an issue, especially a software issue which is what i'm told. I'm not waiting on a part to come in so why is it taking days for my car to be ready? i'm following up on this issue day after day as is my daughter (xxxx)parts of this document have been redacted to protect personally identifiable information pursuant to the freedom of information act (foia), 5 u.s.c. 552(b)(6).
