Just parked vehicle & left. Neighbors knocked on door to inform owner vehicle was onfire. Fire department called & put flames out. Was informed the battery was cause of fire. There was no prior warning. *ml

Fire started under hood.possibly around fuel filter and/or wiring harness area.resulted in severe fire that totaled the vehicle.

When turning the wheel to the right the power window fuse blows ignition switch may be the cause, and 86'and 87' report the same problem.tt

Defective tailpipe caused carbon monoxide to enter vehicle's interior cabin resulting in consumer contracting carbon monoxide poisoning.dealer diagnosed several holes along top of tailpipe between the catalytic converter and the muffler.phtop seam of exhaust pipe had rotten out between catalytic converter and muffler.

Bolts overheat and fall of engine manifold, causing a leak of carbon monoxide in the passenger's compartment.

While driving the front of vehicle caught on fire due to fuel lines. Consumer states that the fire progressed to the rear underside from center third of underside, the passenger was injured when being escorted out of the vehicle.

They would not order the part when they were supposed to and then when they did get the part they would not fix the car. Please describe.tt

Fuel tank split at weld, causing gasoline leak. *sd

Front door locks repaired under recall several years ago -- now drivers' side door lock has failed in exactly the manner described in recall notice -- lowering drivers' window caused door to unlatch and fly open!

Failure on the driver side door, the driver side door will not open from the outside.

Recall related, 88v063000, contacted dealership 2/1/95, went in on 3/1/96 wrong parts went in again never received parts 88vo63000.

The driver's side automatic shoulder belt is inoperative due to the belt not staying in the correct position, . Consumer has contacted the dealer, dealer has replaced parts.

Automatic motorized shoulder restraints fail to complete cycle upon engine start-up choking passenger. Upon opening door at stop, restraints fail to disengage trapping occupant until manually disconnected . Recall at dealer failed to yield vin match. Also told vehicle too old to repair. Problem exists anyway, due to same manufacturer defect as in campaign 88v06300. Can cause injury to ocucpants.

Motorized seat belts retract without warning while car is in motion.
