All four doors started retaining water and i have to pull the rubber back and let it drain but when there was a hard rain i would get leaks from the moon roof area that leaked on to the console/gearshift area i took it to a shop but they couldn't find any thing wrong then after a hard rain i sucked 12 gallon of water out of the drivers side floorboard it seemed that it was seeping in from under the dash or somewhere under the floorboard because as soon as i vacuumed some more would appear also before i vac i could hear water sloshing and it wasn't in the doors if that wasn't enough my wife was driving and the moon roof opened by it self and would not closeso i took it to a dealer and they charged me 150.00 to close it and told me i needed two motors and a new switch and other parts totaling around 700.00 andbut i felt that all that wasn't needed since i had never open theroof before in 4 years which meant to methe motors should be ok since i had never used it so i declined the two motors and asked them to put everything else in and leave it closed and i would be satisfied so they closed the moon roof but not the sun screen and told me that they could not close the screen because the roof might open back up and they may not be able to get it closedi paid out 400.00 and i'm driving around in a beautiful 2014 mksi bought in 2015 new and only has 58000 miles and in mint condition love my lincolnbut scared when it rain this is a nightmare can you help or tell them how to correct the problem

Tsb:16v621000this happened to my car, i replaced the fuel pump control module, there is a recall but only for the 3.5 liter. I have the 3.7 liter awd. The consumer stated he paid for the vehicle to be repaired as the vin was not included in the recall.

I was going up to new york and car stalled on busy i 95 north highway. I got it towed to mechanic in nj. He told me fuel pump relay module and fuel pump is broken. He fixed it. I called lincoln about recall for fuel pump relay module recall and of course they denied my complaint, they told me that my vin is not in their recall. Actually fuel pump relay module was broken two times in same car costed me over 1000$ to fix plus towing... Unacceptable and dangerous

As i was driving steering stop working it got so hard it steered to the right almost hit a person on the side walk.when it happened i was around the house.luckily made it home safe on a hard steering wheel
Place vehicle in reverse. Steering assist fault warning came on. Couldn't steer vehicle.

The manufacturer stated that the vehicle was not included in nhtsa campaign number: 15v340000 (steering). The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was 50,000.

Major water leak from roof body seam on driver side.
1 the car rocking too hard at slow-speed 2 feels like the half-shaftloosed ' stop and go not smooth.

8/3/2018 @ 31000 miles a/c stopped blowing. Just before this, noticed temp rose from 72* to 85* and hi. Immediately drove to my local ford dealer. Replaced blower($400). 3miles from repair, the beeping of rising temp of system began, not repaired. I called my service rep, told to return. It was friday. @4:20 pm. I chose to return after the following wednesday. I expected to have toleave the car, over the weekend, and needed it on tuesday/wednesday. Made appointment for thursdaty @8am.diagnosed on friday, 8/11/2018 as faulty fcim module, an item on backorder, unavailable, and discontinued!ouch 8 months off of factory warranty and my sweet ride is unrepairable due to a discontinued module.
I was going north on collier avenue in naples, florida stopped at the intersection with davis avenue at 3 pm with my foot on the brake when there was unintended acceleration. I jammed down hard on the brake and shifted into neutral. The motor reved up hard for a short time, the light turned green, the cars ahead pulled forward, i shifted into drive, took my foot off the brake, and the car and acceleratorreturned to normal and i proceeded forward. Everything returned to normal. I am familiar with unintended acceleration because i experienced it previously in my 1995 (not positive of exact year) audi.
The dashboard controls ceased functioning, the heater controls will not work,making the defrost not function. This happens while parked or in motion, no matter the location. It appears that the electrical control module has died in mid-stream while driving.

However, the replacement window was also defective on the passenger side of the windshield. The dealer and the manufacturer declined to replace the windshield a second time. The contact was advised to purchase another vehicle. The failure mileage was 2,900.
