Airbag light comes on. Driver's belt switch was replaced. Air bag light back on again.

The contact owns a 2007 kia sportage.on september 12, 2007, while driving 30 mph, the contact veered to the right and struck a parked vehicle.she then overcorrected to the left and her vehicle rolled over, slid to the opposite side of the street, and struck another parked vehicle.none of the air bags deployed.she suffered a head injury, which she is currently seeing a doctor for due to headaches.she stated that her entire body is sore and she can barely turn her neck.the vehicle is still being inspected.a police report is available.the current and failure mileages were 1,500.

My kia sportage air bag light on the driver side won't come on for a few seconds. It won't come on at all. I have read other people complaints about their air bag light. There is a problem and it needs to be recalled. Kia dealership need to stop putting it on the owners expense. My husband spoke to someone at the kia dealership concerning the air bag light and he was told they need to put it on a machine to analyst the problem. I'm sure they already know about this problem ? to analyst it is going to cost us some money. Why ???

Air bag light came on and passenger air bag light was blinking on and off. I took my car to the dealership and was told that there was a material defect in the seat belt tensioner connected to the wiring harness. They said that if i were to get into an accident that my airbags may not deploy. I have the best extended warranty that you can buy and they will not cover the replacement of the wiring harness because it has to do with the safety restraint system. This is absolutely ridiculous and unsafe!!! how is this not a recall when it is a material defect and is directly related to the safety of the vehicle?i have researched online and found that many other people are having the issue of their air bag light being on and little do they know that it's linked to this whole problem. This is not an isolated issue and from what i found there are many cases of the airbags not deploying in the case of an accident which is probably due to the same material defect. Air bag lights will not turn off when driver and/or passenger are seated in the vehicle.

2007 kia sportage hydroplaned, skidded off the road and flipped 2-3 times, landing on its wheels.the car was damaged on all sides, front and rear.the car is equipped with 8 air bags and not one deployed.the driver door opened and was mangled during the occurrence.this is a serious safety issue with this vehicle.

Airbag light came on, front passenger seat warning light does not turn off when occupied by a passenger, very concerntook it to a service place to diagnose and came back 2 codes, see pic please

My air bag light has been on for a month.

The contact owns a 2007 kia sportage. The contact stated that the air bag light illuminated on the instrument panel. The front passenger seat sensor also illuminated while a passenger was occupying the seat; the air bag light would also intermittently shut on and off. The contact took his vehicle to the dealer for diagnostic testing. The dealer diagnosed the seat belt tension sensor , and various other unknown sensors. The dealer also mention that the passenger air bag light was up to code and it was normal for the light to intermittently turn off and on if the occupant was moving in the seat. The vehicle was repaired; however, the failure recurred. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was 31,400.

One morning, the vehicle was stationary on my drive way. I have noticed my car airbag yellow light is on and it has been on since december 15, 2015. I know its a safety issue and i am worried about it.i feel it may be a default on the airbag.

Air bags did not deploy in a frontal crash.

I was in auto accident and my car rolled and my body (even though i was wearing a seatbelt) was thrown around and my sternum was severely injured - hairline fracture.none of my airbags deployed.not the front or the sides.

The air bag light in my 2007 kia sportage keeps coming on for no reason.i had this problem occur three (3) times this year twice on the driver's side and once one the passenger's side.the dealership keeps saying you have to sit in the seat a certain way so the light won't come on and recognize your weight.i am over 200 lbs. So i don't understand how the seat does not recognize i am seating in it.i believe there is a fault with the air bag system. I have read about air bag light problems in other kia models.please investigate this problem before someone is injured or killed when the air bag does not deploy in a crash because of a faulty air bag system.

This has been going on for 2 years and i have contacted and gone to dealership with no satisfaction. While driving in wet conditions, the steering wheel will lock up, battery light will come on, car sometimes stalls and there is ahigh pitch squeal near right front wheel.i have read and printed many reports from online complaints where customers are saying same thing happens to them.i also have video that i took this morning on the way to work to document what happens because trying to recreate the problem at a dealership by spraying water on it does not help.i showed a co-worker the video this morning and he said for me to keep it because if something happens to me while driving in the rain, perhaps this will help the lawsuit.i reported this originally in 2017 but has occurred every time i drive in the rain.this morning was the most recent and i fear for my safety driving this car.does someone need to get killed before anything gets addressed???

I purchased this vehicle a little over 2 weeks ago for my son and on 3 different occasions the vehicle refused to start, iv'e had the vehicle towed back to the dealer twice, they checked the battery, said it was good, said the alternator was good also, they had the vehicle all weekend, they said they replaced the starter, picked the vehicle up yesterday, my son took it to school today and the vehicle would not start again, i tried to jump start it with no luck, i had to have it towed back to the dealership again, i feel this vehicle is unsafe for my son to drive, they are trying to fix it as we speak, what options do i have for getting my money back for this vehicle

When driving in rainy weather, i will loose power steering after driving over a puddle.the battery light will come on and my power steering will go off.it comes back after a minute or so, but when it goes out, the vehicle becomes very difficult to control.

My suv was in motion and the abs, esc and the diagram of the whole drive train lit up. I was backing out of my driveway when all of these lights came on at the same time.

Drivine on road approx speed 35 miles per hour and experienced burning smell.the temperature gauge immediately went from the middle of the gauge to hot.i pulled out of the road as soon as this happened and the steering wheel locked up.i exited the vehicle immediately as there were large billows of smoke coming from the engine .there was fire under the right front side of the vehicle.i called 911 who sent the local fire department.the car was completely in flames within 2 minutes and it took the fire department approximately 10 minutes to arrive and put out the flames. The flames were present to the back seat and the only portion of the vehicle intact was the rear of the vehicle.

The contact owned a 2007 kia sportage. The contact stated that the vehicle caught on fire while parked. The fire department extinguished the fire. The fire chief informed the contact that the fire started from an electrical system. A police report was not filed. The vehicle was destroyed. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was unknown. The vin was not available.

The contact owns a 2007 kia sportage.while driving 65 mph, the vehicle violently jerked and vibrated.the contact stated that the electrical system controller failed.the esc off light illuminated and the dealer stated that the abs failed.general maintenance repairs were made on the vehicle.the vin was unknown.the current and failure mileages were 700.

Started experiencing times when i could not shift out of park after starting the car.notified of a recall for the brake light switch and told it effects brake lights but may also effect shifting.part was replaced for the 2009 recall.in december of 2014 experienced the same shifting problem, mechanic said that brake light switch was the problem again.i checked kia's website and noticed a second recall for this part from 2013, but kia said they only honor the one recall from 2009 so i had to pay out of pocket to have this part replaced again even though the manufacturer had put out a second recall.if second recall issued and problem came back why wouldn't the manufacturer replace the part?

When driving through a puddle of standing water, the 'splash' of water that entered the engine compartment caused the 'charging' warning light to illuminate, the engine to stall, resulting in the loss of power assist to both steering and brakes.this had never occurred in all my previous years of ownership, but has recurred multiple times since. I had vehicle serviced this week and was told this was 'normal' and related to the alternator on the vehicle being mounted 'low to the ground'.well, the alternator position has not changed, and i had driven through puddles many times over the previous six years without incident.i don't know if this is a design flaw or a dealership that simply was not able to diagnose the issue, but loss of braking and steering assist compromises safe operation.

The contact owns a 2007 kia sportage. While driving various speeds on wet road surfaces, the steering wheel locked and the battery and other unknown warning indicators illuminated. The vehicle was taken to bob king kia (1725 link rd, winston-salem, nc 27103 (336) 724-3866) where the failure was unable to be duplicated. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 100,000. The vin was unavailable.

I parked my car i went out the next day and my steering was locked,my ignition was locked and my shifter was locked.

Hi!i just took my 2007 kia sportage in for an oil change today, july 14, 2012 and initially thought that my tail lights were burnt out.the mechanic stated that my vehicle's brake lights were not working at all.after researching the internet, i found out that kia recalled 2007 sportage in 2009 because of external break lighting issues.i was not notified of this recall by the kia dealer whatsoever and have driven this car for three years.i am completely beside myself that i drove a car for three years with a major safety recall.at this point, i cannot afford a new car so i do not know what to do.i guess i should consider myself lucky to be alive.i have to submit this complaint because it is not right to keep this information from consumers.it is negligent and irresponsible to sell a car to someone if it has a safety recall and not to notify or warn them about it.

My suv was in motion and the abs, esc and the diagram of the whole drive train lit up. I was backing out of my driveway when all of these lights came on at the same time.

Abs and esc lights came on simultaneously.right rear wheel locked up and started squealing.very cold weather (10 degrees) outside.happened when i was just starting out.

My complaint is with kia motors america.they were required to issue a recall on the 'stop lamp switch' in 2009 for certain kia models including my 2007 kia sportage.i had my vehicle serviced in june of 2009 for this issue.since then the "warranty" expired on the part and it is now broken again (i have no functional brake lights).the dealer indicated that they must charge me the full $160.00 to fix it.however, there is a back order on the part, so i cannot drive my car legally for at least a week until the part comes in.this is concerning, why is the stop lamp switch continuing to fail?obviously since the part is on back order there seems to be a bigger problem - the recall seems to have failed! i contacted kia motors directly to see if they would help.the responded absolutely not, it was my problem because it is out of warranty.i would have to incur the expense.how do i know once it's fixed it won't happen again.there seems to be multiple safety concerns:1) driving with no brake lights and being unaware; 2) the esc malfunction causes the cruise control to fail/not shut of when you press the brake.i am concerned that peoples safety is at risk.

Brake lights are not operating and the electronic stability control system malfunction light stays on.kia has a recall sc098 (nthsa number 13v114000) for this exact problem, when i took the car to the dealer they informed me my vin does not fall in that recall, i spoke to kia and they informed me the same, yet my car has the identical problems described in the recall notice they have also informed me the hydraulic electronic control unit and the recall has verbiage of hydraulics.my concern is kia states i am outside the recall window with the identical issue as stated on the recall from 2013 and expanded at least once

The contact owns a 2007 kia sportage.the contact stated the electronic stability control warning light continuously illuminated on the instrument panel. The vehicle was not taken to the dealer for a diagnostic testing.the manufacturer was not notified of the failure.the approximate failure mileage was 85,000.

Esc light and brake lights don't work, on prior recall list, dealer refuses to fix.

The esc (electronic stability control) light in my car is illuminating without depressing the button and the brake lights do not illuminate when the brake pedal is depressed.i have replaced the brake bulbs (all other tail lamps work...blinkers, flashers & back-up lights).i looked up on-line and found that kia had issued a recall "exterior lighting: brake lights: switch" announced on 4/17/2009 for this very thing. I contacted kia motors directly to see if they would help. The responded absolutely not, it was my problem because it is not on the recall. I would have to incur the expense. How do i know once it's fixed it won't happen again. There seems to be multiple safety concerns: 1) driving with no brake lights and being unaware; 2) the esc malfunction causes the cruise control to fail/not shut of when you press the brake. I am concerned that peoples safety is at risk.

The vehicle has had a history of problems all described by the 2013 recall.the brake light is intermittent. I have had the cruise fail to turn off, the esc off light illuminates, the car can be shifted into gear without pressing the break with the ignition off. The vehicle will occasionally have automatic transmission issues with the break transmission interlock system which is causing the intermittent esc off light warning to randomly illuminate.it will go quite a time without it on then randomly turn on and off and then stay and then repeat the same type pattern associated with the reports of the initial recall.i have reported these issues to kia in which i called the kia us corporate line about a year and a half ago.it still continues despite regular service and proper vehicle care. The vehicle can be stationary or in movement.in many cases the esc off light illuminates when starting from a stopped position, or right after accelerating or beginning to accelerate.the only way to reset it is to turn the car off and then back on.sometimes that works sometimes it doesn't.if it works at times, as soon as i move the shifter away from park it illuminates the esc off light.it is intermittent though and can be hard to catch.when it happens though it does so on and off randomly. This has occurred repeatedly since purchasing the car.mechanics cannot figure it out except expressing it is exactly the description of the recall.i was unaware of the recall as my vin didn't shot up. However the kia office told me the cars vin was registered as sportage without ac even thought it has ac and has since manufacture. The issues need attention. I was informed by another driver that the tail lights were out multiple times but i could never reproduce it. I've only caught it once at night as i can see the reflections of the brake lights behind me. Various speeds.

Vehicle has been to kia dealership 3 times for esc light staying on.first time they said it was ok, next 2 times the switch was replaced.works for a while then malfunctions again.esc light stays on, cruise will not work, and sometimes the brake lights will stay on.vehicle now has 71000 miles and light is still on.after researching the web, located a recall on this similar problem, 09v130000 is the number.called kia customer service and they said this vin # is not in the recall, yet its the same exact complaint as the recall.recall said it can lead to a crash.any help would be appreciated.

In march 2013 i had casey kia install a refurbished engine to replace my bad engine because the mileage had surpassed the warranty.out of pocket i spent about 3300.00.i drove this car for another six months to which i had no known issues until on november 19, 2013. It started binding and hard shifting from 2-3 gear. Fluid was also on radiator.casey also installed radiator at the time the engine was installed.they said in their report they replaced all fluids and replaced filters.come to find out when i took this vehicle to ammoco transmission on november, 19, 2013 that not only was the transmission bad but radiator was bad..no engine light was on at any time.they did a complete 100 point system check come to find out casey kia installed engine incorrectly leaving the engine light completely off so that if i had any issues what so ever that i would be forced to pay more out of pocket for intensive repairs to my vehicle.this car became so unsafe to drive that i was forced to have to trade it in to hall hyundai which of course i got 1800.00 for a 10,000.00 vehicle. Not only did i have to give up my favorite vehicle i was forced into having to buy a car i did not like and did not want..because i needed immediate transportation due to being military..i reported this issue to the kia corporation which they are investigating.i have complete reports from ammoco and the fact that i had to redo the fluids and redo the oil changes after it came out of casey kia hands .this vehicle has engine severe transmission electrical dashboard issues and is not certified preowned..and if isa lie..thank you for your time and if you need to contact me please do i have all the maintenance history on this vehicle and its not pretty..[xxx]information redacted pursuant to the freedom of information act (foia), 5 u.s.c. 552(b)(6).

The contact owns a 2007 kia sportage. While driving approximately 20 mph, the vehicle stalled. The vehicle was towed to an independent mechanic for diagnostic testing. The mechanic stated that the motor failed and needed to be replaced. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 165,000.

When driving through a puddle of standing water in october 2012, a 'splash' of water entered the engine compartment caused the engine in my 2007 kia sportage to stall, resulting in the loss of power assist to both steering and brakes. This occurred several times in 2012 and 2013. But, in 2014, it has happened much more often.enough to force me to take my sportage into a kia dealership to see if they could diagnose the problem.they tried to recreate the problem using a hose, since they did not wish to have their employees try to drive it in actual rain.they were not successful in making the car stall. Therefore, i was told that there is no problem with the engine.recently, i have learned that the ignition coil is what is getting wet and stalling the car.if kia is willing to replace the ignition coil, it does not solve my problem.the ignition coil will still be in a vulnerable place under my car.i would expect the same to happen in the future even with a new ignition coil.i cannot have my car stall out on a major highway in the rain while going 70 miles an hour. It is an accident waiting to happen.i refuse to endanger myself and my family, as well as others on the road, with a problem that kia is aware of.unfortunately, i do not have another vehicle at my disposal.looking at information on the internet, this is a known problem that kia has not done anything but recall and replace the ignition coil.my mechanic was able to find several web sites mentioning this defect.the dealership said that they checked their databases and did not find any such problems/recalls about stalling or ignition coils.loss of braking and steering is a major safety issue. Do i need to wait for injury or death to get a resolution?

My engine simply stopped working. I have been waiting since aug 15 2017 for an engine replacement. Kia has now given me 8 different dates for a new engine.

I own a 2007 kia sportage lx with 6,0259 miles on it. I purchased this vehicle used with warranty, but of course that has expired. When driving in wet road conditions, through rain and over puddles of water my battery light will come on and the power steering will lock. I strongly believe that this is a defect in the vehicle and not due to regular 'wear and tear.' i have read other reports of owners of this same make/model vehicle that have also had the same issues. I am scared to drive the vehicle during a rain storm, worrying that the car is going to stall and leave me stranded.

I drove from avondale, arizona to chicago, illinois for a summer stay exactly 6 weeks ago, my 2007 kia sportage continues to stall and turn off while idling or in traffic after 1 month and 3 attempts to have kia repair it. I decided to do a search online tonight and see if anyone else was having the same problem and eureka! this apparently is an ongoing problem with kia based on the number of owners complaining about their cars stalling while driving and being unable to be repaired! it's back at a kia dealership for the 4th time in a month since yesterday 7/1/11! somebody is going to get killed if there haven't been deaths already!my car is a 4 wheel drive with a 6l engine that i purchased in october 2007with 3,040 miles on it is still under kia's advertised warrenty (the very reason i bought the car in the first place), i have had no problems with it until now and have had regular maintenance. I drove from phoenix, arizona to chicago, illinois over the course of 3 days from may 9th to may 12th. 2 weeks later, (may 21st) without any other indications, it began to stall and shut off while in traffic, the initial engine shut off was while stopped for a traffic light coming home from lunch out with a friend no engine lights no warning, it stalled again when pulling in to park at her house that same evening. I could just turn the ignition off and back on and the engine restarted both times but i ended the outing and went home worried because i didn't want to be caught out at dusk in chicago with a stalled car.i called evergreen kia the next morning may 23th and spoke with brian bozer explained the problem it was presenting and was advised to bring the car in. At my brother's suggestion i then took it to the auto zone down the street at 76th and stoney island and the technician there used a handheld diagnostic meter and received a code of po711, i took the receipt with the code from the auto zone and the car in at 8am on may 23th, it stalled once.

The contact owns a 2007 kia sportage. The contact stated that when the brake pedal was depressed, the rear brake light failed to illuminate without warning. The contact mentioned that the failure occurred after the vehicle was serviced under nhtsa campaign number: 13v114000 (exterior lighting, service brakes, hydraulic). The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic, where it was diagnosed that the bulbs needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired twice, however, the failure recurred. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 60,000.

The contact owns a 2007 kia sportage. The contact stated that the headlights were extremely dim. The lights had to be placed in a high beam setting in order to see anything. The contact mentioned that the failure was a very serious safety concern because the visibility was impaired while operating the vehicle. The dealer diagnosed that the light bulb wattage needed to be increased and replaced. The vehicle was repaired, but the failure persisted. The manufacturer was notified. The approximate failure mileage was 68,000.

2007 kia sportage. Consumer writes regardingan accident and the driver side seatbelt failed to restrain them. *as

The contact called on behalf of a client who owned a 2007 kia sportage. While the client was traveling 40 mph on a two lane road, an oncoming vehicle making a left turn was rear ended by another vehicle. As a result, the vehicle that was rear ended was pushed head on into the client's vehicle. The contact stated that the client's vehicle also rolled over several times. The air bags deployed as intended. The client was ejected from the vehicle. The contact stated that the client was wearing the lap and shoulder seat belts at the time, but they failed to work as intended. The client sustained injuries to the left arm and was transported by ambulance to seek medical attention. A police report was filed. The driver's spouse sustained minor injuries that did not require medical attention. The vehicle was destroyed. The vehicle was towed to an independent facility and possession was later transferred to the law firm's storage lot. The contact stated that the manufacturer sent an investigator to diagnose the seat belt failure. The client was informed that the seat belt was engaged at the time of impact and worked as intended. The local dealer was not contacted. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was unknown.

Airbag light came on, front passenger seat warning light does not turn off when occupied by a passenger, very concerntook it to a service place to diagnose and came back 2 codes, see pic please

Update 9/15/15*cwthe consumer no longer owns the vehicle. Updated 10/15/15

The contact owns a 2007 kia sportage. The contact stated that the front driver and passenger side seat belts continuously retracted while latched and failed to remain in place. The seat belts failed to hold the occupant in place. In addition, the contact noticed that the air bag warning lights illuminated. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 165,000.

I was recently in an accident in which i was rear ended by a bus.at the instant that the accident happened my airbags went off and my drivers seat collapsed backwards.after the accident i looked at the seat and saw that the hinges that hold the cushion and seatback together both snapped causing the seat to collapse backwards.it is a good thing no one was sitting behind me as their legs would have been crushed.

Stopped at a red light to make a left turn. Once the light turned green the brakes apparently locked up and the car would not go forward or reverse and couldn't be moved in the nuetral position and was impossible to move from traffic lane without tow truck help. When loading onto flat bed tow truck front drivers side wheel and passenger side rear wheel wouldn't turn and slid on flatbed metal. Same true at home. Online forums indicate at least three cases of this happening resulting in replacement of the master cyclinder and parts of that and power brake booster replacement to correct the problem.apparently the brake master cyclinder leaks brake fluid into the booster causing massive brake or transmission lockup. It happens when you brake at a stop and renders you unable to move the vehicle.

My suv was in motion and the abs, esc and the diagram of the whole drive train lit up. I was backing out of my driveway when all of these lights came on at the same time.

The abs pump, caused my brakes to lock on all four tires causing rubber to burn and smoke. I was driving the car when i noticed something happened and felt like i had emergency brakes would not drive any more than 10 miles an hour, was close to home and completely locked up as i drove into my driveway. No emergency light was given on my panel.

All wheel brake parts were replaced except for brake lines. Within two weeks the brakes at the drivers side front and passenger side rear froze and the car would not move even in neutral? the only way to get those wheels brakes to release was to open the individual bleeder and push it by hand using only the emergancy brake to stop it in the garage. Jacked up in the rear the passenger side rear would lock up when the brake pedal was pushed. Once bleeder opened wheel would turn but lock up when pedal once again pushed. The kia forum online reports this happening on various kia and huyandia vehicles over several years and models! the vehicle locked up while stationary at a stop light! the only reported fix on the forum was replacement of a leaking master cyclinder into the brake booster. I replaced my master cyclinder and found no leak into the booster but am still unable to get brake fluid to feed to the passenger rear brake and thus bleed the air out?

Abs and esc lights came on simultaneously.right rear wheel locked up and started squealing.very cold weather (10 degrees) outside.happened when i was just starting out.

2007 kia sportage. Consumer states that rear brakes failed due to rear caliper slides being corroded with brake dust. Also, the tires were severely worn.the rear calipers failed to release completely. Kia refused to honor the warranty because they stated the consumer did not have slides cleaned to assure they were not sticking.

Steering wheel jammed in cold weather specially in morning, very hard to turn

When driving in rainy weather, i will loose power steering after driving over a puddle.the battery light will come on and my power steering will go off.it comes back after a minute or so, but when it goes out, the vehicle becomes very difficult to control.

The contact owns a 2007 kia sportage. The contact stated that while traveling approximately 70 mph, he felt a strong vibration in the steering wheel. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where the failure could not be replicated. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was contacted about the failure. The failure mileage was 10,000 and the current mileage was 61,000.

2007 kia sportage steering wheel noise. Consumer states that he has not gotten a response or a solution. He would like to know if there is anything we can do to help with his problem.

My 07 sportage had developed a mysterious creak noise when accelerating from a stop and going over batches and bumps(which i ignored). This progressed into a rather loud clunk going over bumps that you could also feel in the floorboards. This prompted me to take a look see as to the source of the noise.turns out, the source of the noise was due to the rear chassis crossmember that mounts the upper trailing arms for the rear axle assembly had rotten clean through and the mounting arm on the right side had broken free.here you can see the remnants of the crossmember and mounting bracket still bolted to the rear axle assembly;the damage was across the entire crossmember including the fuel tank mount and note the left side trailing arm mount was not too far away from breaking off as well.the frame was also rotted down by the right rear lower trailing arm mount.this particular vehicle had a recall about 3 years ago for undercoating, i took it to the kia dealer in yonkers, new york and i am sure they saw this rotten damage and did nothing about it putting my family and myself in danger. I could have got into an accident with devastating consequences. It looks like the frame and components are of cheap quality

Completely rusted out frame by back right suspension and caused suspension to collapse..

Vehicle is unable to pass inspection due to perforation on right rear side member. Two recalls,2011 and 2013, were supposed to remedy this problem. Out of warranty at 85,000 miles. Unsafe to drive.

I stopped behind a suv in the turning lane, waiting on light change when for no reason, the kia surged forward and hit the suv in front of me. Total amt of damage to both cars was $8,000.

On january 2nd, 2018 my vehicle was parked at the 7 eleven in silvis illinois and it caught fire and then blew up. I contacted kia consumer affairs and they wouldn't stand behind their product all because i couldn't give them colored pictures of the incident. I gave them 5 or 6 black and white photos from the fire department and police department.
