The contact owns a 2011 ktm north america 530exc motorcycle. The contact was driving 70 mph when the handle bar clamps fractured. The contact noticed a manufacturers technical service bulletin regarding the handle bars clamps and the dealer was contacted. The dealer stated that he was aware of the failure and would mail the contact new replacement clamps. The contact stated the manufacturer should issue a recall because there were many models by the manufacturer that had the same failure. The failure mileage was 250.
