Right passenger air bag warning malfunction light came on 2x within a 3 week period. Second time occurred after i took the car in to fix the issue and dealer claimed issue was fixed. The issue occurred after i started the car and pulled away from a stationary position.

The contact called mercedes-benz roadside assistance and a technician came out and attempted to start the vehicle, but was unsuccessful. The technician removed the battery cable from the terminal, waited a few seconds, reconnected the cable, and was able to start the vehicle. The vehicle was later taken to mercedes-benz of annapolis (1920 forest dr, annapolis, md 21401, (866) 290-0799) where the failure was reported. The vehicle was repaired. Accident on 10/15/2020, unoccupied vehicle rolled from a parked position down a hill and struck a house.the vehicle is designed to have the transmission automatically shift to park when the driver's door is open, and this system was functional at the time of the incident.disengagement of the parking pawl was the cause of the event.
