I have had 3 mercedes in the last year. I had 2 clk430's which also had the same problem. These 2 cars were purchased thru smythe european. The problem is that the transmission will go into neutral sometimes. This is a very intermittent problem but has occurred 6 times in these 3 cars. It seems to me that this is a problem will all mercedes with this transmission. I feel that in this year they have yet to discover what is the cause. Please contact me if you have any questions.
Front driveshaft coupler broke while driving.this caused all (4) tires to be worn to steel belt.please describe details.
