Mazda mx6 brakes engaged while on a bridge causing the car to skid into the center median wall.upon the impact my mouth hit the steering wheel and busted my lips open, the airbag then deployed causing my head to be slammed against the headrest while a burst of hoard gagging smoke/dust, particles, were emitted.in a gasp of terror and fear that i may die from suffocation from the car filled smoke/dust from the airbag i kicked the driver door opened and rolled out onto the ground gasping for air and laid there until an ambulance arrived.the vehicle engine etc. Was not on fire or smoking from this wreck. While my facial injuries healed, the damage to my left jaw resulted in a very costly surgery several years later of which did not repair the jaw and now live with daily debilitating facial/cranial pain.there is a specific rancid smell from this airbag that will never leave my mind as well as the texture of the hard canvas like material that ripped the skin off my face.the deployment of this airbag after the initial impact is a vivid image to this day in 2014.this manufacturer should be ashamed to have not corrected this as my wreck was in 1995.

My problem is exactly the same as recall #99v358000 on the 1994 mazda mx6. The headlights go out intermittently because of a loose/broken wire at the headlight switch on the turn signal lever. The sudden unanticipated loss of the headlights poses a severe hazard.

Gas fumes are very strong within the passenger compartment.tt

Engine caught fire due to failed fuel rails and vacuum lines. *dsh

Experienced fire that started from the fuel injection system.

The transmission will reve up/acceleratewhile driving the car. The rpm's will increase and decrease and it seems the engine is kicking into neutral. It does this at any speed at any time. I have taken the car to themazda dealer twice and they have no idea what is going on. If it is not doing the reveing up at the time it is on the diagnotic machine, then they say they do not know what is going on and can not fix the problem.

The automatic transaxle went out at 70,000 miles, i was told it was the front forward clutch and the torque converter. After doing extensive research i have discovered that there has been a huge number of mazdas that have failed transmissions at or near 70,000 miles.total cost of a re-build: $1,500.

When ithis will be the third replacement for the transmission.the first time st 46,000 then at 79,023 and now at 126,000 this time it is not covered under warranty.i am the original owner of the vehicle , we first leased the car then when the lease was up i purchsed the vehicle.i don't understand why i have to keep replacng the transmission. I call mazda customer serice and they said there was nothing they could do. Would this fall under the lemon law?i have had a car with over 150,000 miles and never had problems and another where the milage rolled over.what is the deal with this vehicle?i do have the documents where i have had the vehicle repaired. Also i just had engne repair done the cost $1000.00 in july. I am so sorry i ever purchased this car.please help.

When driving home on a night with freezing rain and sleet, i put on the windshield defroster. The temperature gauge was warm at the time that i switched it on. Within seconds the windshield iced up and all the other windows steamed up. I had zero visibility. I pulled the car over and scraped ice off the windshield and wiped the side windows so i could see. I proceeded to dirve and again within seconds it happened again. I could see what looked like smoke or a mist coming from the defrost vents. This continued to happen all the way home with me continually pulling off the road to clear the windows. I have had this car for three years and never had this problem . I also have never driven it during an ice storm. This was a very dangerous and nerve wracking experience and am hoping to find out what the heck caused this. I have a friend who has a 1998 626 and the exact same thing happened to her on the same night.

Snow was coming through the windows, causing the windows to ice up to where the owner had to use scraper on inside of the windows.
