The contact owns a 2021 mazda cx-30. The contact stated while driving 3 mph, the vehicle loss motive power. The contact stated that the low voltage 12-v charge warning light was illuminated. The contact stated a bystander assisted to jump start the vehicle. The contact continued driving to her destination. The vehicle was taken to cook chrysler dodge ram (1136 s philadelphia blvd, aberdeen, md 21001, (410) 346-3786) however, the mechanic was unable to duplicate the failure. The vehicle was not yet repaired. The contact stated she had experience the failure on four times and the vehicle was towed to the dealer. The manufacturer was informed of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 50.
Sudden, enexpected emergency braking when there was no vehicle or any other obstruction in front of me.luckily, the distance between me and the car behind me was great enough to prevent me from being rear ended.
After turning left at a signaled intersection onto a highway the automatic braking engaged and the car skidded to a stop in the middle of the lane. Luckily nobody was behind us. There was a car about 4 car lengths ahead that was going the same speed and was not stopped. I pulled over and checked the front sensor and noticed a couple black flies on it and brushed them off.
The brand new vehicle was sold to me on 2/23/21 with an open safety recall. This recall was finally addressed on 5/21/21. At no time did mazda north american operations formally notifying me of the safety record. 1)how could this happen?2)has this shortcoming been remedied?3)will i receive formal notifications of future safety recalls on a timely basis?
