My husband had just left our home and luckily were still in our neighborhood when our mazda cx9 started to stutter and shake and become un-drivable. It rode very rough. It happened with absolutely no warning. We took it to the local repair shop and was told that the check engine error was p0351/po352. They replaced the coil but the problem persisted and we still were unable to drive the car. We then took it to the mazda dealership which then replaced the pcm and another coil. We had to wait several weeks for the pcm due to "limited availability"; which to me, a consumer means one of two things - the pcm should not fail or there is a short supply of pcm because there are many failures.i spoke with mazda and the customer service representative researched the problem and called me back to explain that this current situation "did not meet the federal parameter of the review process and that mazda would not be replacing this part for us and she added "at this time"...seems suspicious to me..."at this time". What does that mean? mazda's warranty is 8 years/96,000 miles...that is unacceptable (our mileage is 116,000).we were lucky we weren't driving on the highway at a high rate of speed or the car would have just stopped running! our car had no previous issues, the check engine light did not come on until this incident on 11/16/2014.

The contact owns a 2007 mazda cx9. While driving approximately 75 mph with the cruise control activated, the vehicle downshifted to neutral on its own. The contact switched to manual transmission, but the vehicle would not accelerate. The contact had to coast to the shoulder. When the vehicle slowed down to approximately 10 mph, it re-engaged in gear. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The vin was unknown. The approximate failure mileage was 127,000.

Mazda recall state of nj.the car was in motion when the tire came loose.my husband hit a small pothole.luckily we were able to get the car on the side of ride.due to the recall we were not able to put the claim through our insurance and mazda is telling me i won't get a refund for the work done because it took so long to be repaired.unfortunately, we do not recall receiving anything about the recall.after reading the recall basically what it said could happen did and the car needed repairs.i attached the invoice and recall from mazda's website.

While driving the vehicle, making a right turn into a park, the drivers side wheel was dislodged from the vehicle. Upon inspection by the repair mechanic, were told that lower ball joint disconnected from the suspension, causing multiple damage to the suspension and drive train on the car. More than $1,775.00 dollars worth. On 7/30/15, we took the car to the tire center for 4 new tires, we were told that the alignment could not be completed because of loose tie rod and lower ball joint on passenger side of the vehicle. This concerns me for the safety of my family. My wife was driving the first time with 3 kids in the car, and needless today is more concerned now, based on today's required repair.

The contact owns a 2007 mazda cx-9. While driving approximately 20 mph, a snap noise was heard from the front driver's side of the vehicle. There was no warning indicator illuminated. The contact managed to drive into a parking lot and the vehicle was towed to the contact's residence. The contact stated that the vehicle was recalled and repaired per nhtsa campaign number: 15v451000 (suspension) approximately two years ago, but the failure recurred. The contact called the same dealer (oak lawn mazda, 708-233-7700, located at 6750 w 95th st, oak lawn, il 60453) and was informed that the warranty expired; therefore, the failure would not be covered by the recall again. The contact called the manufacturer, but no one answered the phone. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was not provided.

There was a recall on control arms i have had the repairs done 3 times i believe these are causing other damages to the car! that cannot stay repairedthe same things continue to break on this over and over!! i want to get rid of this car. I owe way more than it's value. However i can't trade it in because of these recalls and it being unfixable

In 2016 i got a recall #8515g and that was performed by mazda dealer onmarch 16 2016 (see doc attached) after the recall we have starting hearing a horrible noise, and mostly in winter, so i have took again to mazda to inspect twice but they have hear that noise and have found anything. This past weekend they were more deeply on this inspection and what they found is the rf low control armjoint (ball joint) has play rf outer tie rod end has play too (see attached report from mazda) the costs estimates to fix this problem is about $587 plus taxes..what they say about the noise is probably comes from this issues which was supposed fixed by the recall but after 20000 miles this issues is coming again.. What they say this is not normal kind of this repairs could be longer than 10 years with not such a issues..my concerns are the safety on my family, now my wife and my grandkids are driving this car everyday, and i'm putting them on a unsafety situation by this recall....

Turning around and lower ball joint came apart, wheel wedged between fender and suspension letting halfshaft pullout of transaxle and car immovable!

My compliant is with a dealer i contacted to fix a safety recall on my vehicle.the dealer, russle mazda baltimore md, required two separate visits, one for an inspection and if needed another to make the repairs once parts came in.why they couldn't order the parts and do everything at one time, i don't know.two visits is inconvenient and unreasonable. I called another dealer who ordered the parts instantly for them to be replaced during one visit.the recall notice says to notify you if the dealer does not repair the defect within a reasonable time and russle mazda was not reasonable.i did let them know this as well.thanks.alexandra
