1) the truck opens for no reason whether the car is parked or driven without trunk feature being activated. This happens when driving down a 4 lane highway at night and day. 2) collision prevention of light displayed & won't go off. (see attached). Google indicates that the passenger air bag has an issue.

Recall issued in march 2019; mercedes says earliest it will replace is nov. 2020. Problem is exacerbated by heat and humidity; i live in houston, where heat & humidity both high. Failure can cause serious injury or death...why allowing mercedes to take nearly two years. Ntsha, do your job!

The contact owns a 2015 mercedes-benz cla250. While driving approximately 40 mph, the contact noticed a construction site on the side of the road and a wooden light pole in the middle of the road. The vehicle began to skid due to wet pavement and crashed head on into the light pole. The frontal air bags did not deploy. The supplemental restraint system warning indicator illuminated after the crash. The contact sustained injuries to the neck, head, and back and was transported to the hospital via ambulance. The contact was kept at the hospital for three days and released. The vehicle was towed to the dealer (greenwich mercedes-benz, 261 west putnam avenue, greenwich, connecticut 06830). The vehicle was then towed to a collision center for repairs. A police report was filed. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 30,000.

Since october, they have not taken any initiative to repair or gather the parts to make the repair and i've been fearful to even drive it .

Received letter 2/5/19 regarding takata passenger side airbag recall. As of 9/20/19, mercedes provided october 2020 as an eta.as of 9/28/20, mercedes can give me no estimated dates for replacement. I have been driving a known unsafe vehicle for 20 months with no end in sight.

Takata recall. The contact owns a 2015 mercedes-benz cla250. The contact received notification of nhtsa campaign number: 19v010000 (air bags). The contact stated that the manufacturer exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The dealer and manufacturer were not made aware of the issue. The contact had not experienced a failure. The vin was unknown.

I was involved in an accident 12/14/17, in which my car was totaled. I was driving on a three lane highway when someone hit me on my rear passenger side panel & then i hit a light pole head on. The cars were going at least 65mph or more. My airbags did not deploy from the initial impact (which blew out my rear passenger window on impact) or the car hitting the pole(the pole came completely down on impact). I have the investigation form & the police report number if needed.

While the vehicle is stationary, engine off,all doors closed, and after locking the door using the smart key locking button or the keyless locking function (touching the door handle), all four doors appear to be lock (can visibly see lock move down to lock position). However, without the smart key nearby, the rear doors can still be open.

I bought mercedes cla 2015 on jan 2015 and i drove the vehicle wheremy audio system used to reboot time to time once in a while but it used to come up. So i did not mention and take it to dealer that time but recently, after driving 53k mile, it completely stopped working and only rebooting itself. Later i found out there was recall about2015/2016 cla audio recall "reference tsb no. 2015110001". So i took it to dealer "mercedes benz houston greenway" and they said they can not update unless they change control unit. I also called mercedes benz customer service but they also same thing. So i paid 50% cost which is $1457. This looks unfair to me because it had issue and it has recall too.i need proper help here as this does not look right to me and i am starting my voice here to resolve this issue.

The command unit reboots every 2 minutes with the car on or off.it kills the battery. This is a safety issue as the battery discharges. We have seen dozens of customer complaints online. Mercedes charged 157.00 and wants another 500--600 for diagnostics.the car has 52,000 miles and just went out of warranty.

Immediately after entering a freeway from an on-ramp at approximately 60mph, warning chimes for collision indicator deactivated came on, auto-dampening of engine speed occurred, and auto-braking occurred. No vehicles were directly in front of vehicle, nor near enough to side or rear cause proximity sensors to activate. The only remedy for this was to limp to the side of the road (in rush hour traffic), turn off car, and then turn back on. All indicators and warnings were cleared upon restarting vehicle. This is the second time this has happened within 12-months.

I received a recall letter from mercedes in november 2017 and have not received further information pertaining to repair or replace parts needed.

If something in the roadway hits the oil pan it will crack and causing the engine to lock up without notice. It seems there should be something protecting the oil pan preventing this from happening and more time notifying of low oil should be allowed to move off the road way and shut the engine down. I also question the strength of the material or design of the oil pan.

There was an issue with the water pump, mb has since replaced the product with a new one because of issues with the old style not working.my car is just over the warranty and has on 10,270 miles on it and is now experiencing the overheating issue (warranty ended december 2018). If the problem with old style water pump was known why not notify customers? when the vehicle is on, driving or running stationary the engine overheats.

)n 6/15/20 while driving to a doctors appointmenton the highway, my engine suddenly overheated and it warned me to pull over immediately.the vehicle had 37,800 miles on it.on diagnosis, it was found that a valve in the water pump had seized from a coolant leak, preventing it from opening and circulating coolant into the engine. Unfortunately, the car was just out of warranty.,

My collision assist keeps deactivating while driving. This causes my car to go into neutral. However there is not read of an issue with my vehicle per dealership

Ml 250 blu tech diesel. 55,000 miles. Vehicle had been previously maintained only by mercedes benz and every recommended service had been completed timely by only mercedes benz. 1 month out of warranty and the car was inspected by mercedes 30 days prior and given a clean bill of health. No warning lights ever came on prior to or during the incident.this complaint is very similar to another on your website also involving the same parts.vehicle was completely stopped at a major 4 way intersection.when i tried to make a left turn a horrible loud grinding noise was heard from the back of the vehicle.the vehicle just seized. When i tried to go shift into park, the brakes failed to work, steering was incredibly difficult.the car had to be pushed off the highway and towed to mercedes. Diagnoses was front drive shaft broken and 2 rear coil springs broken simultaneously.i have had many vehicles never had i heard of a drive shaft breaking at 55,000 and certainly never simultaneously with rear coil springs. The car is driven under normal circumstances, no towing no excessive weight, etc. Mercedes was contacted, the offered a 5% discount as a "good will"gesture but refused to stand behind their product and advised this was not part of a prior recall. They further stated when the car was checked 30 days prior the drive shaft and coil springs are not discover-able.

The vehicle after starting would not go into gear from park.the message on the dash read "service required do not shift gears visit dealer".the vehicle was unable to be put in gear to drive or neutral only park..

My concern is brake and rotors. I replaced brakes a few months after purchasing my vehicle in 2020. My dealership was not helpful about experience. I asked why brakes were not inspected b4 purchase and after several calls repairs were done. It's been 1 year and vehicle has not been driven much due to covid. Now having same problems with shaking again.. I feel brakes are a on going problem with this model and i need answers. I have read many complaints on line about this problem with brakes rotors on cla250 mercedes benz .please help

Car taken to mercedes benz service department on 1/3/2018 for collision assist system failure on 12/30/2017 causing car to lose power, collision assist system warning alert, auto braking (all at highway speed while entering highway from on-ramp). Only solution was to limp to side of freeway and turn off car, then restart. All warnings cleared, car returned to normal state. Able to drive. Occurred twice before (12/22/2017 and 12/23/2017). After receiving car back from mercedes benz service department, reported issue was ca sensor was loose in its seat after visual inspection. Reported to have replaced sensor and re-seated, initial startup on ca module including update and calibration, test drive of 9 miles without incident, reported as "everything functioning at this time". Vehicle retrieved from mb on 1/4/2018. On 1/6/2018, issue occurred again after making right hand turn on surface road and accelerating to approximately 25 mph (45 mph zone). Same situation: loss of power, auto dampening, collision assist warning and chimes. Taking vehicle back to mb service department. This is a known issue among 2015 mb cla250s, as reported on mbworld blog site - https://mbworld.org/forums/c-class-w205/584375-collision-prevention-assist-plus-inoperative-error.html.

Sunroof is faulty in this model. Mercedes have recalled earlier models due to similar issue. The have recalled 750k cars today due to this issue and we are seeing similar problems in our 2015 c class. This issue is very serious and dangerous as the sunroof could potentially fly offmyself and my wife were driving at normal speed on the highway when we suddenly heard the noise. When we stopped by to check the issue, it seemed like the sunroof was getting detached. When we tried to close it, it made a big bang noise as if something has not been placed correctly. Ever since the sunroof has not been closed properly and we could hear the wind noise inside. This happened couple of months ago

I checked the carfax report for my car and there is a minor damage reported on 01/27/2020. It s not correct. My car never had any damage. Never. And there`s nothing there showing who did this report so i understand that it is a mistake and should be fixed please. Thank you.

Sunroof shade has un-glued itself in a matter of time that would not seem to be consistent with mercedes benz quality spec.

The collision assist has malfunctioned since i bought this car in 2016 from the mercedes dealer on capital expressway in san jose.they will not fix it, they turned it off and now i have a warning light that will not go away.before i had it turned off, it used to break suddenly and make a loud noise and flash lights when driving down the street for no reason. It was a distraction that could cause an accident.the dealership phone number is 408-579-9087, i spoke with scott fuller and brian woods

All 4 tires have blown out, something is wrong with this vehicle. I have never hit anything to make them blow, just normal careful driving. They are blowing out for no reason and it's a safety hazarddates2/11/20182/17/20183/1/2018and the first tire blew approx march 2016

Gas cap door does not unlock/open intermittently. Unfortunately, it's happened as my low gas warning light is on. The first incident after trying countless times at the pump i left back to home and the next morning the door was open. Took it to the shop and mb svc tech could not duplicate the problem. This morning it happened again,............took me about 20 mins of trying to open the lid (somewhat like a push spring-loaded type function) and when i gave up and put car into reverse it opened while in motion.what happens when i need gas and it doesn't open?

While driving to work on a freeway i suddenly heard a blasting sound and next thing what i saw was there were glass pieces everywhere on my body and in the car. The panoramic moon roof of my car exploded out of no reason. I am very sure that nothing hit the roof or fall on the roof. The freeway was wide open and fortunately i was wearing sunglasses so my eyes didn't hurt by the explosion. However, after taking a medical leave from work and having checked up at the hospital i decided to take the car to mbenz dealership to report what happened to the car and know why it happened. Surprisingly instead of looking into the incident they decided to avoid the issue and indirectly accused me of causing it by myself. I was very shocked and disappointed by the way a situation and the customer was handled. I'd urge nhtsa to take further action to make sure such incidents do not happen to other mbenz car owners. While doing research on internet i found out that my incident is not the only incident , there are many other mbenz owners reported the same complaint about sudden shattering of their glass roof.
