I have records on the repairs that never fixed anything. All problems still exist with washer and wipers coming on at random times.wipers never work on high speed but work fine in low and intermittant speeds. Egr system has failed also and burnt the hoses up. Vehicle has always had engine miss and power loss in the 2200 - 3000rpm area.

Headlights and all outside lights will go out due to defective combination switch which has been replaced twice, but defect keeps reoccurring.
Dt:the consumer owns a 1995 mazda b-2300 pick-up.while filling the gas tankhe noticed gasoline leaking onto the ground underneath the truck.upon inspection of the vehicle it was determined that fuel tank filler pipecracked and was causing the gasoline to leak onto the ground.due to the heat and dryness in this area it would cause the plastic to crack.the service dealer stated this filler pipe needed to be replaced.the manufacturer stated they could not do anything about this problem. Dome light stays on while driving day or night. It is illegal to drive with the light on at night. The door ajar chime sticks and windshield wipers will sometimes come on by themselves while driving. I have read many complaints about this on your website. I had this problem fixed while under warranty and now same problem again. No recall? could be a short in the wiring. Obviously something is sticking.

I note that odi #963255 reports a very similar incident with a 1994 ford ranger, which is the same truck as mazda b2300. Abs: water found in vacuum hose connected to power assist box; water was freezing; moisture found in area of abs; brake pedal would not move, very hard.

The vehicle was taken to a private mechanic who confirmed the steering wheel needed to be replaced. The manufacturer was not contacted regarding the defect. The vehicle was not repaired. Defective alarm system
When i start the truck, or just put the key into the ignition the door chime sometimes goes off as if the door is still open.it usually will continue until something decides to make it turn off.i had to listen to it for about 970 miles while on a trip out az.very annoying.i was told out there that the door sensor had or has a manufactures recall on this part; if so is it possible to get it fixed for free.
The interior part of my tailgate has broken twice during regular use.now the tailgate will not open and as i am disabled it is difficult to put my equipment into the truck bed.

Intermittently while driving along the windshield wipers come on without command. The dealer and manufacturer have been notified about the problem. The problem has not been corrected. Please provide any further information.

When driving windshield wipers come on and sprayed washer solution on windshield. Once during a rain storm the wipers cut off automatically and i lost control of vehicle for split second.
