To whom it may concern:greetings,this message is being sent on the behalf of cheryl [xxx] & raymond [xxx]2015 lexus gs350[xxx]subject: another electrical issue again:issue: back seat arm rest ignited:rear arm rest ignited and burned through the leather leaving a black burnt mark.we are extremely concerned about this vehicle. This is the second electrical issue that we have experienced and could have caused a fire while we were driving. We have provided a few pictures below for your review. We look forward to hearing from someone soon.we did take our vehicle to johnson lexus of raleigh service department on 01/20/2020and we spoke with general manager deborah meli & service manager rick bergevin. Mr. Rick took photos to send to a lexus specialist for review. Mr. Rick suggested that this might have occurred do to owners error. Either something spilled in that area or it was a reflection of some object that caused this issue to occur. I purchased my vehicle 2018 and within approx. A month i was involved in an accident on the freeway where my vehicle stalled which resulted in major damages to my car . I couldn't explain what happened because i didn't know at the time. Prior to the accidenti spoke to the dealership and reported that the check engine light wouldn't turn off and he stated it probably needed tuneup . Car felt rough. Accident resulted in vehicle repair and me w/o a car. The air bag did not deploy,entire front car smashed in.after vehicle was restored engine light and tire pressure lights remain on , had to take car to lexus dealership (north park) where it was maintenence.when i picked it up car sounded strangely loud and as i was driving off the car stalled again.nobody was available to help me and i ended up taking car home . The following day i spoke to two managers and expressed my concerns .my car was then picked up from my home and taken to lexus dealership where another thorough inspection was completed.long story short they found something wrong and have me an estimate in which i paid a significant amount of money.since then my car is inspected timely and to this day engine lights and other lights are on and nobody will do anything but take my money to replace misc items! now i just read there is a recall which explains everything and for once it makes sense that this " luxury "car sold to me was a lemon and a very expensive one at that with all the repairs andjust feeling safe in my vehicle while i'm driving! i've reached out to lexus and nobody returns calls or act like they are not familiar with a recall for my car.in the meantime,everyb time i drive the car i fear that it will stall again for the 4th time and maybe me and my son won't be so lucky!when it stopped on the freeway it was sudden and in heavy traffic . Every now and then my car won't start .
2015 lexus gs-350 f-sport. 71,348 milesthe audio and entertainment system in the dash board. All radio speckers and sound effects feed back tones. This has happened while "stationary, in motion, city street, and highway. The audio radio, sat, cd or bluetooth and navigation on-screen feedback tones disappear. Options to adjust bass,treble or ect is greyed out and lost. The point pad also looses sound feeback. This has happend now twice this year. Checked all fuses and they are good. Unplugged amp in trunck and worked the 3rd time but not the first 2. This audio system is not mark l. I belive it is jbl?or pioneer?the vehicle has navigation, etc.
Driving at 70mph with cruise on.dash lights came on to check engine, also 4 wheel drive engaged and engine started to act unusual.pull over shut car off and waited a few minutes to restart and everything seemed to reboot and went back to normal.this has happened several times in the last 2 months.

Brakes and rotor wear out at 28000 driving mostly freeway
Steering wheel "locks" under certain conditions and must be jerked to have the steering work properly. Jerking steering wheel causes car to swerve causing dangerous situation.conditions: (1) car has been sitting in warm sun for hours, (2) car is then driven on smooth highway at speeds over 60mph, (3) the steering wheel lock occurs randomly on different highway areas (not same part of hwy), (4) has not occurred at low speeds or in small areas like parking lots or neighborhoods.car: rwd, gs350 luxury package, no lane keeping assist on the vehicletested: had tires checked, rebalanced and rotated and steering wheel lock still occurs.
Driver door power lock actuator doesnt work. Will not work at all with power lock button or key fob. Will only work manually but only after several attempts or giggling it strongly. Also will not open when using the handle. You must keep trying to wiggle it to get it to open. Hazardous condition as it takes a while to get it to open. This is a well known problem with them.
I was driving to work tuesday morning on new years day at 8:45 am 1/1/2019. As i was driving down the rd, (no other cars where on the rd at the moment) i heard a cracking sound, then next thing i know my sunroof exploded causing me to swerve into the opposite lane of traffic! i pulled over and got out of my car and sure enough my sunroof was exploded !!! with my luck its new years day and no one is open to fix it, and i live in rainy washington state.

The driver side front tire scratches the fender when turning half way right.i reported to the dealer, dealer also showed me the same model which has the same issue, then he said he can do nothing with this, so this is normal
To whom it may concern;greetings,it is with extreme disappointment, frustration and trauma that we notify you of a third burn in our car. On friday, 14 february we experienced a 2nd smoke and burn stain on the arm rest in the rear. Yet again the car was in motion, time was approximately 3:30p, we had 4:30p dinner reservations.as suggested during our last visit monday, 20 january a possible reflection from something in the car could have started the smoke and burn. We are baffled, traumatized and extremely concerned about these issues that randomly occur when the car is in motion. We are fearful of driving the car with ease and comfort promised by the lexus brand. We were advised to removed the car from our garage,remove the cross hanging from the rear view mirror yet again we have another issue. Since purchasing this car, we have experienced issue after issue with random burning being most severe. We are trying to enjoy our car and have faith in this brand. We must say it is quite challenging to say the lease. Please tell us next steps and what our options are. Patching burn marks is not a solution to these ongoing issues. The contact owns a 2015 lexus gs350. The contact stated that while driving 20 mph, the contact heard a popping sound followed by a cracking sound coming from the sunroof. The vehicle was taken to magnussen lexus of fremont (5600 cushing pkwy, fremont, ca 94538) where the vehicle was inspected. The investigation came back with an inconclusive result. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was also notified of the failure and provided no further assistance. The failure mileage was approximately 83,000.
