The contact owns a 2008 dodge ram 3500 equipped with a 2019 kz rv durango half ton fifth wheel. While the rv was attached to the vehicle, the landing gear failed without warning. The contact attempted to hold the landing gear in place with a string, but was unsuccessful. The vehicle was towed by an independent towing company to the rv dealer (ray citte rv, 1677 west riverdale rd, roy, ut 84067, 855-837-8863). The dealer diagnosed that the hydraulic seals failed and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired and the failure recurred. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and did not assist. The vin was unknown.
