I received a safety recall notice from mercedes-benz in february 2019 for the passenger-side airbag (see attached copy). It states that "a passenger-side inflator explosion during deployment could result in sharp metal fragments striking the front passenger or other occupants, possibly causing serious injury or death."over the last 20 months, i have tried at least six times to have this issue fixed by my dealer mercedes-benz of greenwich,261 west putnam ave, greenwich, ct 06830.each time the dealer said that they don't have this part.
