My car wouldn't start.i have been waiting for a recall part since february. Last night i had an srs malfunction passenger seat airbag.mercedes told me today i don't have a recall for airbags but i think it is a takata airbag problem that's hasn't been reported for my vehicle yet.

12/6/17 airbag frontal,8/31/17 electrial system starter assembly,8/31/17 engine and engine cooling engine,4/21/17 electrical system software and 4/21/17 airbag frontal sensor/control module.recall on these parts.

Every time i start my car it smells like gas and it's so strong to the point where it gives me headaches. Also i was on the freeway and the roads were wet from previous rain and i almost died and hydroplaned on the freeway. Even if it's a small bit of rain my car starts shaking as if i don't have control. I do not feel safe in this car and i just got the car a month ago.

The contact owns a 2015 mercedes-benz c-300. The contact stated that while driving approximately 30 mph. A police officer had pulled over another vehicle ahead on the right side of the road. The vehicle in front made a complete stop. As a result, in transitioning the far left lane the contact rear ended the vehicle in an attempt to avoid the police officeras he was going down to complete an inspection on the underbelly of the dump truck. The contact mentioned that none of her safety sensors (side or front responded) indicating that she was near a vehicle illuminated. The steering wheel airbag deployed upon impact. The knee air bag deployed after the impact of the crash. As the knee air bag was deploying with force caused the contacts right foot to get stuck and bones to crack resulting in various breaks in her right foot. The electrical system shut down and the contact was unable to start oradjust her seat in order to release her foot from the knee air bag as pressure was building up in the bag . The vehicle was towed to an impound lot. A police report was filed. The contact was transported to the hospital via ambulance where she was treated for her fractured right foot. It was unknown if the dealer or the manufacturer were contacted. The failure mileage was 100,000.

Was driving on city street, and the collision prevention assist disabled warning sign came on and i lost power to the car. I'm told this is called "limp mode." i tried to pick up speed by pressing throttle to the floor, but got no reaction at all.then some power came back, but not much.each time i braked to stop for light or turn this would happen.after i got home i restarted the engine and it seemed normal again.however i was afraid to drive it, especially since in the last six months my power steering also failed, and had it towed to dealer.they ran tests and no code for failure was found.they said they found some software updates which they did.unfortunately, after i picked up the car from service i saw that my main complaint wasn't even mentioned.only that i sometimes had problem with collision control warning going off for no apparent reason.

The vehicle's collision prevention assistant plus option often displays during driving.this causes the car to lose acceleration and prevents you from accelerating regardless of how hard you press the gas pedal.this happens for no apparent reason and occurs while in the midst of driving, usually within a busy intersection and has also happened to me several times while driving on the highway. I am very afraid to drive this vehicle. The only way to correct this when it occurs is to pull off the road, shut the car down, and restart the engine after a few minutes. My car was serviced on 1/13/18 and when tested, no evidence of this was found. Since then, this malfunction happened on 1/14 and again today 1/15.this malfunction has the potential to be catastrophic.i've advised the dealer this needs to be serviced and fixed, otherwise we will be asking for a new vehicle for the remainder of the lease.i am very fearful to drive the car, especially with our two young children.

While i was driving on the highway & local roads, the car suddenly became unresponsive and started showing messages that all systems are inoperative. Pre safe functions limited, and inoperative traction control light comes on along with the blindspot not activated, esp system was off as well. The car started slowing down and had to be pulled over to turn off and on.this has happened 3-4 times and on busy roads, car is sent to the shop and only has 27000 miles.i am scared to drive as i could die in a car accident because of this [xxx] car.mercedes need to recall this asap, if they are not then we should open a class action lawsuit against them as they are playing with our lives.information redacted pursuant to the freedom of information act (foia), 5 u.s.c. 552(b)(6).

Entertainment unit does not work at all. Happened out of nowhere one day turned on the car and it was frozen. Back up camera 9/10 times does not work and when it does it turns on after you have backed up and are already going forward. Unit freezes unable to change or do anything to the unit itself. Occasionally a blue screen pops up for 1-2 seconds and goes tothe initial start up screen for a while. I went to my local dealership and the admitted of hearing about this problem from other owners with the same issue and said there was nothing that could be done cause they have no idea how to fix it, i mean that's absurd.

I have a 2015 mercedes benz c300. I have not even owned the car for one year and i have already had a whole list of problems that are not being resolved. The stereo quit working, the back up camera doesn't work, the ac works on and off, and my hands free does not work at all. This all happened one day when i turned on my car to leave work. The stereo was frozen and it has stuck like that. Mercedes has not sent out a recall or any notification at all. I took the car to the dealership and they sent it back with no idea of when it will be fixed.

There is a serious problem with the vehicle mentioned above. The entertainment system and the rear camera do not work. This is a serious safety concern regarding the rear camera. The c-class is designed in such way that you depend on the camera when reversing and it is very difficult to see the rear view when backing and looking from all angles.i called your hq in maryland for assistance, they were unaware of potential reported problems. Their best answer was to call the dealership. The following day, i received a phone call from new country motor cars mercedes benz of hartford, ct stating that they have not heard of this problem and its very unlikely that it was associated with the recent recall regarding this vehicle. Upon arrival, and retelling my story to the service advisor helder crespo, he told me that their received numerous complaints about this particular vehicle make and that other customers are affected by this similar problem.it been three weeks, i have not heard anything from mb or dealership. I am quiet appalled by this matter and shocked by the improper communication from mb to their loyal customers. Is this 'the best of nothing' customer relation?! i am extremely dissatisfied how this matter is being handled and that not even one single person who knew about this issue did not even apologize for the inconveniences that this had cased me.

Speakers randomly stop working - sometimes for a few hours and other times for up to 5 days. When speakers are not working, this means the stereo, navigation, bluetooth calls, and emergency calls are inaccessible.this is a problem for many drivers please click on the link below.https://mbworld.org/forums/c-class-w205/701679-stereo-issue-my-2015-c300.html

While driving on the highway in the passing lane, a warning message indicated the accident avoidance system was malfunctioning. This deactivated the accelerator, i had no control of the car, squeezed between cars and coasted to a stop. Turned off car and called mercedes. Car was restarted with no issues indicated, drove the car home. Next day on the highway did it again, went directly to dealership. They had the car 4 days, said it was a computer code issue and was fixed. Less than a month later it did it again driving 25mph in my neighborhood. Called mercedes, they are picking the car up. I no longer trust the car, will not let family drive it because it becomes disabled....

New car purchases in 2015, fewer than 25000 miles. While driving locally, "collision prevention assist" malfunction and "check engine" lights lit up the dash board. Vehicle would not pick up speed and driving was weird. Was able to drive to dealership which is about 8 miles away. Situation could be potentially dangerous if happens on a highway and it warrants attention.

While driving "collision prevention assist plus inoperative" message appears on dashboard.car loses its ability to accelerate.occurred twice (january 2015) on city streets forcing me to pull over to the side of the road and restart my car, the error disappears and i am able to drive normally.4/7/16 occurred while traveling 65mph on an interstate.i lost ability to accelerate and was almost rear-ended by a semi-truck.the vehicle was serviced at a mercedes dealership on 1/11/16 the highway incident occurred after the "fix".it is currently back at the dealership being tested by the service department.i am told the current fix is to replace all the senors.i have opened a case with mbusa to repurchase the vehicle given the initial repair did not work and put me in perilous highway situation.i purchased the vehicle in october of 2015.

The contact was concerned that the failure would result in a crash. When driving on the bridge the piece of my sunroof flew off i pulled over it was raining and the inside of my car got wet the motor on my sunroof no longer works as the water leaked through. I picked up as much of the pieces as i could but the part was run over.

When accelerating with my mercedes c300, the car is actually loosing power. The effect is reinforced as the controlling system is blocking the acceleration.result is that the car is braking suddenly instead of accelerating. It is particularly dangerous when trying to pass another car on the high way as the car will brake. I almost experienced twice an accident on the highway due to this acceleration/bake issue. Ibrought my car to an independent mercedes repair center. They confirmed to me that mercedes issued a technical bulletin for an electrical cable replacement due to that failure. The issue described on the tb is identical to the experience issue. I contacted my mercedes dealership service department. They informed me there is no recall and don't consider this issue a safety issue. They won't replace the electrical cable unless i paid for the "service". The cable has not been damaged or disconnected. It is simply faulty and mercedes knows the issue as they issued a tb for the vehicle.

I receive warning after i pass 5 mph speed if any of the passenger doors or trunk is open.the car needs to notify me as soon as it goes into drive mode. Manufacturers response has been quoted below."we tested a c300 here.if the driver door is open, there is an immediate message when the vehicle is put in gear (forward or reverse).however, all other doors receive a message at approximately 5 mph.mercedes-benz recommends that the driver make sure all passengers are in seatbelts and the doors are secured. "

Passenger side airbag light keeps coming on when someone is sitting in the car. My electrical system shuts off and on and goes haywire

The car has intermittent starting issues more noticeably during eco start / stop process. When car does an eco stop at red light or stop but it is unable to restart consistently (10-20% fail rate). All dashboard lights come on and car is stalled. Car can roll if on a hill. Car can be restarted by turning car on and off manually. Only error code is p1ce200 but the manufacturer suggested steps do no solve problem. Battery, auxillary battery, starter, voltage dip limiter, battery sensor, starter relay were replaced. Delear unable to find problem and says all software is up to date.

On 11/1/14 i filed a complaint about safety issues with my new 2015 mercedes, c300 (odi # 10664470) that pertained to debris entering the engine compartment from the top, near the windshield, and other issues with the command "radio", "touch pad" & keyless entry locking systems.i understand these systems are not proprietary to mercedes and so are in many other luxury models.i've rec'd no feedback from the daimler corp or from your office.now a new issue developed where the keyless go wouldn't allow me to either enter the vehicle or sound the "panic" alarm.the company doesn't know how or why this could happen or how to fix it.i'm especially concerned with the inability to use the panic button, which is there in case of a criminal or medical emergency.what a surprise when you go for it and it doesn't work.there is no back up should the battery fail to work.i believe this is another safety issue with this car and would appreciate it if your office would take me seriously and contact me before someone is injured or killed..thank you..

While accelerating from a stop light from 0 to slightly over 40 mph received error code of anti collision assist inoperableand the vehicle went from 40 mph to 0 like i hit a tree.it was not a slow smooth motion of slowing to a stop. This was a violent stop throwing me forward and caused my seat belts to activate. It should be noted that there was not a single person in front of me, behind me or beside me.this was nothing short of a miracle because if anyone had been behind me, i would have been rear ended and if anyone had been in the right hand lane i would have hit them as the vehicle pulled to the right very hard when it malfunctioned. I took the car to the dealer and told them i did not want the car back unless they could determine what had happened and could promise that it would never happen again. Upon reading so many complaints about the same life threatening electrical malfunction, there is no possible way that mercedes benz is not fully awareof the potential for serious injury or death.i have called mb usa and was told that i would need to file a customer inquiry. Done. I purchased the vehicle in april 2016 with 7,200 miles on it.i am completely terrified to drive the car.

The contact owns a 2015 mercedes benz c300. While driving at various speeds, the accelerator pedal was depressed but the vehicle would not accelerate. Soon after purchasing mercedes, discovered the following potentially hazardous safety issues (all of these features are standard): 1) new "keyless-go locking system is factory programmed tounlock all doors when key is in owner's possession & rear driver's door handle is touched, allowing intruder(s) to easily enter other side of vehicle.2) new command/computer/touch pad system, controls various operational functions, like radio, encouraging driver to take eyes off the road to operate. Touchpad requires driver to make "mouse-like" actions on computer pad (located on console) while simultaneously driving.3) new air flow & vent system, circulates air from grill to windshield, allowing leaves & other debris, incl. Water, to enter engine compartment at the top of hood.debris lodged here could potentially result in overheating & cause fire or result in damage to wiring and/or other components of the engine.4) letters (w/pictures) sent to mbusa, ceo, resulted in phone calls from subordinate staff, rejecting outright each complaint but advising that debris in engine area is "normal" &customer's responsibility to remove.letter to daimler's ceo in germany was referred back to mbusa.5) asking for your intervention before these problems potentiallyresult in injury or fatality.if this is not the office to investigate & intervene, please forward to the correct agency & adviseaccordingly. Can provide additional info. On request. Thankyou...

Collusion prevention system inoperative. Causes car to slow slow down and or stop while on the road. Poses a severe life threatening driving condition for me and other drivers. Many other mercedes benz owners across the usa, canada, and japan are complaining of the same error message and issues. My mbusa advisor stated her vehicle is doing the same thing. My service advisor at the dealership stated its mice that are eating the wires. I am taking my vehicle to two other mechanics for opinions on the cause of the error message. I have documents from other mercedes benz owners who have complained of the same issue and error message.

Two issues, purchased a certified pre owned vehicle.at 8900 miles, we noticed the car was idling very rough on a cold start, almost the sound of a diesel. The sound would resolve after 10 minutes of driving. Service informed us that there was a recall on the rods and pistons. We had the engine rebuilt, and the noise is the same, if not worse. The car sounds nothing like laterbuild '15 models or '16 models, nor does it run as smoothly. Secondly, 5 occurrences involvedinoperative collision prevention assist warnings and inoperative anti-skid warnings appearing on the dash causing the car to reduce operating speed to 20mph max. Car needed to be shut off and restarted after a 5 minute period each time these warnings appeared, in order to drive over 20mph. The vehicle was serviced for these warnings twice. The first service diagnosed the car with a coding issue. The second, involved replacing modules. This all occurred during the two months of owning the car. We notices several similar complaints regarding the early build 2015 c300s, and decided to cut our losses and purchase another vehicle. We did not feel safe in that car.

Check engine light and check oil light came on in rush hour traffic in atlant during rush hour. Car started sputtering and finally made it to the shoulder of the interstate and oil was low on the dip stick. I added oil and a day later same thing. Took it to the dealer and cracked piston in #1 cylinder service guy said about 3 to 6 a day on this year benz.

Loud engine knocking when engine is cold. Diagnosed as incorrect/unfavorable tolerances ofpiston wrist pins that will ultimately lead to engine failure. Diagnosis happened with odometer at 2,438 miles.

In march of 2020 i was driving home from work. I stopped at a red light. When it turned green, i proceeded to step on the gas. My car started making noises and shaking as i drove. My check engine light came on. I was able to pull over without incident. My vehicle has under 48k miles on it! i had it towed to a firestone facility by my house. They replaced spark plugs and ignition coil 1 and 2. They said it was still severely misfiring. Cylinder 1 must have internal damage and should be towed to the dealer. They gave me a spark plug they removed that had significant damage to the top part. They said something must have impacted it with significant force. I then had the vehicle towed to a mercedes benz dealership. They said they inspected with a scope and found piston material missing, can see ring exposed and have damage to cylinder wall. Will need to replace engine, turbo charger, cat converter intake manifold to repair. They wanted $18k to repair. I did some research and found out that the 2015 mercedes c class was the first year they switched from 6 cylinder to 4 cylinder turbo charge engine. These models have had a significant amount of engine problems and failures, the manufacturer is aware of. Many of these occurred in cylinder 1 along with wrist pins issues and others. I found my situation wasn't unique. I then filed a complaint with the bbb in georgia. Mbusa offered me $3k towards the repair or purchase of a new vehicle. I declined the offer. I only wanted my vehicle repaired. I wasn't alone in this situation. These issues are easily found online. My vehicle has since been sitting in my driveway for almost a year and a half. I've been making my monthly car and insurance payments on a vehicle i can't drive. I recently went to the mercedes dealership and they will give me $5k for the vehicle towards a trade, leaving me with $15k negative equity towards the purchase of a vehicle. Mercedes should stand behind their products and do the right thing

While driving on the highway my my mercedes benz c300 2015 with 37000 miles ,engine broke, and you are not expecting that when you are driving at 65 mph. The mechanic is saying it isa wrist pin and a cracked #1 piston and it is a very common issue on that car and mercedes refuses to recall or fix the problem im going to leave a link with one of the many webpages with al lot of people complaining about that problem. Thank you. Https://mbworld.org/forums/c-class-w205/731642-w205-c300-stay-away-piston-cracked-65-k-miles.html

While the vehicle in motion, hearing a loud sounds coming from the engine. At first it's sounded like a rock in a tin can, later it was a slapping sound. About 10 minutes later finally got off the highway and turned in to my neighbor hood. At the last right turn, the car seized up. Tried to restart nothing happened. Good thing it was around 11pm there was no traffic or as many cars on the road. If it were it could probably just stop on the middle of the highway. The car is at the dealership and saying it needs a new engine, costing about 13k. Which is absolutely ridiculous, there was no signs of engine problem, engine light wasn't on. Out of no where, engine locked up and i had to push it home.

Dont know which category it falls. I bought this car in august 2015. In one week it would not start even. Towed to dealership and they said, the grounding screw was loose. I am so surprised that a car comes out from factory with a loose grounding issue.in the last 2 weeks, the car just stalled at the signal. All lights came up. I had the eco start/stop mode on. This happened 3 times and finally i shut the eco start/stop mode down. It is so dangerous that in heavy traffic, when people are ready to drive on change of signal, the car wont move, people are honking and frustrated and i am too. Looked online and so many people are complaining the same. The whole of dashboard lights up like when a car stalls. This is very dangerous. Anybody waiting behind you can take the pedal from the brake and smash into you. Similarly, for last 2 months, i have noticed that there is a jumping nature when you take leg of the brake at the signal. That scares me as well.from the feel of it, i feel this is primarily a software issue where the computer thinks it is in some mode when it is not or something and shuts everything down as a precautionary measure or something

Bought used mercedes c300 2015 4matic on feb'2019, odometer reading was 44k miles with clean carfax report. After driving just about 7k mikes more, at 53k mikes car shows engine warning. This is unfortunate from mercedez that with this much of nirmal use, car is having engine issues.

There is a major issue with the 2015 m274 mercedes engine regarding the wrist pins. Mercedes has issued numerous internal service bulletins about the issue. The engines were manufactured with wrist pins with too much tolerance that slap against the piston when operating that could lead to premature engine failures. There are hundreds of complaints on online forums of premature engine failures (pre 100k miles). I contacted mercedes and they refuse to do anything to fix this problem the repair is well over $8,000 and the average person just can not afford it. You diagnose the problem based on chatter during deceleration. Please make mercedes make this right and fix the affected cars the right way. I was in middle line on i-5 sb san diego doing 40-60mph when my car suddenly started to shudder, shake and smoke came from the exhaust. The car lost power and the check-engine light came on right away. I was told that cylinder 3 lost pressure, that the engine wall was damaged and that possibly the piston and wrist pin are cracked. My car has only 66k miles and the mercedes benz dealership is telling me that i need a new engine that will cost $19,000.after doing some research i have found out that i wasn't the only one with this issue. I was driving at approx. 20-25 mph during day light and all of a sudden there was light blinked on my dashboard for applying the brakes because of another vehicle ahead of me.i applied the brakes as well as brake assist plus system got activated as well. But still my vehicle end up hitting the vehicle ahead of me. The brake assist plus system which is claimed by mercedez to take brake automatically to bring the system to halt in case of emergency did not work and it end up hitting another vehicle in front of my vehicle

On february 9th, during my morning commute on the interstate the car lost power to the drivetrain. Message that displays was "collision assist plus inoperative"along with cruise control inoperative. With an amber esp light illuminated, there was no engine light on. When this message appeared the car would no longer accelerate (limp mode). In avoidance to being in a rear end collision i quickly pulled over, turned off the car and turned back on. Inoperative message, limp mode and esp lightwas cleared. I called dealer to notify. My thought was the battery is a dud (was replaced the day prior), the car needs a software reboot due to the new battery or car was not connected to the "memory saver" correctly. Or the sensors were dirty. So i did the easiest. I washed the car. This problem continued to happen 5-6 times more over the next few days stalling on the freeway at 65-75 mph. Extremely dangerous & life threatening. No engine problems apparent. Seems to be radar or software. This is extremely dangerous while on the highway, i found many other with this same issue on nhtsa. I attached a picture of car showing message with no power. My seatbelt was off as i was on side of road trying to get to gas station. This issue is cleared by turning car on / off. Then it happens again hours or a day later, loss of power at highway speeds. Coast over.

Check engine light keeps coming on/ fowl order coming from ac unit/ loud gas smell when start ignition in themorning

I took my car in for service b and was told the low pressure fuel lines were leaking. It is a fire hazard, so it cannot be ignored.the car is 5 years old and has been meticulously maintained. It cost me $750 to repair, and my vehicle was out of manufacturer's warranty.

There is a fuel hose (parts number: 274 070 3500) connect to the high pressure pump in front engine area. The fuel hose was fastened by a clamp (not sure the parts number) . Because of the design flaw, this clamp will loose since it's a snap joint assemblies not tighten by screws. Under this situation, the fuel hose will loose and affected by thermal expansion, this problem will cause fuel leak/seeping. We can smell fuel near the pump before we start car in cold in the morning and this smell can be smelled until the engine working into the normal operating temperature. Fuel is a very critical safety problem and usually we cannot take notice of this potential problem.

Crankcase breather hose is leaking fuel.fuel line is leaking fuel.this creates gas smell in the car. This is also unsafe due to the fuel leakage. Looks like this is a very common problem on these cars. It should be a recall.

Intermittent fuel leak. Real bad gas smell in cabin coming through the vents. Driver side, in back, down between the engine and body.the fuel lines are pressurized, so it might only leak when the pressure builds up. I kept getting a strong gas smell the garage after parking for long periods.

This car left me stranded on the side of the road. The car was on working fine driving along then all of a sudden pushing the gas pedal did nothing and the car would not move. The engine shut off completely. The engine was not getting gas. The electrical and everything else was on in the car except the engine.the system in this car has a double fuel tank that only works on one side. The entire fuel system is faulty. The manager at mercedes told me himself that this is a design flaw in this car. There is no reason why a car with 24,000 miles should have broken down on the side of the road because the entire fuel system does not work. Faulty and horrible workmanship on a supposed luxury vehicle.

When vehicle is cold the whole cabin smells likegas or when put heat on. The smell is very heavy when vehicle is stationary when drive it calls down, but at a light it comes back. Mercedes has many complaints about this problem

Fuel system, gasoline. There is a fuel smell coming inside of the car through the front filters. We have changed fuel injector ring however the smell is still there. Mercedes dealer is not willing to do anything about this. I see there are recalls on the same models produced a year prior. Believe this might be the same issue that was not resolved . Heavy fuel/gasoline smell around engine bay began approximately 2 years ago while the car was still under original 5 year warranty. Fuel smell would persist outside of the vehicle despite the vehicle not being driven for multiple days. When driven, fuel smell would permeate into the cabin of the vehicle and cause mild headaches to the occupants. Taken to dealer to find cause of smell and was advised that there was nothing wrong with the vehicle. Fuel smell continues to persist since it was originally noticed without change and vehicle is no longer within warranty period. Recently, this vehicle was taken back to the same dealer for servicing for an unrelated issue. Told the service representative that there was a fuel smell that continues to linger around the vehicle when parked and inside the cabin. This inspection revealed leaks from two fuel lines and technician recommended replacement. Warning lamps, messages, or other indicators from the car never appeared.

2015 mercedes benz c300 with 65 k miles. The secondary high pressure fuel pump (274070050180) leaked gas seriously. It was the unit itself not the connections or lines to it.

I took my car in for a multi point inspection at the end of november 2019 to mercedes of bellevue. I begun smelling gasoline from the inside cabin of my cara few days after the service and had to take the car back to the dealership. They found that fuel hoses going to the high pressure fuel pump to be leaking fuel. With this being a potential fire hazard and a safety issue, i argued with the dealer that it should be covered under warranty, which i still had a cpo warranty from purchasing the vehicle from this specific dealership. I did some research online and found that, this is a very common issue with my vehicle model, 2015 mercedes benz c300. I am unsure why this issue is not yet recalled by the manufacturer or why the dealership did not honor this issue tto be covered under warranty.. As a concerned customer of the hazardous possibilities a fuel leak could cause, i still moved forward with paying for the repair out of pocket versus continuing to debate with the finance and service personnel that it should be covered under warranty that i still had at the time.

I smelled fuel in my garage occasionally for the past 4 months.i assumed in was the gas heater but when i park my car in others garage i smelled fuel.a friend suggested it might be my car.i took my car into service for my 50k service and asked if they could look into.mercedes benz informed me it is wet around the fuel hose connector.before i only smelled it twice a month in the garage.after one i got it back from service, i smelled fuel inside the car while i'm driving.

Given the low mileage of 23,115 miles on my car, a fuel line leak would not normally be expected to occur.considering that fact along with the reported commonality of this issue, i am concerned that, for other drivers with this potential problem, the symptoms may involve more than just the scent of gasoline and result in car fires or accidents.neither the dealership nor corporate mercedes have been responsive to my concerns.

At cold start, especially when the heater is on, the cabin smells of raw gasoline. The issue is quite annoying and extremely dangerous. After performing a google search about the problem, i've noticed that others who own w205 have experienced this problem. This is just one example others' complaints: http://m.carcomplaints.com/mercedes-benz/metris/2016/fuel_system/fuel_propulsion_system.shtml

Low pressure fuel line leakcould cause fire, fuel smells very strong in the cabin i have 2 2015sboth have had this issue one is from california so it not a salt issue. Happens on cold start

The vehicle has 67kmiles. I noticed a gasoline odor coming from the ac a month ago since then, the odor intensity has drastically increased. The odor usually goes away after a few miles, however, today the odor did not go away and i noticed an onset of a headache since commencing the drive, i then became very drowsy and was very close to rear-ending the vehicle in front of me on the way home, but thankfully the collision warning system emitted a loud sound and i was able to react in time to press the brakes and avoid the collision. There was a recall on 3/10/2015 for vehicles manufactured between april 7, 2014, and july 25, 2014, for an issue with the fuel delivery module and the tank, my vehicle was manufactured january 2015, however, i believe the same issue is causing the gasoline fumes i have been experiencing in my vehicle ac system.

Strong fuel smell in the garage and inside the vehicle during cold start after the vehicle is parked for 8-12 hours.the issue is even more noticeable during colder weather (below 40).the dealer acknowledged this is a common issue for c300 and is due to a defective clamp on a fuel line.the vehicle is at 44,000 miles and 6 mounts out of warranty.the fuel leak is a safety issue and should be repaired by the manufacturer especially if is a well known defect.

The c300 4matic specifically should be recalled because something near the front end squeaks and makes all types of noises

Coast over.

The contact owns a 2015 mercedes-benz c300. While driving at various speeds, the vehicle would independently decelerate with the rpm gauge reading between 4,000-5,000. The failure occurred intermittently. When the vehicle was shut off and restarted, the vehicle returned to normal. The vehicle was taken to the dealer for diagnostic testing; however, the failure could not be duplicated. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was 1,000.

The 7 speed transmission shifts very hard from 1 gear to 2 gear to 3 gear. From 3 gear all the way to 7 gear is very smooth. Also the same way around when you downshift from 3 gear to 2 gear to 1 gear. The slowing down is very harsh and it looks like the transmission doesn't understand that the car is going to a full stop. All the power and speed cut down a few seconds before full stop.i have personally tried to do the reset with key and pedal trick but it only works for a day or two and goes right back to the rough shifting.

I was driving on a rural back road at 30 miles, the power steering stopped working.a warning appeared saying "malfunction of power steering".i was able to drive home, about one mile, but with great difficulty.i called mercedes benz.they sent a tow truck and towed auto to westwood mercedes in westwood, ma.i was informed it was a software problem and it had been reprogrammed.

I would like to bring to your attention a potentially dangerous design flaw in my 2015 mercedes c300. That design flaw resulted in me having to cut the seat belt off a passenger, my wife,in order to free her from the car. I will also explain in detail the admittedly rare circumstances that led to this potentially dangerous incident. In may 2021, my wife underwent outpatient surgery of her left shoulder. After the surgery a nurse brought my wife to the curb in front of the hospital, where i had pulled up my car. The nurse and i assisted my wife with her transfer from the wheel chair into the passenger seat. My wife was wearing a sling supported by a spacing pillow on her left arm. The nurse then proceeded to fasten the seat belt around my wife. Since the nurseā€™s procedure is of importance to this incident, i will explain it in detail. After my wife was seated, the nurse unwound the passenger seat belt entirely and inserted the belt tongue into the buckle so that the lap part of the seat belt went properly around my wifeā€™s lap. To protect the fresh surgical site from external forces, the nurse then placed the part of the seat belt that is normally worn across the chest behind my wifeā€™s back. Had the seat belt been placed properly across my wifeā€™s chest, it would have been forced to pass over her left arm, which was tied to her body by the sling and bandages. It was thus not possible to wear the chest part of the seat belt properly over the chest but under the left arm. Lastly, the nurse allowed the fully extended seat belt to wind up onto the pretensioner. Upon arrival at home i wanted to take the seat belt off my wife. To this end i opened the passenger door, and gently pulled on the seat belt in order to slacken it enough to get the seat belt off her. However, i could not get any slack. Per instructions in the user manual, i opened the belt buckle but the belt was tightly wound around my wife's body. Ultimately, i had to cut the belt with scissors.

Back driver side seat belt hard to engage and will come unengaged without prompting.brake pads wear out every 30,000 miles back passenger side tire and valve has been replaced 4 times in less than 70,000 miles and still looses air intermittently. Car can be parked or moving. No consistency in when or amount air pressure is lost.

Unable to move driver's power seat forward into safe operating position. Had to drive car by sitting on front edge of the seat. Brought to dealer for service and seat operation was restored to normal after a software restore/reset. Service consultant could provide no definite information as to what is the cause of the problem. The next day in the morning, the problem reoccured. I am concerned that this is a chronic problem that cannot be repaired. It is a brand new vehicle and i don't know if this is something that affects other vehicles.

Excessive brake dust when driven even a few miles.feel insecure driving in traffic.

I had two issues within 2 months of buying the car earlier in this. I purchased the car in early feb 2015.i heard a loud sound in the heating unit, then a small clicking sound ensuedfor over a week. Brought it in, the motor had blown, so they replaced it without a dime out of my pocket.then in march, i was driving about 35 miles per hour when a very loud noise like bad breaks started and wouldn't stop no matter what i did.we towed it using mercedes, but had to pay for an uber to the dealership.it was again another malfunction with the new model, and they fixed the breaks and rotors that same day without a dime out of my pocket.i now have 6500 miles on it since i got it in feb this year, and the check engine light came on.i tried to replace the fuel cap but that didn't make it go away and the car is driving fine. Im bringing it in later this week. I saw reports that there are some cars with this fuel issue thats causing this indicator.overall this one particular car i leased is a total dud, but i hope these reports help others with similar issues.

The contact owns a 2015 mercedes-benz c300. While driving at an unknown speed, the vehicle stalled. While applying the brake pedal, the vehicle made an abnormal noise and jerked. The vehicle was taken to the dealer on three occasions where it was diagnosed that the fuel injectors needed to be repaired. The vehicle was repaired. The failure mileage was 9,800.

Takara recall

I have the same problem about steering harder when on lower speed, every oil level looks to be perfect.

Gas smell coming from cabin every time i put heat on ,come to find out dealership informed me there was a leak on gas hose and not covered by the warranty i have, only had the car for a year didn't drive my car in fear will explode plus im a smoker so i could of have blown up, plus battery they said was weak needs to b replace ,again i barely drive and only had my car for a year cpo everything should of been new and running perfect

The contact owns a 2015 mercedes benz c300w. The contact stated that the vehicle was taken to isla verde dealer (llc, ave. Baldorioty de castro km 10.3, carolina, pr 00979, puerto rico) for a recall for the rack and pinion. The contact stated that a week later while driving between 40-50 mph, the vehicle spun around three times, and on the third spin the vehicle crashed into a guardrail with the vehicle facing oncoming traffic. The traction control and driving assistance plus warning lights illuminated. The contact did not sustained injuries. The vehicle was towed to the same dealer where it was diagnosed and was informed the vehicle was aligned. The contact mentioned the steering wheel was abnormally to the right. The vehicle was then towed to his residence. The contact stated that the vehicle was later towed to an independent mechanic and was diagnosed that the vehicle was out of the parameter of the alignment. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure but did not assist. The failure mileage was approximately 55,000.

I started the engine and the power steering failure warning came on. True enough, it was a struggle to steer my car back home - i was just 3 minutes away from home. The car was towed the next morning to autohaus on edens in northbrook, il.i did a google search and found out that there has been a recall for this exact problem in europe since dec 2014. I was shocked that owners in the us were not warned of this potential problem and there has been no recall issued. If this had happened on the freeway, it likely would have resulted in a very serious accident and my safety could have been jeopardized. I would like other owners of the 2015 mercedes benz c class to be alerted to this potentially serious mechanical problem and the nhsta to investigate why there has been no recall issued in the us......updated 12/17/15 both axles front axles had to replaced.

The steering malfunction light came on and the steering wheel lost power. The steering wheel locked up where it become extremely difficult for me to maneuver the car. I put on my emergency indicator and got the car into a parking lot as safety as i could. Had this occurred while i was going on a road with curves or at high speed, i believe i could have suffered severe bodily injury. I called mbrace to get my car towed. When i turned my car back on after approximately 5 mins, the error was gone and it was close to 7pm and the service center for the dealership where i purchased this car from was closed. I dropped off the car at the dealership the next morning. Today is the second day and my dealership tells me that they opened a case with mercedes as their was a faulty code in the steering electrical box and they were advised by mercedes to simply reset the box and drive the car for some time. However they could not tell me why it happened and whether the reset will prevent the occurrence of the steering wheel malfunction again. I refused to take a car back until its safety is proven. The dealership is keeping the car until they hear from mercedes which according to them could take a few days to a week+. I purchased this car approximately 3 weeks ago and to have a major issue with my car with and the dealership and mercedes to provide no confidence in the safety of this vehicle is extremely appalling. ......updated 12/17/15updated 10/11/2017

I sat in the car, had not started it yet, and a "power steering malfunction, see operators manual" warning in red was on dashboard screen, and another smaller red indicator light of a steering wheel was on in the speedometer area.started the car and the warnings remained.shut it off and immediately restarted and the warnings remained.starting driving the car and the power steering was indeed out.i had great difficulty trying to steer, especially under 5mph.drove about a mile and then parked and shut the car off.came back about 10 minutes later, restarted the car and the warnings were gone and steering was back to normal.

I was driving 580-e and merging onto i-5 s when i hit a humongous pot hole with my left font tire causing it to immediately blow out.that in-turn caused my stability tracking to engage, which caused me to slow down drastically.that caused another vehicle to near miss ramming me in the back and me side swiping another vehicle.i was driving approximately 70 mph and almost lost control of the vehicle and had to immediately pull over to a very narrow shoulder of the road with my emergency flashers blinking.to ensure the safety of the vehicle, my self and other passengers in the car, i had to drive approximately 0.5 miles to the next exit (67) to safely get my vehicle off the road to a safe location.i then called a tow truck to tow my vehicle back to santa rosa where i live to get the tire replaced and front bump repaired.i am unsure of the cause of the unsafe condition of the highway or what caused the pot hole.there were several cars stranded with damages to their vehicles as well.one person came to the same exit (food mart on patterson road) with a blown out tire as well.i have her contact information if you need to contact her.

On july 19, 2020, i was driving my mb c300, on highway 301 in bradenton florida.suddenly, i heard what sounded like a gunshot.i was terrified.once, i calmed down and wasable to get to a safe location, upon examination, i discovered that my sunroof had spontaneously shattered. There was absolutely no evidence of any type of foreign object causing the sunroom to shatter.fortunately, when the loud bang occurred, i had the presence of mind to not lose control of my car in what could have caused an accident.also, if the sunroof had been partially opened the glass chards could have caused significant injury.this is completely and utterly unacceptable.mercedes benz is a luxury car manufacturer, known for superior engineering.this should not have happened, under any circumstances.

At highway driving speeds in excess of 50 mph, the glass trim panel of the panoramic sunroof vibrates and flaps wildly. It is not securely attached to the roof of the car. I took it to the dealer to have it replaced. It will fly off and hit the vehicle behind me. If the vehicle behind me were a motorcycle, the results would be disastrous.

On request. Thankyou...

Front of glass sunroof flew off while driving on freeway - recall exists for older versions of my car. Mine is a 2015

I started experiencing loud wind noise coming from the top of my car near my windshield when driving over 40mph. I pulled over and examined the area and found that the top left glass panel in front of the sunroof on my 2015 mercedes benz c300 was slightly propped up. It seemed to be a possible seal or glue issue causing the glass panel to be slightly loose and allowing air in. I called mercedes and made the next available appointment for service a few days out. While driving on the freeway, i begun to hear the wind noise again but followed by a loud rip from the roof of my car this time but did not see anything in sight. When i pulled over, the glass panel was completely missing and went flying somewhere on the highway, causing a road hazard. It was torn off the car and the roof of the car is now exposed.

Panoramic sunroof has had several problems previously.while driving 65 mph the plastic roof piece between the windshield and sunroof suddenly and unexpectedly dislodged and flew off the car.

Panoramic sunroof spontaneously exploded while the car was sitting. Mercedes claiming something fell into it, but there was nothing above it or in the car while it was sitting in the garage. After reading online, this is happening to a lot of other consumers, including one who has started a class action lawsuit in california

I was driving on 02/13/2020, about to cross the arkansas/tennessee bridge when my sunroof exploded without an explanation. The entire panoramic sunroof shattered. It was the most frightening thing i have ever experience. If my sunroof screen had been open, all of the glass would have fallen on my head and in my eyes.called the mb dealer for help, they weren't willing to help and suggested that i file it with my own insurance company. This is a defect of mb!!

My sunroof exploded/shattered while i was driving today, traveling at a speed of 45mph on city road after turning a corner. Outside temp was around 85 and inside car was 75. Car has around 6800 miles, and there was nothing that hit the sunroof. Scary situation for the driver! car is currently under warranty and at the dealer for repair, but they want my insurance to pay. I insist this be investigated because i believe it to be amanufacture defect

Exploding panoramic roof.on january 18, 2019, two hours into driving from new york to canada for a family vacation, without any warning and for no apparent reason the panoramic roof to our 2015 mercedes benz c300 4matic suddenly and violently exploded. At the time of the occurrence the highway road (i84e)was straight, smooth and we were at cruising speed (60mph), no cars anywhere near us in front or from the rear. The explosion sounded as if a bomb had gone off or if we had been shot. Tiny glass particles sprayed my entire family including my wife, 2 daughter (12,15) and our puppy. Luckily the sunshade covering underneath the glass roof caught the larger pieces of broken glass. After making sure the family was not injured i managed to find a large piece of cardboard that i duct tape to the roof and slowly made our way back home, ending our trip. Upon arriving home i did lots of research and to my surprise found that exploding panoramic roofs was more common than i had ever thought with many owners gone through the exact situation as i. Yet, mercedes refuses to acknowledge this issue and presently does not have a recall on their problem. To add insult to injury when i brought the vehicle to the dealership for a repair, the service advisor acted as if this was no big deal and also that he has never seen this issue in his 34 years of being there. I can only assume that this is a false statement since the vallet person who took my car said he has seen it on quite a few occasion. Mercedes benz of north america needs to address this situation before it becomes a fatal mishap. The sound and glass debris could have easily distracted me enough for me to lose control of the vehicle and cause an accident. Luckily no one was near our car.

My vehicle, a 2015 mercedes-benz c300 purchased on 6/6/15 with approximately 1200 miles on the odometer. On monday morning 7/20/15, at approximately 5:30 am pdt, i was driving on the freeway when the interior lights came on and the drivers door popped open. There was no warning chime or indicator light prior to this happening. It was very frightening, and caught me by surprise. Luckily at the time there were no other cars near me. I was able to slow down and shut the door. I called the dealer and they were concerned and had me drop it off that afternoon.picked up on tuesday afternoon 7/21/15 approximately 5:30 pm pdt. I was told they couldn't duplicate the door opening.however, looking at forums on the internet, this exact issue has been reported by others in the us and australia at least. Some were the drivers door others were the passengers door.one reported it happening a second time after the dealer inspected. I am very concerned about this happening again, and possibly triggering an air bag or auto-park. I do not feel safe in this car. I have contacted mercedes-benz usa via chat this morning 7/22/15 and they will have a case manager contact me.

Sunroof clips are snapping on many w205 2015 mercedes c300 models causing the panoramic roof to come loose potentially flying off the car while driving this has the potential to hurt many people. Mercedes claims there is only a recall for models up to 2011 however hundreds of thousands of later model vehicles have the same issue. I read an article saying they recently opened a recall for the later models but my vin isnā€™t covered. If the 100 pound panoramic roof flies off while driving on the highway at 70 mph it can definitely kill someone. Please address my concern i cannot afford to come out of pocket for mercedes defect and lack of help.

Upon submitting a claim for my "inoperative" sensor issue and the car losing all power at highway speeds. I discovered your claim about panoramic sunroof detachments. Well you are in luck as i have a lovely mercedes with a roof panel that i had to glue to the track as it came apart. The hinge on right side is loose. I can no longer open the sunroof or it will catch wind as if it's about to dethatch. Driving the sunroof is so loose that it will not close without the help of holding it down so it locks into place.brought it into the dealer last summer and they brushed it off and tried to charge me over $2,000 to get it fixed. They said "common issue"i would produce pictures, however my car is currently sitting at a mercedes factory shop getting its other safety issues taken care of.

The c300 4matic specifically should be recalled because something near the front end squeaks and makes all types of noises

Vibration at high speed around 70 m/h. Vibration during warm up after a cold start. Noise coming out from unknown parts possibly suspension when running over bumps at low speed around 7 m/h.

The front drivers side suspension squeaks when wheel is turned or going over bumps.this car is less than 5 years old and around 50k miles.i am hopeful this is not a dangerous flaw in the suspension system.

Suspension parts are rusting out fast i don't live in a salted road for black ice type of environment car only has 66k miles and ac pours fuel odors in the cabin interior materials are bubbling up fast even after uv treatments.

While driving my 2015 mercedes benz c300 4matic with panoramic roof one day on rte 9 in hyde park ny, a 2 lane state road i was traveling at 40 mph, i suddenly heard more air than usual and then seconds later a loud flapping noise on roof. I pulled over immediately only to find the stationary roof panel all the way forward on the roof, (directly in front of glass portion of the pano roof) became loose on one side and flapped open with wind when in motion. I used 3 quarters between windshield and said panel to hold it from popping up while driving and drove immediately to a body shop. Tbey inspected it and determined it was held down with black epoxy similar to what is used to install glass such as windshields. They added some epoxy and taped down the piece for me. Approximately one week later i was traveling on the same road at about 30mph and suddenly all within like 2 seconds heard loud wind, then flapping, then saw the roof piece fly off swing in front off windshield it was still attached to a rubber gasket, then up in the air and back down and smacked the side of drivers door before breaking free and flying down the road behind me. Luckily it did not strike any cars or people as it briefly held on to the gasket attached. I immediately stopped and was able to retrieve it, broken into 2 pieces. Some online research found this has been a very common problem with many, many people who posted all ovwr the internet on facebook and several other sites. I then found the exact same problem, and part was recalled by mercedes for 10s of thousands if cars, but the recall did not include my year (but did include my model for other years). This is very obviously the same exact problem and should be covered for all years by mercedes. I called and after a lengthy phone call with mercedes benz i got nowhere. The agent for mb refused to even admit it was a recall, and was rude.

I heard a very big devastating noise while driving my 2015 mercedes benz-c300 on a local road in raleigh, nc at about 40 mph. Since i did not see any tpms (tire pressure monitoring system) or any other kind of alert on the screen, i continued to drive. After driving about 2 more miles, i heard another big pop and the car became non-drivable by then. I did not feel hitting any object or going thru a pot hole. That's when i got down the car and noticed the right front tire outer wall got separated from the tire and thethe tire was just flat to the ground. I could not, of course, drive further. This happened on saturday (10/1/16) evening and it is a run-flat tire, but could not drive further and there was no spare in the car. So, i had to wait until today (10/3/16) to get it towed to the nearest benz dealer in raleigh to get the tire replaced. It was a very frustrating half a day attending to this repair. There are a couple of issues here.(a) quality issue: why the continental tire tire gave away so quickly with only about 23.5k miles on the odometer, without hitting any object? (b) safety issue: this would have been a disaster if i were on a road trip with family on a national highway, especially, on a saturday evening without a spare tire.(c). System response issue: why mb system did not give any kind of alert in spite this major blow-out? i would hesitate to buy another car without a spare tire. I hope the nhtsa will consider seriously discouraging run-flat tires in the cars unless a spare tire is provided, until such time the run-flats are extremely safe and sturdy. Thanks.

Car looses speed while driving in the street or a highway. No code have been detected in the computer. I have been taking the car to the dealership but they haven't found what's the problem.

Collision assist inoperative dash light came on while highway driving followed by a loss of power and acceleration.vehicle needed to be turned off and restarted to be drivable.

My daughter was driving at freeway speeds, when she heard, what we now know, is a portion of the sunroof panel flapping and break off.there was no warning, no instrument indication, and assume the broken part was a safety hazard to vehicles following.we took her vehicle to fletcher jones mercedes in newport beach, but they're hesitating about repairing or reimbursing costs, due to the pending nature of the nhtsa recall #21v197.

Windows rattling , they said this problem is known , i took my car 4 times to get it fix but no lick. This is very bad when you are driving.

The vehicle was thankfully noy in mption when my panarama sunroof and the shades failed. The shades i understand its not a safety problem, but the sunroof not being able to hold in place as it opens is different. When the sunroof opened, the rear of the roof was not in place and shaky. When i tried to close, it had not locked itself right back in place, where i had to take it to a mechanic just to have it shut to avoid the rainstorm yesterday. I recently did some research and read through some articles, had a friend of mine take a look at it and it seems to be very similar, almost the same as the recall they have done on other year make for the panarama roof.

Nhtsa recall #17v114starting current limiterour mbenz c300-2015 model has been recalled and needs to be repaired. Its more than 60 days since the issue is known but the repairs are still not available.this thing can be dangerous to our life and needs to be fixed asap

Multiple incidents of 'collision prevention assist plus inoperative'. Car loses all power until restarted. This happened several times, once on an interstate at 65 mph creating a dangerous situation. I had to pull over several lanes on the interstate with no power while other cars had to avoid me. I brought the car into the dealer and after a week of repairs, the same fault has occurred twice in the first 24 hours after return of vehicle. Fault occurred at 60 mph during a passing maneuver on a 2 lane road. Again, we were put in a very dangerous situation. This is an unsafe vehicle. Attached is a picture of the dashboard fault that i photographed after the car coasted to the side of the road. The car would not move until i turned it off and restarted.

My panarama sunroof just fail and almost collapse on me. My car is 5 years old. I was driving and it appear the glasswas coming out. The vehicle was stationary. I'm afraid that the glass will pop out and fall on me. This is serious. It could harm me if it falls on me.

The panoramic sunroof of the c300 is held in plastic hooks that break, even with normal use. So, that leaves the panoramic roof to fly off the vehicle on the highway. I have not opened my roof in three years because i am afraid it might not hold up. Looking at the mb owners' forum, it seems to be a pretty common issue that these plastic hooks break, and then the panoramic roof either doesn't close all the way, stay up to let the air come underneath it to introduce the risk of it flying away,or become really flappy when driving with open roof.

Driving down the interstate and half of the stationary roof panel dislodged. Luckily no accidents occurred due to the malfunction. The other half is still loosely attached and i am worried it could cause an accident if it detaches . I have emailed and called headquarters as well as my local dealership and no one has the ability to fix the problem and cannot confirm if i choose to pay out of pocket, that i will be reimbursed. There is a recall and itā€™s #21v197. At this point i want some sort of solution so i can ensure the safety of myself and those driving around me.

Sunroof no longer closed shakes and rattles, seems like a safety issue during a possible rollover

Check engine light keeps coming on/ fowl order coming from ac unit/ loud gas smell when start ignition in themorning

Collision prevention assistance feature went on automatically ( as well as check-engine light) while driving at highway speed in normal weather. I was not in an accident, near another vehicle and completely aware and driving normally prior to this occurring. I had to struggle with car to pull over to shoulder, loss power from gas pedal, car hard to control. I had to turn off the car, deactivate the function to drive. It happened again when i drove the car later that day after the car had been parked for a while.took it into service. They were able to find the error code.they found that mercedes sent out a memo in sept. 2015 stating they are aware of the problem but service is not to do anything to "fix" it!i have only owned this car for 6 weeks ,bought it new and have less than 6,000 miles on it. Mercedes is not offering a solution but more of a wait and see attitude.

My navigation and central control panel not functioning and freezing with message "please wait". Caused so many safety problems, including backup camera not working, temperature control and airflow screen not showing up, bluetooth phone system not working to take hand-free calls, and no radio station is working and/or only one unknown radio station tuneup but can't switch to another station at all to listen highway traffic information. It's been already 3 weeks and i visited dealership and called mercedes benz customer services but no help/solution available so far. Asked me to just wait few more days.

When driving on the bridge the piece of my sunroof flew off i pulled over it was raining and the inside of my car got wet the motor on my sunroof no longer works as the water leaked through. I picked up as much of the pieces as i could but the part was run over.

On july the 8th i was driver on interstate highway 65south in birmingham alabama in my 2015 mercedes c 300 when there was a loud thump which startled me and almost caused an accident what happened is the roof panel between the windshield and sunroof flew off it caused damage to my vehicle and almost an accident now when i contacted mercedes they say that it is a recall out for this problem but they do not have a time as to when this can be fixed this will be a problem because now i am not able to drive my vehicle because there is a gape between the windshield and the roof where water and anything else will get into the vehicle this is terrible now i am without a car for who knows how long.

The contact owns a 2015 mercedes benz c300. While driving at 55 mph, when the accelerator pedal was depressed but the vehicle did not accelerate. The contact coasted over to an emergency lane. The vehicle was taken to the dealer but the failure was unable to be determined. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was 1,200.

Car looses speed while driving in the street or a highway. No code have been detected in the computer. I have been taking the car to the dealership but they haven't found what's the problem.

Coast over.

Sun roof fix glass flew off of vehicles in traffic while i was driving on a busy highway. Adhesive glue failed to keep the part attached.

The contact owns a 2015 mercedes-benz c300. The contact stated that while driving at an unknown speed, the glass panel detached from the vehicle. The contact veered to the shoulder of the roadway and inspected the vehicle and confirmed that the glass panel had detached from the vehicle. The glass panel was not retrieved. Additionally, the contact stated that when it rained, water would enter the cabin of the vehicle. Mercedes-benz of cutler bay (10701 sw 211 st, cutler bay, fl 33189, (305) 251-0345) was contacted and informed of the failures. The contact was informed that the vehicle was not subjected to a recall. The vehicle was repaired. The contact referenced nhtsa campaign number: 19v918000 (visibility) as a possible solution for the failure however, the vin was not included. The failure mileage was approximately 59,900.*dt

The contact owns a 2015 mercedes benz c300. The contact stated that while driving at 55 mph, the glass in the sunroof collapsed without impact. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where the sunroof was repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 21,000.

The mandatory required tire pressure motoring system (because it has run flat tires) on one of the wheels failed and they claimed this is not covered by either the manufacturer's warranty or the tire protection warrantee.i was told this on 6/15 2015 but the original complaint i made about air pressure int he left rear tire was well within the warrantee period.
