Regarding to the recall notice received on air bag (01v-156). Consumer took the vehicle to the dealer for repair. The dealer promised in no more than six hours but eight hours later consumer called and it was not ready.

Kia optima. Consumer writes in regards to problem with obtaining vehicle recall repairs *tgwthe consumer stated after she took the vehicle to the dealer for a recalled air bag issue, the light remained on. The dealer informed the consumer she would have to pay $103 to get a diagnosis to determine the exact cause of why theair bag light was still on.
The brakes make noise while driving, the vehicle has been taken to the dealer but the problem exists, electrical problems.nlm
The vehicle is experiencing several electrical problems, the clock began fading out, the dome light comes on but does not go back out, the rear window does not go up immediately when the button is pushed, the drivers window does not go up all the way, the drivers side door lock cannot be unlocked from the inside but the consumer had to use the key or door lock button on the other side of the vehicle.nlm

Kia optima.consumer writes in regards to defective directional indicators on vehicle dashboard.the consumer stated when the directional indicators were pushed, it would illuminate a green signal on the dashboard, to the right or left, depending on which direction was desired, and the signal would shut off when the desired direction was achieved. However, when changing lanes or making a partial turn, the signals would remain illuminated and continue to stay illuminated until the directional indicator was manually shut off by pushing the lever to the neutral position. During that period, of illumination, there was no audible sound. In fact, there was never an audible sound, whenever the green signals were flashing. The consumer stated there were times, when he would forget to turn off the signals.
The passenger seat belt continued to tighten, when a move was made, thebelt did not release unless it was done manually. (2002 kia optima)
