2005 keystone sprinter copper canyon rv and dometic refrigerator recall.consumer states that dometic will not reimburse for the repair on the refrigerator. *njammonia had leaked from a cracked weld. The consumers reimbursement claim was denied because the repairs were not made within the specified time frame and the warranty had also expired.
The contact owns a 2005 keystone sprinter.the contact heard a loud bang or pop and discovered that the refrigerator ruptured.he went to investigate the cause of the sound and noticed ammonia leaking from the vehicle.the dealer stated that there was a massive recall, and advised the contact to unplug the refrigerator and shut off the gas.the manufacturer stated that the vehicle is out of warranty; therefore, they would not repair it under the recall.the contact would have to cover the cost of the repairs.the failure mileage was unknown.
