I had my 6th flat tire on the front passenger side of my car in 4 months.the lexus dealership has replaced the tire every time.this is the 6th time that it has happened.same side of the car every time.flats happening a day apart from each other - at different speeds.i was stranded at night in a less than desireable location on the last flat tire i had (4-12-01).i was told by the dealership that it was how i was driving (6 times in 4 months - i find that difficult to believe - same spot on the car)i do not feel safe driving this car.i feel it is a treat to my life. Both right side tires developed 2-3 in. "blisters" in the outside sidewall, apparently after hitting either a curb or pothole.i had the car towed to my nearest lexus dealer (albuquerque), but lexus would not replace the tires even after i informed them of similar problems with audi tires.i eventually replaced the tires myself at a cost of $400. Tire is bubbling at the sidewall, past tire was punctured on sidewall, unable to determine whether tire sidewall is inferior.sidewall seems to be weak.other owners voiced same concerns over tire sidewall.bubbling at the sidewall seems to be common reoccurring problem.please confirm with dealerships whether problem exists with the sidewall.
