I own a 1998 land rover range rover and the self dimming rear view mirror is faulty.there is a strong ring or halo developing on the glass that is making it near impossible to see through.i believe the problem is due to the auto dim feature that heats up the special glass to auto dim.anyway, i contacted the manufacturer at 1-800-637-6837 opt 9ext 2949 and talked with a heather.(the conversation was supposedly recorded). She told me that land rover doesn't see why they would be responsible for this and that they wont do anything about this because "the vehicle is out of warranty". This is a common occurrence in this make of vehicle and i think this is an accident waiting to happen.land rover makes the replacement so expensive, that an obvious solution is too costly for the average driver.

When driving inrain the front windshield leaked.this impaired driver's vision. Contacted dealer, has not been able to fix the problem.
