Takata recallinformed by letter on july 2015 that if my airbag deploys in a crash it may kill me or my passenger. It is now 01/17 and still not fixed. Why would you inform the public then take 1.5 years plus to fix problem? i understand how large the recall is but over a year for no repairs or any further communication of any kind. You all should be fired and you are completely worthless. That's like telling someone, if your house catches on fire there is a good chance if your smoke alarm goes off it could kill or injure everyone in your home than saying we will let you know and then walking away. Still waiting!

My mazda b3000 pickup would not stop at a red light causing an accident.when i engaged the brake the front end shook and then there were no brakes.the day of the accident there was a light rain but i had not driven through any puddles, therefore i don't think it was due to "wet" brakes as i have been told.ultimately my brakes did not work, i only have 30k miles on the vehicle, and i will fear driving it once the body has been fixed.i have never had a vehicle that wouldn't stop and i feel there is something mechanically wrong.i had over 2 car lengths and due to the fact this is a fairly new vehicle, there is not reason it should not have stopped prior to impacting another vehicle.

I broadsided a pick up truck that ran a stop sign.enough damage was done that my vehicle had to be towed and likely will be written off by the insurance company as totaled.i was diagnosed with blunt trauma to the chest wall with contusions.my airbag never deployed.

This is the second time i've asked this same question. Ford recalled these vehicles and the mazda "b" series pick-up is made by ford shouldn't mazda check theirs too?2004 ford ranger structure: frame and members:underbody shieldssummary: on certain pickup trucks, the frame may have a center rail section flange that was not formed properly. Consequence: in the event of a side impact crash, the frame rail scould puncture the fuel tank, resulting in a fuel leak. Fuel leakage, in the presence of an ignition source, could result in a fire. Remedy: dealers will inspect the frame to determine whether the frame was incorrectly manufactured. If there is a problem, the vehicle will not be repaired. Ford and the dealer will replace the vehicle. The recall began on july 19, 2004. Owners should contact ford at 1-800-392-3673.notes: ford motor company 04s19 .
