Bluetooth hands free calling malfuntionin dash hands free bluetooth system not working . Will not receive phone calls. Will erratically produce loud 'hiss' and/or 'static' sounds . Audio system icon on dash indicates that bluetooth is connected and has strong signal connection.have tried to connect with multiple cellular devices with same result. Dealership attempted to service . Stated maserati north america is aware of a widespread issue, and they currently do not have a corrective action to fix.i believe this a major safety concern and it's unsafe to use a wireless phone while driving , in addition to it being illegal in the state of california .the distraction on the intermittent connection and erratic loud noises also can be dangerous.
