The contact owns a 2004 keystone tail-gator hauler trailer.while driving approximately 70 mph on normal road conditions, the lateral cross- braces failed without warning.the contact was alerted of the failure by an opposing driver traveling on the road.the contact immediately pulled over to the side of the road and inspected underneath the vehicle.the vehicle was repaired while parked on the side of the road.the polybutylene bladder liquid was emptied before the three cross-braces were welded securely.the vehicle was able to resume normal operation and was taken to anauthorized dealer for inspection.the technician stated that the failure was related to improper bracing installation that failed to meet the manufacturer standards.the technician replaced the other two cross- braces.the failure and current mileages were unavailable.
