The contact owns a 2005 keystone outback fifth wheel rv. The circuit breakers and oven pilot lightwould continually turn off, and the shower would leak. Also the siding, made of fiber glass, began to bubble and warp. The manufacturer was contacted, but no assistance was provided. The failure and current mileages were under 20,000.

Onor about 3/21/08 my wife heard a beeping sound while we were outside. Upon further investigation we discovered that our keystone outback rv was on fire. We extinguished the fire with water. Some days later my brother came over to help me repair it. We are both firefighters, so of course we investigated the cause. We discovered a pinched a.c. Wire between the chassis and floor. I have taken pix but have not contacted the dealer because it is out of warranty and cannot be towed by me due to the 12 wires being melted therefore no brake lights. I emailed the manufacturer twice, but have had no response.

While on the interstate in arizona, the left rear leaf spring "snapped" in half. The spring broke about 2 inches from the bolt eye. The trailer has less than 10,000 miles. Leaf springs do not break. It can cause the camper to flip. Spring was replaced at my cost. Pictures and info were sent to keystone. No response. The break in the spring appears to be because defective material. One would think theother springs would be defective also as well as all keystone campers made in this time frame.
