Kia sportage.consumer writes in regards to safety issues relating to the rear turn signal light locationon the low bumper rather than the higher quarter panels of vehicle. The consumer stated the low placement of the rear turn signals diminished the purpose of communicating and posed a safety risk.
Consumer has an issue with kia not having the part for the recall notice. *njwhen the consumer arrived for his scheduled appointment, he was informed by the dealer that they had just installed the last part.
The contact owns a 1999 kia sportage. The contact stated that after starting the vehicle the odor of fuel was present inside and outside the vehicle. The contact also indicated that fuel leaked from the fuel tank and corrosion was present on the fuel tank. The vehicle was diagnosed but was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified and no solution was offered. The failure mileage was 75,000.
